Build suggestion for Harvest : BV brands Posted: 04 Jun 2020 12:39 AM PDT So, with the swiftbrand support, brands activate faster, and you can attach 2 on one enemy. So with BV, you could have twice the DPS on bosses, or even more if you self-cast vaal blade vortex. Then I don't know, scale physical damage, get some life leech maybe and you should do plenty of damage What do you think ? [link] [comments]
5.5k life max block 1 million+ dps blade vortex gladiator. Posted: 03 Jun 2020 09:17 PM PDT i know it sounds weird blade vortex and gladiator? well it seems to work pretty well on paper (POB). recently i got really into max block gladiator builds and got a dusksawn maelstrom staff. having this high block chance made me think it would go well with a glad so i tried doing that. Problem is more than half of glads ascendancy is useless for spells. i saw violent retaliation node scales physical damage so i decided on a phys damage spell. i decided on blade vortex but maybe you can try ethereal knives on it. i went for a phys->lightning->cold->fire conversion. somehow i manage to get to some pretty decent numbers and it seems pretty tanky and not too expensive on paper. the most expensive parts of the build would probably be the 2 call of the brotherhoods most others are relatively cheap uniques. BV links which are mandatory are: phys to lightning-cold to fire-empower BV links optional last 2 slots: unleash(best QOL) - elemental focus (raw dps) - efficacy (QOL a bit more duration for BV) - increased crit damage (raw dps and if not using elemental focus allows BV to chill enemies for survivability) i personally chose unleash and crit damage (i also allocated thunderous salvos for critchance+ extra unleash seal but you can choose another maybe). i get unholy might from enigmatic defense and have lots of extra chaos damage thanks to duskdawn so i put a wither+assassins mark+elemental weakness spell totem setup for tough mobs (i get additional curse from tree). maybe i could get more damage and life for cheaper as chieftain but this way has way more survivability i think. POB: https://pastebin.com/WgQmJPUn NOTE: you get max block cap after blocking 9 hits thanks to glad ascendancy. thoughts on the build? do you think it would be viable ingame? what would be a good idea to allocate on necklace in your opinion? EDIT: just noticed you can shave off 2 passive ponts near the witch passive start by going over the ES wheel instead of under it. Edit2: fuck I forgot to put in the jewels oh wellm that just means it has room for more dps/life. I'd recommend increased max life and lightning damage . [link] [comments]
My builds have poor DPS and low survivability and I'm don't know how to improve (Ice Shot PF) Posted: 03 Jun 2020 12:08 PM PDT MAIN: Level 90 Pathfinder - Ice Shot: https://pastebin.com/VekhsKqt I'm mostly looking for advice on my main (Ice Shot), the other builds are there to help y'all notice any patterns. This is my first league. My Ice Shot Pathfinder is my league starter and I've killed Sirus with it and completed the storyline. My others I've made for fun but haven't tried late maps with. But they all are very squishy and unforgiving. The damage is poor as well; it either one-shots things or barely tickles them. When I killed Sirus for the first time (Aw5, Ice Shot PF), his health bar moved at a respectable rate. But afterwards I tried a 100% delirium map (I got cocky) and was struggling to kill white mobs. I don't think I was even able to move Kosis's Energy Shield. Can anyone help me? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jun 2020 03:07 AM PDT Hey folks, I was wondering which build will profit the most from the ability to easier roll certain mods on your items I know in general every buuld will do so but are there any specific builds you could think of which might see an easier access to them? like I always dreamed of playing an Autobomber with herald of thunder but as an casual gamer with an Budget of under lets say 100ex it was out of my League. Do you trink builds like this will get (way) easier to access? [link] [comments]
Beginner console player looking for a framerate-friendly build! Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:41 AM PDT I just finished my first league as a Molten Strike Jugg with a friend who had a lot of minions and BOY OH BOY does that not work on PS4! I see a lot of fun builds out there but I'm curious which ones either don't involve a lot of objects on the screen or are fast enough that the objects are off-screen by the time things get going. Looking for a standard build to learn boss mechanics Posted: 04 Jun 2020 02:10 AM PDT Can anyone recommend some builds that has high regen (life or es) and or damage reduction that will allow me to fight bosses of each league mechanic and make mistakes without dying? I don't prefer block/dodge/evade as the main def mechanic as i can still get 1-shotted. I'm playing SSF in standard and don't have any crazy crafted gear but has most mid tier and some high tier uniques. [link] [comments]
What are the pros and cons of crit and non crit? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:31 PM PDT Can someone explain the pros and cons of phys crit/non crit and which is cheaper for a new player? I've been stalled for hours trying to decide but I just dont have enough knowledge to make the decision for myself so I thought I would consult the more experienced players. [link] [comments]
Ranger league starter build before transition to deep delve Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:21 PM PDT Hi all, I'm looking for a solid ranger build that I can use to start and level fast in the league, do red maps and delve until 800-1000 before switching to Iceshot for deeper delving. Anyone can share their experiences on what could be the good build for this? Thank you in advance! [link] [comments]
Best Herald Build Skill for Uber Atziri? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:16 PM PDT So I've been playing your pretty standard LL Scion Herald build, using mostly Arc with some Divine Ire mixed in. It's surprisingly been pretty fun but I have TONS of Atziri and uber fragments saved up and not sure what skill could be effective. I spawned Atziri in the temple and tried using Divine Ire and it was miserable, spent so much time trying to stand in the right place I would either end up dead or kill myself accidentally because my AOE was too big. Any suggestions on what you guys have found success with? I have 3Blue 3 White sockets so I think I could make quite a few combos work [link] [comments]
Would you consider anything a "goldilocks" build? (Cheap, powerful, and fun?) Posted: 03 Jun 2020 10:24 AM PDT What builds would you consider satisfy all 3 requirements here: 1) Cheap to start on a very tight budget (though possibly expandable later) By "all content", obviously certain things like extreme deep delving require a specific build that a normal clearing/bossing build wouldn't be able to do. I'm talking about a general use build. In my personal opinion, 3 specifically means not a minion build, and not a simple wait-for-DoT build like RF. For some people, 3 might mean no cyclone, or no mines. What do you think? What are your favorite builds from a pure fun standpoint, and how do they fare considering the cost:power ratio? Starter build ideas for Harvest Posted: 03 Jun 2020 09:10 AM PDT I know it's difficult to speculate when full patch notes aren't out yet, but from what we've seen so far do you have any new starter builds that will be good in 3.11? By new I mean something that's not the generic SRS, summoner or HFT build. I for one have been wanting to try tectonic slam for a bit, and with the new changes I think it might be worthwhile. Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:29 PM PDT Hello fellow Exiles, Any thoughts on the new Wintertide Brand combined with Occultist / Trickster? Would the ascendancies damage over time add on to the Brand? Plus we can attached 3 brands in this particular case, instead of the regular two (Runebinder Keystone), would it make for a good bossign build? Please let me know if any build maker / old poe hand has any input about this. Thanks all! [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:49 PM PDT Hi folks. I am a newer player and 3.11 will be my second league, first one to include a proper league start. I may be jumping the gun a bit should the passive tree changes yield anything major, but I am seeking your help for a solid totem build that is preferably accompanied by a solid guide! I played ED/C (felt squishy) and LL BL Mines this league. With BL mines I was able to accomplish quite a bit I feel for a new player, and before league end am hoping I can down Sirus, Elder, etc alone. While I enjoy the playstyle I get a bit of an alt fever knowing so many other potentially fun builds are out there, so the next playstyle I'd like to try out is totems. I also like skills that are a little less commonly used, for example Shockwave Totem. I found a guide on POE Forums with some great gameplay vids, but the guide itself doesn't seem to be a whole lot more than a POB, which gem links to use, and a "this is the point of the build". I'd love to see something with a little more in depth effort, info on effective leveling and what kind of gear to pick up before you can afford endgame stuff. I also love the idea of true low life totems with shavs, etc, rather than cowards legacy/soul mantle (want those totem MTX haha). Anyway, love to hear your input! I'm thinking I may use my last bit of 3.10 to put a chat together and try out the playstyle before new league. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 03:17 PM PDT Im new to this game, so sorry if this is a dumb question/s. I used to play this party based CRPG and my favorite build was this glass cannon assassin. I would kill off other party members so the assassin would get more XP. The dev allowed assassin class to use a certain staff and mace that had fast speed and force damage. Combined with a birthfeat that augmented every attack with cold, the assassin would combine speed and force damage of a tank, plus every level up would get more evasion added to stats. The downside is the assassin is less proficient in staff/mace, but farming proficiency got that fixed. At higher level the evasion was high enough that the assassin practically never got hit. End game he would just mow down enemies solo. I was wondering if its possible to do a similar build in this game? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 05:40 AM PDT Hey everyone, the noob here I've been trying to get Cold Iron Point daggers for ages and I can seem to find them on the trade trade market. I definitely know I'm missing something here and would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this for me. I knkw it's probably somethinf super simple but I can't find out online how to purchase these daggers. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Looking for a Witch cold build Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:04 PM PDT I haven't played POE since probably 2015 or 2016. I recently got a new gaming laptop and want to join some friends who started playing POE but have largely forgotten a lot about the game. They are not playing in leagues and I would love to make use of my Level 81 Witch from long ago. I have a full refund on skill points (88 passive points) but no idea where to even start. Does anyone have any recent, effective POE cold builds? I'm fairly certain that's what I was playing back in the day. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 11:52 AM PDT Been away for a few leagues but coming back for the upcoming one. My favorite build ever was Trickster Soulrend but I'm not sure if it's still viable to do something similar again. My plan was to go CI and then also do block shenanigans with glancing blows + ES gain on hit shield. This is of course prefaced on Soulrend scaling well enough to not absolutely need to go LL or go staff with ED in a second 6 link to have enough boss damage [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 05:18 AM PDT Hi, along all seasons I was skiping Delve but this last one I made into 800 depth but my build can't handle the monster damage. Im looking for some tanky build that can do like 1000 depth and im triying to avoid things like Ice shot/ miner. Ty mates! [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jun 2020 07:27 AM PDT Since there is going to be the new Arcanist Brand, i've been thinking of doing Whispering Ice Brand, what do you guys think, ofcourse it depends on the Values of Arcanist Brand, but im thinking it will be a nice experiment. [link] [comments] |
