    Help with my build plz.

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 02:05 AM PDT

    Hoiya, returning player here,

I want help making a Trickster build centred around DoT, Toxic Rain (clearing groups) & Caustic Arrow (single target, can probs be a different skill though).

I definitely don't have much currency, so something relatively cheap would be nice. The items i'm planning on using I already have or seem affordable.

Feel free to make edits and ask questions and such, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Can You Help Fix My Old MS Juggernaut?

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 06:43 PM PDT

TLDR: I took a break for a couple of years and now my Jugg feels squishy AF. What am I missing?

Hello all! So I just recently started playing again after a long break and I am looking for some assistance with one of my builds. I designed this build back in Incursion or Delve and it was a Molten Strike Juggernaut that was made to be tanky AF (Thicc Jugg Tank from Engineering Eternity). I mainly ran Uber Labs with it and I could do them back to back with no chance of ever dying it seemed like (and I am a total noob even after over 300 hours).

Long story short, some changes have happened to the game while I was away so I found an updated Tanky MS Jugg guide( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE7IY-FxceQ ) and tried to follow it. I switched out a lot of gear and redid my tree. The thing is, I have gone 0/4 in Uber labs and can't even kill some T10 map bosses. I feel super squishy. Can you help me fix my build? End goal is to be able to do Uber Labs without much fear of dying to boss man. Thanks!

What is a good skill to build around for a near Max block scion?

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 08:10 PM PDT

You might think it's shit idea but the archetype has been so tricky to build around. Tanky ass mage. The gladiator but not. The general premise is a few things, which I'll list out in a bit.

I realllly love brands after playing a stormbrand trickster last league realizing how stupidly tanky you can get with the sustain from patient Reaper and cinderswallow. What if I made a max block version of that, that relied on bone offering with true block (not half damage) to get health in sustain? All while trying to be ssf friendly, because I'm enjoying the challenge. Hell. I think last league scion archmage stormbrand was a viable thing, going necro glad as well!

    Here's the premise

    1) necro to glad ascendency picking up a ton of block due to bone offering. Absurd.

    2) trigger wand setup with bone offering, desecrate, tempest shield for a ton of block and life on block.

    3) shaper or crusader shield iirc for life gained on block. Don't have to be picky, just has to be dropped. Super easy augment if you augment life or defense for ES. You also only need an i68 shield on any base I think.

    4) Elusive is worth pathing to, since I'm picking up any source of block and picking up the brand notable near shadow starting area.

    5) debatable whether or not it'd worth it to pick up extra phys/fire/lightning conversion and getting rid of EE, but we for sure take EO! Crit is harder to gear for.

I think this will be the equivalent of a spell caster "max block glad" with the only gear requirement maybe is having a shaper shield and high life (6k+?), and the holy conquest brand notable.

I can show a PoB for this later, but I was wondering if there is a skill that screams synergy for necro corpse interaction, block, or just has absurd numbers regardless if you go trickster or chieftain or elementalist or whatever? Like I mentioned early I love the brand playstyle and will try to go penance brand for ssf. If it is truly bad I'll resort to some sort of ball lightning non crit.

I'm not trying to get anything that can tank the die beam or whatever. Just looking to experiment in PoBing a viable build based off what I think is a tricky archetype (since block is so spread out for the upper part of the passive tree compared to duelist/marauder) but scion actually offers a ton of passive points for a starved brand build, and also offers a huge defensive layer that in my opinion is worth building around. Maybe "just go vd ss" is rhe best advise for me, but really it's not the point. How do i see this guy through? I'm thinking penance could be a really interesting skill.

Shadow - Crits vs Damage over time

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 06:21 PM PDT

I want to do a shadow build but I'm unsure what direction I want to take it. I know I don't want to do mines, so I'm thinking some kind of crit assassin or damage over time trickster.

In your guys experience, which one of these do you think would be more fun? Doesn't need to be which one is more OP, what kind of play style is more interesting I guess, and any spell reccomendations to go with it would be awesome as well.

    Thanks!

Glad Max Block Facebreaker Cyclone Help or go with a new build?

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 10:03 AM PDT

I'm running along Esoro's guide to Gladiator Facebreaker Cyclone and feel like I've hit a wall. I don't know if I should work more on this or what.

    This is my build currently

I can do Simulacrum just fine but I struggle to complete a T15 Full Delirious Beyond map.

I've got 12ex liquid right now to reinvest or start with a new build.

Any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated.

    LF final build

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 09:58 AM PDT

I've never hit 36/36 before. I'm looking for a build to farm maps/Sirus to farm currency and then switch to the Challenges. Budget atm is around 20EX, so i'm looking for one that meets criteria but can also scale with currency.. (the old Ele Hit Slayer/Scion would be a build for example in the past that could do it all)

P.S. is there also one that can tank a punch (Chieftain something?), since my PC can't handle the heat and gives me 95% of my deaths due to lag!

Need some help with a Power Siphon assassin

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 07:55 AM PDT

    Hello,

I am in need of some help with my Power Siphone assassin in Standard.

I was tired of playing Harvest and decided to throw money at it but it is WEAK and after trying to tune the PoB etc I am at loss at what to do.

Does anyone have some experience and insight on what I can do to improve it?

I have something like 10 ex left (if I sell leftovers). The actual stuff cannot be sold since it was either lent to me by some friends OR I also use it in other builds when I just want to chillax and kill things.

    The PoB is here:

Thank you for your time !!!

Would like some help with my Cold DoT (Vortex + Creeping Frost) Occultist Build

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 11:38 AM PDT

So I spent the weekend trying to make a new build. I decided to go for Cold DoT. This is only the second build I've tried to make and I've never played any build close to this, so I don't really know what I'm doing.

I left some notes in the PoB, but my main worries are around the defenses of the build. I don't want to build to require a huge investment or super high character level, but it also doesn't need to do tens of millions of dps and I have no idea what tier items I can expect to get for low costs (tens of chaos per item range), especially for ES gear.

The idea at the moment is to cast Vortex on cooldown and waeve in Creeping Frost in between. I'm assuming the effects stack.

    PoB (Community Fork): https://pastebin.com/dGisp3Te

    Thank you.

    HC oriented Arc Inquisitor

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 05:14 AM PDT

Hey there, so I've been tinkering with an arc Inquisitor, and it looks solid on the defense side, 70/70 block, ES on block, ZO for that 1k ES regen and almost capped ES leech at all times with a solid 9-10k ES pool, flesh n stone yadayadayada.

While that's pretty ok, the offensive side is pretty lackluster. Do y'all have any tips on that regard? I don't think I would want to skip any of my defensive layers though.

Automate Frostbolt for Selfcast Ice Nova

    Posted: 09 Aug 2020 04:32 AM PDT

Hey, I was experimenting with the Hierophant Ice Nova archetype and was wondering what could be done to somewhat smooth out clear but especially improve single target by having less downtime to cast frostbolt.

Now, the main two ways i thought of to automate frostbolt would be Arcanist brand and spell totem, both scaling duration. For clear AB would be better because it can move on its own (maybe with scaling seeker runes?), but for single target your frostbolts start directly on the boss and move away randomly, so you only get very inconsistent dps. Spell totem would target from a fixed location, so you get all the dps for the whole travel time of the frostbolt. Ofc the more AoE you have, the less those aspects matter. Also, with spell totem you cold keep power / endurance charges from your ascendancy up during bossfights.

Are there any other clever ideas to automate frostbolt or make the combo feel smother?
