    New Subreddit Moderators!

    Hello once again Exiles!

    We started looking for new /r/pathofexile moderators some time ago, as the community has once again grown a significant amount (numbers for nerds here), and we could really use the help.

    We had a lot of really cool people apply to join the team. It took us a bit longer than normal to go through all the apps, but we're excited to welcome three new moderators to the subreddit! They've written some introductions for themselves below. (Feel free to ping them in the comments about their apps / chat with them)

    Hello, exiles! Comparatively to some of you, I'm newer to the POE community as I only truly dove into this game in 3.1 Abyss league. Generally speaking, I play a little bit of everything the game has to offer but I tend to stick mostly to softcore SSF (while failing miserably at achieving my self-set goals). A solid 90% of my time in this subreddit, outside of teaser season, is spent in the questions thread helping out whenever I'm able to. I'm a firm believer in "paying it forward", as this amazing community helped me out tremendously when I was new and asking questions left and right. I'm just happy to be in a position to help this community even more now!

    Outside of POE, I'm a high school English teacher on the east coast, avid reader, mediocre home cook, and aspiring author half-way through my first novel. The only game that exceeds my POE play time is CS:GO, but I also dabble frequently in Factorio, Valorant, and whatever new battle royale that has been released recently. Chat me up if you want to geek out and talk poetry!

    Allo, I'm Craftarc.

    Little bit of a clarification, I swapped to my old account (u/Craftarc), which I've never used on the PoE subreddit, to make my usernames across the community (Discord / Reddit) more congruent, and to keep a tidier moderation account - this is why there's so little activity on this one.

    I've been playing this game since Breach, except for Metamorph when I accidentally skipped it watching too much anime.

    Besides PoE, I also play CS:GO, Dota 2 and VALORANT. I also very much enjoy smaller games like Stardew Valley, Terraria, Starbound and Factorio. I can't wait for Witchbrook.

    Outside of gaming, my hobbies are chess and playing the piano. I've been learning both since I was 9, and now I'm 21 and a computer science undergraduate.

    I enjoy music immensely. The genre I like most is indie rock - I listen to both English and Japanese songs. I don't really have a favourite band, since the songs I love all come from Spotify's sporadic and ever-evolving recommendations based on my growing playlist.

    If I had to pick...my most adored classical music composer would be Liszt (for Un Sospiro), my favourite English band would be Young the Giant, and the Japanese band I'm most addicted to right now would have to be Lamp. Please send more recommendations my way!

    Hello there, Exiles, it's time to introduce myself. I'm Alackyr and no, no "Winds! Obey my command!" from WoW. I'm not some Elemental Lord which rule all over the skies( but if you want to, I can try).

    I don't play WoW, but PoE is another thing! I remember like I played in Torment, Perandus and Labyrinth, but after 3.0 the game really hooked me and since then I made so much builds, mostly melee, RF and channeling skills. I likes making builds when you can make mistakes, not one mb 3 in a row, so my builds have not a defense, but a solid counters to this game mechanics like crits, extra damage and ailments. When I studied how PoE can kill your character it's very interesting ) So now my school of Axe is telling: "You can't deal damage when you dead" So I prefer in PoE Boss Killing and farming Lab) Stick to trade leagues before and few times to HC, but that league i give a try to SSF and it was amazing, next want too Also I write few guides) And yeah if you more comfortable, you can call me Axe

    Fun fact, I played in other ARPG before PoE, but not in Diablo before PoE)

    Outside of PoE I like old fashioned RPG, roguelike, soulslike, tactical games and LoL, if you like make nice Dunks we can be a friends.

    For music my choice always around retrowave, synthwave and OST from films and games, ost from payday 2 is really fits in fast mapping in PoE and I really likes composer of PoE Kamil Orman-Janowski, I listen Venarius OST (Cortex music) every hard encounter.

    IRL, I'm a 24 graduated engineer, who doesn't want to be an engineer anymore) and seek something else, also geek, games, board games, dice things and comics like V-Vendetta. Alan Moore was a shock for me, since all films that I very liked was made originally by his graphic novels.

    Speaking and communicate with different people is great and I proud that I'm a part of PoE community and it's an honour to guide you guys.

    Just what the tittle says, the content package is 49 gigs on its own, please do a check up of the files and deletos whatever is not needed whenever you have time, assuming at the next major update.

    Since it's one package file that is of that size, it excludes any fuck up from my part I assume.

    I mean sure, I could reinstall myself, but it's not too much to ask to clean up any leftover garbage assets to spare us from the downtime of downloading (there's no net limiter in client, so it's going full speed essentially limiting what you can do while it's active).

    It's in the title - I think they're serious about the 900 gems. If it was any other developer I wouldn't feel the same way, but GGG consistently pulls a vizzerdrix out of their hat.

    Instead of rolling the enchantment on helmets you'll roll it on the gem itself - finally providing us with a solution to the helmet enchant grind. It also provides them with the boast that they're technically adding 900 gems.

    Hi all,

    I remember Chris talking about Tab affinities a while back and him saying that he hopes it will be in the game before 3.12.

    What are the chances we will be getting this for the next leagues launch? I don't know why but this is something I am super looking forward to. I don't know if i'm alone, but in standard leagues, I quickly get to a point where I stop picking up things, not because of their value but because I am lazy and get tired from switching between ten different tabs after each map. (i'm looking at you essences and fossils :) )

    I remembered when I read the post originally there were mixed reactions, it seems like lots of people are quite indifferent to the feature like it's something minor, or just a small QOL- but to me, it's huuuge.

    Is anyone else very hyped about that feature coming in?

    Just for reference for those who aren't aware what Tab affinities are it will let you ctrl click certain items that have a dedicated tab and they will go to the correct tab essentially how your current map tab works regardless of what tier maps you are ctrl clicking.
