I switch to power siphon for bossing (almost double the dps) but kb is far superior for clear. https://pastebin.com/MNXf2q1n (switch out mine damage for LMP and power siphon for kb)

Low life ARC Miner build PoB (nr.1 arc miner on poeninja)

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 03:48 AM PDT

    Hello,

Id like to post my PoB link before I dismantle the build as maybe other people might be interested in such a build.

First of all its a miner playstyle and the main skill and only skill used for both clearing and single target its ARC.

It requires no gem swaps as the 6L its the same for everything and its able to do all content from T1 maps all the way to T16 and end game bosses such as Uber atziri, Uber elder, Shaper, A8 Sirus and even Hall of grandmasters (tho I hate this map I do it because money lul).

Without much else to say this is the PoB as taken from poe.ninja. https://pastebin.com/8ZLM1nUZ

I currently have the highest damage for low life arc mines and the 4th highest ES currently at 8127.

    Enjoy!

    Looking for new build

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 04:48 AM PDT

    Hey all,

I league started with VD Spellslinger, took it into red maps. Clear is fantastic, but while progressing through the conquerors, I realized the play style really isn't for me. Too much stutter step and cast combined with longish boss fights did nothing for me (had a super hard time with Awakener 0 Sirus but got the kill). So I moved on to Whispering Ice Ascendant. Still working on completely optimizing my gear, but even with almost 7k ES, I feel a bit squishy from time to time. Could not finish off Sirus last night, and I realized not having multiple charges of frostblink for mobility during his last phase was awful. Dash and Flamedash are too awkward with Cyclone.

I've got about 6ex to spend right now. Any builds performing very well that can absolutely crush the rest of endgame with this budget? Bonus points if I can avoid releveling and make use of my Witch. Would prefer something that isn't max block glad, ED/Cont, or Brands. I've played all of that over the last couple leagues.

    Thanks in advance!

    Need build suggestions!

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 03:22 AM PDT

Hi! I've been playing VD spellslinger as a starter build but im lagging SO much playing it. Do you guys have any suggestions for a build that is strong but not as demanding as VD? I currently have items worth ~6ex so the build doesnt have to be on a super tight budget.

Im somewhat new to the game and so far cyclone has been my favorite build.

    State of frostblades?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 04:15 PM PDT

Love the aesthetic of this skill but have never actually played it, and it's usually not used by more than 5 or so people on the ladder that make it past 90-91 in the first few weeks of the league (From a SSF/SSFHC perspective)

Any opinions to share on the current state of frostblades? Is it viable to clear all/most content in SSF/SSFHC, and if so what ascendancies do you guys recommend? I see a ton of them and not sure which is considered the best to run amongst them, esp. in an attempt to make it more SSFHC friendly, since most ascendancies used for it (zerk, raider) are insanely squishy

Need help with my wintertide brand tree

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 02:47 AM PDT

    https://pastebin.com/tpgXRikL

This is the first time I am making my own build without following a guide. Currently I am up to T9 maps with basically pre map gear, so far its working much better than I expected.

I d be really grateful if someone could take a look at my tree and point out some improvements I could make. I feel my life will be a bit too low for red maps, but I am not quite sure what would be the best way to go about it.

Any and all tips are much appreciated!

    Ice Crash Jugg build advice

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 05:38 PM PDT

I've got a somewhat comfy Ice Crash build that I'm looking to tune up to tackle Sirus and other endgame content more efficiently. Clear is smooth at ~t13 maps, and Conquerors are safe but slow fights.

    PoB: https://pastebin.com/2VNcdyJp

    Specific questions:
    1. I'm currently working on crafting a new weapon, but unsure if I should stick to 2H maces or if another base is better.
    2. I have CWDT Cold Snap w/ Bonechill, but it might be too unreliable a setup? What's another way to eke out more damage for the build with another set of gem links?
    3. Is Leap Slam a good enough movement skill to do Sirus / Uber Elder? Should I be swapping to Dash instead?
    4. Abyssus Y/N?
    5. Unbreakable vs Unstoppable?

Any help and further tips would be much appreciated.

Good support spectres for golem build

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:59 AM PDT

Playing a carion golem build and currently using the chieftain apes that give frenzy and power charge. But honestly one of each chieftain is enough to generate charges so I'm wondering what are some other specters to use for my third one. I tried they of tul for dodge and damage reduction cloud but it just isn't consistent enough since the clouds don't move so I'd walk out of the buff real fast.

Recommendations for cheap to start but scales with investment cyclone build please.

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:56 PM PDT

Harvest has been a great league so far. I've levelled two characters to 90ish (VD/SS and spectre necro) but being the alt-a-holic I am, I'm keen to start a new build.

I'm looking for a cyclone based, fast clear with solid bossing build.

I had a look at FastAF celestial cyclone video and it looks amazing - huge investment given its a FastAF build but I'm keen to build towards it or something similar.

    Thanks for you recommendations!

Need ways to compensate big life degen on an oni-goroshi berzerker

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 03:15 PM PDT

I did a build, it has currently 611 life degen due to oni-goroshi and rite of ruin. I have enough life regen to handle one of the two effects and originally planed to survive with 1.4k of life leech. Then I realized 335 life degen is still quite much so I looked into having more life regen.

    My current ideas are :

    - Enduring cry but it doesn't last

    - Having consecrated ground often enough to compensate the degen

    - Getting more regen on tree but that needs to sacrifice a huge amount of dps

So the latter solution is good but I need consecrated ground underneath me but since I'll move a lot, that won't be the case often. I thought about gifts from above but the cooldown of the triggered skill is a bummer.

So is gifts from above a good idea ? Would purifying flame work or is the radius of the consecrated ground to small ?

Build for reference (community fork) : https://pastebin.com/RGYt7Aj7

Melee vs Ranged Skeletons w Zombies

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 05:26 PM PDT

So I have bastardized Qlidascopes' zombie build; I have a dedicated aurabot who I play with so I've replaced the auras on my chest with 6 link melee skellies.

The problem is that with so many zombies and skellies all doing melee, it seems that a decent chunk of my army just doesn't "connect" with bosses. I'm not 100% sure though since vaal skeletons seem to have pretty dumb ai and I tend to summon them as well as my regular skellies in boss fights.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and whether ranged skellies using dead reckoning is a viable solution.

What can I do to improve my build?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 11:09 PM PDT

Hi, first time making my first ever build with no guide. I'm playing Molten Strike Jugg. I league started with this (and lowkey regretted it lol) and finally hit lvl 80. (sadly havent had a lot of time to play so progression was a bit slow) The POB is what I want it to be at lvl. 95. I do plan on reaching 95 cause I played 4 builds in Delirium and am a bit tired of the 10 acts for a bit.

Anyways, what could I improve on the build as I work towards it? This was my first time using pob so Idk if I did everything correctly or if its calculating right ect. The biggest issues are I die alot (but idk if being 90+ will fix that and having the right gear) and I run out of mana quickly without the flask.

I don't want to add anymore unqiues unless its 100% needed. I'm thinking of using a ring with -7 mana cost for non-channeling skills will help the mana problem but I'm not sure yet.

Thank you if you do help!

    https://pastebin.com/zuvUG5FS

edit: I forgot to mention I need skill recommendations as-well, I'm still playing around with the new warcries (loving infernel for this build) I'm not sure how worth generals cry is (I'm using Teutonic Slam + Generals Cry) and Enduring Cry is helpful for the regen + max charges.

    Dual Wield Lacerate still viable?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 05:31 PM PDT

    Howdy Exiles,

So I've recently been thinking about making Esoro's Lacerate Gladiator; though i'm aware of the nerfs to dual wielding. My question to you guys is how badly have those dual wield nerfs hurt this build? Is anyone playing a dual wield gladiator this patch and can vouch for it?

    link to build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpi19QmCsi4

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

EQ Jugg - Mace and no bleed vs Axe + bleed endgame viability (SSF build)

    Posted: 02 Jul 2020 11:29 AM PDT

Here's my current PoB: https://pastebin.com/CHg6qDft Apart from gem levels and flask affixes, everything listed, gear included is my exact build.

Right now, I'm specced into Axe + bleeds. I have yet to get to Dirty Techniques. I need to level a couple more times and then remove Butchery to free up the required points.

It's otherwise a pretty typical slam build, running Fist of War and Seismic Cry. Initially I started out as a mace build but the attack speed felt pretty slow. My AoE was almost full screen, and the damage itself felt pretty adequate. Really liked all that AoE, but with the slow attack speed I was worried I'd wind up getting killed mid-swing once I'm into harder content, and since Leap Slam is based off of attack speed I'd have reduced mobility with an inherently slow weapon. And no, I'm not using Dash + Second Wind as a movement skill. I flat out don't care if it's suboptimal; it doesn't give me the true barbarian feel that such a build should have, IMHO.

I swapped over to axes and immediately really liked the faster base attack speed and the bleed DPS bled out most bosses pretty quickly, plus I love finally having a build that has DPS up in the millions HOWEVER - is there going to be a point where the bleeds are essentially just fake DPS inflation? I've been noticing that my damage does feel a fair bit slower against juicier Metamorphs and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm soon to hit a wall once I get into red maps. I'm sustaining T8-T10s right now. My actual hit damage is quite low; the vast, vast majority of my DPS is bleed. Tooltip is misleading I know, but it's only listed at like 11K.

So for those of you with the experience to compare both build configurations, which do you think would do better in late endgame maps - go for maces and get my damage per hit as high as I can + stack AoE, or are axes + bleed just as viable, and the only meaningful difference is a playstyle choice? I'm having a feeling that going for maces might be better since Juggs don't have any innate bleed scaling. I can get way better AoE synergy and make the most out of the ascendancy.

I'd like to add that I found Marohi Erqi (just after I respecced to axe because this game hates me), so once I can six link this thing it'll be quite a weapon. It has PAINFULLY SLOW attack speed though but the damage is just huge. I've got it 5-linked right now.
