    1. Could somebody explain to me how to make a ring like this?

    How do you get that mod written in gold? How can the item have two crafts on it? Why does the art have a white outline?

    1. For a hunter stygian vise, for the last mod, what's more desirable, +% life or +ES? Some people also have a 20% increased damage craft on it. How do you get that?

    2. I see a lot of people use Maloney's Mechanism. What makes people use it over a crafted double influenced quiver? How would I go about making a quiver double influenced? Is a regular hunter quiver worth it too?

    3. On another note, what is the benefit of +1 arrow on a toxic rain build? I'm having a hard time imagining that the extra arrow would help for boss DPS as the pods from TR get spread out pretty far

    4. Atziri's step or crafted boots. Which would you recommend?

    5. Cluster jewels. What people use here seems all over the place. Some people use like 6 cluster jewels, some use none. What's the reasoning for this and which notables should I look out for?

    6. Any general advice? What my goals should be, how to build defense?

    Ethereal Knive elementalist extremly squishy

    Hey guys and girls!

    I hope some1 can help me out. Even though i played this game for a good chunk of time, im still not grasping everything when it comes to basic game mechanics. I tried out a new build i've seen on youtube (its this one: https://www.poebuilds.net/cek2 ) and while the build is extremely fun, i hit a wall now that i got to red maps. I just get oneshot way too often.

    A few things i thought about:

    -Not enough life (should be 5k at least)

    -Chaos res. not maxed out.

    -Maybe not enough block ? Even though the pob says that i have 63 % attack block, ingame it says i only got 11% ?

    Sorry if I'm missing something very obvious but this game can be quite overwhelming lol

This build is capable of t16s but once I get into the endgame bossese(shaper, guardians, Sirius) I get trucked pretty hard. Just looking for a build guru that might be able to help me iron some kinks out. The basic idea is to snapshot the intimidating cry double damage exert effect. Thanks in advance!!

    SC - Harvest - Sirius killer

    Hello allI know there is a plenty of topics like this but I'm lurking here for several days with hope to find some OKis bosskiller but I struggle a lot. I decided this league go for 100lvl and Sirius fight is pushing back this goal a lot :) I can kill him with my build but usually die once per 2 Siriuses which push me back a lot (port out and die beam to face offscreen 😀). I would like to have char where I log only for Sirius kill (doesnt have to be deathless). I tried 2 chars (tried bl mines life version then transitioned to poison BV - which was much worse) but I struggled a lot due to no recovery at all usually died on normal non die beams when I run out of flasks (I know they can be avoided but I suck). I understand LL miner with those super expensive gloves would be probably super cool but I dont have that much currency to spare now (since I put everything to main). Is there any "cheap" like 2-4ex build which have good boss dmg (it doesnt have to be 2min kill) and also some recovery to survive there? I dont care about playstyle since I will use that char only for Sirius (not sure about melee though since Sirius is jumping around as mad man 😀). I was thinking about minions but I heard that they die a lot on A8 Sirius without heavy investment. Of course cheaper the better :) saving for HH now 😀 Thanks a lot for any input.

    Build for mapping/bossing on garbagge performance ?

    Hello,

    After a few days on the league, I'm looking for a build to clear the map/conqueror and Sirus w/o taking all my portals.

    So far, I'm awakening 8 and I can't kill Sirus, even on A0. I can't dodge any attack, and I'm not tanky enough to eat everything.

    So I'm looking for a build to finally be able to clear it. SoI need something that can :

    - do all map mods blindly

    - clear with ease, don't need a god speed farmer, but not slow as f*

    - facetank every Sirus attacks (but not Donuts)

    - 15ex budget, can have more if I sell some gears.

    So far, only aura stacking seems to works like that, maybe with elementalist.

    POE 3.11 build recommendations for new player

    Hey guys so I just got poe for PS4 (Bec my friends are on ps4) and wanted to know what is a good build for a beginner. I tried looking at builds and alot of them require certain "legendary" items to make it work and kinda overwhelmed tbh. Coming from Diablo so I know alittle but the whole poe system is new and complicated. Looking for something strong that isn't as people say expensive. I'm open to playing any class really so hit me with a few options or good places to look at for builds.

    Weapons and strike patterns

    I'm planning on playing a double strike character with maximal melee strike range. I was wondering if the swinging pattern of weapons affects which monsters may be caught in the swing. I.e the sword swing for double strike is more like 2 downwards strokes while the axe seems to have some kind of spinning strike. So, I don't know if the hit boxes are actually the same.

    Any recommendations for a brain afk high tier map farmer?

    What I mean by that is something that I dont have to pay 100% attention to while playing through high tier maps. So it should be relatively tanky (or have enough damage to not worry about mobs) and not require 10 buttons pressed per second. Basically if I listen to a podcast or something while playing and dont pay attention to poe for a second I dont want to die instantly. I tried Bleed Lacerate Max Block Gladiatior earlier this league and while that was really tanky/safe it felt a little too slow to me.

    I hope this description even makes sense lol. Also I'm fine with most build types and have about 20 ex budget am fine with farming on a lower budget version tho if a build you recommend requires more. Any recommendations greatly appreciated! :)

    Boss melter for new player?

    Hello everyone, this is my first proper season and I'm loving the game. I'm playing poison BV assassin and it shreds maps but I get one shot by bosses so I was looking for a high dps boss melter that isn't as squishy? A build which is fairly good but can be turned into a monster through crafting would be fun so I can fully sink my teeth into crafting! Thanks for any help provided :) absolutely addicted to this game haha

    Looking for help with crafting a phys 2h sword for a cyclone slayer (SSF)

    I'm playing in softcore SSF. I've just upgraded my gear, getting hold of the fabled explodey chest and tailwind boots - the quality of life those items gave me is amazing. I'm in the process of crafting the ring that's in PoB - final version will have flat accuracy t1 roll, which will allow me to completly drop accuracy from my weapon (ring will also have curse with vulnerability on hit, decent life and a flat phys or warlord's 15-25% increased melee dmg).

    As a ssf player my crafting options are a bit limited - I only have 3 imprint beasts stocked up, so relying on them is kinda not an option. I have a lot of fossils (but only 2x 4-socket resonator), and a lot of seedcraft stocked up, so maybe that'll help.

    As for conqueror bases I currently have Exquisite Blades with Warlord's (ilvl 84) and Hunter's (ilvl 82) influenc stocked up. I also have one 'add random influence to a non-inluenced weapon' craft stocked up, if needed (but that's, well, random, so I wouldn't count on it).

    So my question is: what would be the best course of action to craft a decent 2h phys sword in SSF without all the options that are only available thanks to trading? For reference, this is what I'm currently using. It doesn't have to be a 1m dps weapon as some of those beauties posted here every now and then, it just have to be decent, and achievable.

    Help a newbie with his specter build, please :)

    Hey folks!

    New player here. This is my first league and after trying out a couple of different builds, I settled on the spectre summoner (currently using slave drivers). This is the only character I have managed to reach level 92 with. I was mostly doing fine with intermittent hiccups, but now it feels like I've hit a wall, and not entirely sure how to improve further without trading (I am not interested in trading at the moment and everything I currently have was self farmed/crafted) . I can do upto T14 maps comfortably but T15-T16 is dicey, and certain map mods make survival very difficult (eg. elemental weakness). This is also consistent with how far I have managed to delve so far ~150

    So, I turn to the experts and veterans to help me optimize this build.

    A few recent failings that made me come here:

    > I killed the A4 conquerors and proceeded to be completely annihilated by Sirus -_-

    > Started the A5 rotation. The only one I can kill deathless is the redeemer. Warlord takes a few tries. The Al'Hezmin fight is the most irritating one. I finished it but he kills the minions and then me. So I had to re-summon everything and come back for round two. (Any tips here?)

    > Got a map where one of the guardians was present, and ......it did not end well.

    >Got a unique map drop (a T14 twisted distant memory). Got curious, tried it and the boss basically burned through every single minion and then killed me (all in a matter of seconds) - spectre, golem, zombie and even the AG!!! Super bummed out about that AG death. Lost the 15% damage boost from the dying breath :(

    > 3 unsuccessful red blight map attempts - just don't have enough damage before pump is destroyed

    Things I am aware of but waiting for the right resources:

    1. Wand with +# to minion/spell level (don't have enough of the correct fossils/ resonators)
    2. Better boots (same as above and elder influence)
    3. +1 Specter chest (LoL): Found 4 skull delve nodes and did not get any chest.
    4. +21 Specter gem (lost 3 gems already - RNG hates me )
    5. 6 link ( have a tabula but felt too squishy when I tried it)
    6. Level 3 Empower (currently leveling this)
    7. Amulet with +# to intelligence gems (hunter influence)
    8. Respec a new AG

    That's about it from me - any help/tips/suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

    Any builds for the garbage skill called "Seismic trap"?

    Literally nobody plays it due to the poor playstyle, but I always wondered if the damage could be pumped somehow.

    I think there was like 1 guy playing it in Delirium and now most players from poe.ninja seem to put it in some random socket.

    2nd question: can this be somehow scaled with a Disintegrator staff

    Physical Damage Reduction and Damage Taken as X element.

    Hey, I was wondering if I have 90% physical damage reduction and 83 to resists, does damage taken as an element do more or less mitigation? I understand for smaller hits the pdr is prolly better but as hits get bigger and you need more and more armor to mitigate the hit. Thanks

    any ideas on improving my single target dps? Elemental Hit Slayer

    I have kind of a glass cannon EH build here. The mapping dps and clearing is great, but I would like to improve my single target if possible. I know I need to improve my bow when I get money, but if anyone sees any other quick fixes I would appreciate it. I have room for a 4 link, I was thinking maybe elemental weakness spell totem and ice golem + elemental army support on there. I've also considered War Banner but I think my mana will be too low.     Hi y'all, I was wondering if anyone had any input from their own experience or otherwise on a really solid cyclone build for end game content. I've been looking through a bunch of them and it seems like there's a decent amount of variation. Have a flexible budget of 60-70 ex, but I wouldn't mind crafting some stuff myself.

    I have some nice splody chests I'd love to use, and I'd say the main goal of the build would be shredding elder/shaper/sirus while still clearing maps at a reasonable pace and staying alive enough to reach lv95ish.

    If anyone has any wisdom to share, I would really appreciate it!! I'm fairly new so I don't really know what I'm doing with building.

    This is my attempt at making a strong non-meta build in a league where any item you can think of, you can make.

    General synergies are in Necromancer's Corpse Pact notable. COC allows us to autodetonate corpses through Asenath's and have reliable proc rate on Brands (we don't need any +1 brand notables). We almost always hit 20 stacks on penance detonations, resulting in massive chunks of damage.

    Need help with RS summoner build

    My Necro spectre build is using RS. I followed Kay's spectre guide up until a point. I can't remember why I diverted but I think I felt my survivability was lacking. I have progressed it pretty far and am running 5 spectres and a stone golem. I was running an animate guardian but he died, so i shelved him until I could figure out out a way to beef his survivability (which never happened). Switched to fortify on hit with shield charge instead of waiting for animate guardian with kingmaker.

    Damage feels ok mapping but lacking in boss fights.

    Survivability feels great mapping, but lacking on end game bosses and shaper guardian (looking at you minotaur). Sirus 6 down with 1 portal left, phase 3 is no fun for me.

    I am looking for tips on how to increase DPS and survivability. I am considering ditching Victario's shield as the power charge generation feels very inconsistent. I wonder how good a shaper shield would feel with 5% life gained on block.

    Life is a bit low while I am trying to craft my ring/belt/amulet and chaos resistance is neglible. I am hoping to add some chaos res to my chest and vermilion ring.
