My Favorite T19 100% Delirious Builds, What were yours? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 06:35 PM PDT In no particular order, not counting Herald stacking, for me the most success I had in T19 100% maps were: 1) LL Spellslinger VD/DD NecroGot some buffs today which makes me think it might get nerfed. Would work well as a league starter. 2) MoM Archmage Storm Brand NecroDead in the water. 3) CI Redemption Sentry NecroVicious Bites will likely get nerfed, I think it will still be pretty good though. I'm not sure going CI is worth the investment. 4) CI Herald of Purity Spider GuardianPure Agony will likely get nerfed, but this build will remain unkillable. Kills will take longer with less sentinels though. 5) CwC Whispering Ice ScionSplit personalities will likely get nerfed, you lose about 1k Intelligence but will still be good. Leaning toward league starting with this. 6) CI CoC Ball Lightning AssassinOne of my favorite builds of all time, takes the Mjolnir build to another level. Unless they change ball lightning this seems like it shoud avoid most nerfs. Kinda hard to league start as because you need ES on Hit Watchers Eye or the Spider Boots for proper sustain. 7) LL Vortex Cold Snap OccultistFeels like it hits a hard ceiling with damage but extremely safe. Will be interesting to see how the Cold Brand will help with single target. Would make a great league starter. Honorable mentions: Elementalist Golemancer (Felt squishy at higher tiers of content and even with a lot of regen invested golems would die), Facebreaker Cyclone Gladiator (Felt susceptible to off-screen oneshots), Max Blockl Bleed Bow Scion (Puncture just feels weird to me to use, I'm probably just bad though) [link] [comments]

3.11 Ground Slam Juggernaut SSF-friendly League Starter (very budget, critique wanted) Posted: 14 Jun 2020 03:34 AM PDT Here's an idea for a league-starter for 3.11 that I just wanted to share to see if it's sound and will perform like I hope. I've never actually made it to T16 maps and real endgame bosses before and I want to actually get to those for once. It's a Juggernaut using Vaal Ground Slam (or maybe the non-Vaal version) and Vaal Ancestral Warchief with a 2 handed axe. The idea is for this build to be a reliable atlas pusher, not a super zippy speedfarmer or boss deleter. I have no idea how I'd get a build like this dealing millions of Shaper DPS but I don't really care so long as it's really tanky and still able to take on all content, even if it's a bit slow. I play SSF so I want the build to be as "self contained" as possible, relying entirely on the passive tree and skill gems to get most of the work done. All of the gear in the PoB is really basic, there is no DPS on any items beside the weapon and some flat phys/% inc melee from the rings and gloves. No uniques, no unrealistic rares, no multi-modding. I'm also only using 5-linked skills; both Ground Slam and Warchief are 5-linked, the idea being that I'd rely on the totem to supplement my damage at all times as opposed to just popping it down for boss fights, which I suppose is what you're supposed to do anyway. Normally I'd just 4-link my totem or even just use Vaal Warchief unlinked but I want to try out emphasizing its role a little more. With just super basic gear, Resolute Technique, and a 5-linked skill it should be hitting for somewhere around 500-600K shaper DPS which doesn't seem awful for a Juggernaut? This is adding the damage from Ground Slam with the Warchief itself. "Enemy at close range" is ticked in PoB because that seems to be representative of the bossing power of Ground Slam. There's a lot of damage left to get with six-linked items, better rares/uniques, and surely some other tricks that are out there that I have no clue about. No jewel sockets or cluster jewels accounted for at this stage as those things are hard to plan around when considering SSF play. If I find good jewels, I'll work them in if it makes sense to. General points of the build: - thicc jugg, life regen and endurance charges (7) Uberlab will be ez-mode - 90% phys reduction through armour, endurance charges, and basalt flask - Fortify buffed with Rampart - Vaal Molten Shell with granite flask, great synergy with Jugg (Unbreakable node) - ~6K life pool should be within reach as I have +191-195% increased max life on the tree - Blind applied through Flesh & Stone (sand stance) - 2H axe because budget/apply Bleed for warchief - Resolute Technique, again because budget - Fuck Tabula Rasa When the patch notes hit, things will probably change and I'm almost certainly going to work a warcry into the build - probably Seismic Cry or Intimidating Cry, and I'll surely experiment with Fist of War Support. I've left a couple of gem sockets empty, knowing a warcry/something else is likely to be added. So, some questions:

Can you recommend a build based on these requirements? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:56 AM PDT Delirium was my first league. I tried a few builds and really like this groundslam berserker. But as groundslam seems it might be popular this league, I'm keen to try something else. I really liked that the build was satisfyingly responsive. I smashed, things in front of me died. It had a nice rhythm to it: Leap slam, groundslam, groundslam, groundslam, warcry to heal, repeat. I also tinkered with a storm brand build, but it just felt really bland by comparison. Just running around hitting key without direct interaction. So I'd like some build recommendations. I'm a casual player (say an hour per day max), and would like something that could do a good amount of endgame content pretty cheaply. I've also got bad eyesight, so I'm happy for a fairly tanky build that can forgive my many mistakes. I don't mind at all if it is slow... I'm slow ;). I'm thinking maybe cyclone as that seems to be 'the' easy melee build. Alternatively a ranged AOE build that can mimic the smashiness of ground slam (may lightening channeling or some other sort of cone-type attack). Summon Raging Spirit also seemed like a chaotically fun skill to build around. If anyone has any suggestions, please post away. Thanks. [link] [comments]

Please critique my BV Chieftain idea Posted: 14 Jun 2020 04:46 AM PDT pastebin here, uses community fork TL;DR at end. Hello exiles. I'd like to make a fool-proof build, because I've been playing for a few leagues but I really struggle to make it past the mid 90s. The builds I try are fine, but I just don't react in time to big hits and DOT, so I end up dying so often that I'm discouraged and quit the league. The idea with this one is to reach near max attack and spell block using the Lethal Pride jewel, while also having a health pool large enough not to be one shot, and to have sustain for DOT. Hopefully idiot-proof and lag-proof. It would be very expensive to build, but it would hopefully achieve ~5k HP, 400 regen + 1k leech + ~200HP on Block, and ~80% phys reduction. In terms of damage it should hit 900k POB damage versus Shaper, with curse and all buffs on, and 600k with inc. area of effect for mapping. TL;DR: I would really appreciate if you could tell me:

Can "the baron" helmet run no leech maps? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 03:05 AM PDT Someone whose played the build can tell me does maps with "cannot leech life from monsters" stop leech from baron, since its technically your zombies doing the leeching right? [link] [comments]

Help with my ED/Contagion Trickster Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:53 PM PDT I just changed my build, trying to get CI to work, so some gear is not optimal because I still have a lot of +life on gear, but my damage is still really low, what can I do to improve my dps? [link] [comments]

Spellslingner VD casting feeling slow? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 06:17 PM PDT I am testing volatile dead splellslinger in std and the castings feels, it is kinda slow. Of course I was testing with shitty gear and a level 73 character I respeced. The videos of similar builds on youtube were casting kinda fast and I was wondering at what point that kind of build are starting to feel more responsive? Maybe I am doing something wrong too. Good league start to transition into self-curse BV Occ? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:16 PM PDT Hey guys, I've been playing since blight league and have finally decided to try out self-curse headhunter. I saw BV Occ is the most popular way to build it so was wondering what's a nice league start that I can farm the base items(solstice, couple of inspired learnings, maybe explode chest?) on and can also easily transition once I have the items(I hate the leveling process so I'd rather spend some regrets than level another character). Best Ascendancy for a Tanky Cyclone League Starter? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:09 AM PDT After putting it off for a couple leagues now, I'm finally going to league start with a cyclone build (unless the patch notes nuke it from orbit). I had been resisting because I've played whirlwind barbs in Diablo 2 and 3 since before my voice changed but.....hard to deny Cyclone is where it's at in PoE right now, and I do love the playstyle. I have been looking at the build guides and POBs and I've seen various opinions on the best way to build. I wanted to get some added opinions here on the best ascendancy to make the build very tanky. I don't mind forgoing a bit of boss DPS, it doesn't need to be a 1 second deleter build. I'm more interested in making sure I'm not constantly watching my health plummet to 0 before I can even get my finger over to the flask button. At the moment based on some things I've read and watched I'm leaning towards BergerBrush's impale dual claw champion, but I'm open to other options. Is this the best way to go for a face tanking cyclone build or can I do better? [link] [comments]
Full cold conversion power siphon? Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:53 AM PDT I saw guides floating around the internet on a full lightning conversion power siphon but really like the added safety that a freeze/chill debuff provides to a build and was wondering how I would go about making a cold conversion version of power siphon. My initial plan was to take hrimburn with the two 20% conversion nodes near the bottom right of the tree but was wondering if there was a better way to convert Phys to cold? Any advice will help as this is my first time making a conversion build or any build in general. [link] [comments]
