Posted: 23 Aug 2020 12:01 PM PDT Mockup pastebin: https://pastebin.com/xFBRgFSr Hello, I've been playing PoE on and off since Incursion and I've only ever followed guides. Watching streamers like Mathil create their own builds almost effortlessly gives me hope in creating an okay-ish build of my own design, but I've just been sitting in PoB fork for weeks now and not actually playing the game as a result. I've wanted to give Shock Nova a try; I feel like intensify/spell echo or unleash support would work well with the ring + nova sweet spot interaction but I'm unsure of the right option. Intensify + Spell echo is obvious: pumping out more shock novas = more damage, with the downside of sitting still and being locked in the spell echo cast times. I figured an inquisitor would be great since I'm stationary while casting and would benefit from the consecrated ground buffs, and ignoring ele resists with my crits would yield good dps against bosses like Shaper and Sirus. However, Frostbolt + Ice Nova would probably be better suited for this sort of playstyle since you are only locked into the initial cast of Ice Nova. Unleash is a support I've been looking into for a while now. My thought behind unleash is to apply a large shock with the initial cast, then the "reoccurs" would have their damage boosted by the shock value. Not sure of the ascendancy on this one; probably an inquisitor still. I'd love to hear if anyone has experience with self-cast Shock Nova or has any experience playing it with totems, CoC, etc. It's a bit embarrassing with how long I've been playing that I can't come up with a good enough build on my own, so it's come to this. | Build suggestion for exit from this league. Posted: 24 Aug 2020 01:36 AM PDT hi, I want build suggestion for my last build at this league. Currently playing LL Ball Lightning Miner. Gears prettcy decent. pob tooltip says 350k avg hit but idk how much dps. I just say it is not like old miners. 20-30ex budget cycloners has better dps than mine. But this isnt problem, I killed nearly everything with this build very fast. Like insta phase shaper/coquerors etc. I want to finish challanges, at this point map tiers 6k/10k so i need to rush some maps. Need little bit clearspeed. I have 20 ex currency + 50-60 ex gear from miner. I'm bad at crafting, I know crafting but I'm unlucky. Can you suggest me anything? [link] [comments]  | ||

So I take a look of builds from poe.ninja and most people were using both seismic cry and enduring cry even though they took call to arms keystone. What I didn't understand is with call to arms they share the same cooldown so you can't use both simultaneously, so what's the point of using them both in your build? [link] [comments]  | ||

I don't mind playing either Wand or Bow. I can see people using all of the ranger ascendancies, and have also seen people using both Slayer and Champion. I'm not very good at making my own builds and have managed to confuse myself by looking at Poe.ninja. I'm going to be starting on a budget of around 10ex. Any input would be greatly appreciated! | How does frenzy / spellslinger work? Posted: 23 Aug 2020 06:56 PM PDT Ok I feel dense. I've watched a lot of videos and everyone is talking in a language I don't understand but it sounds like English. Ok a bit much but Im lost on how frenzy and spell slinger synergize. How the heck does frenzy and spell slinger work? I'm trying to set up an essence drain, contag spellslinger and it's just not clicking. I was actually doing a lot of damage when I was manually casting contag and essence drain. However, when I put each spell on its own spell slinger, then equipped frenzy, it's just not working. I thought frenzy would cast these spells, does it not? Does frenzy need to be on the wand? | Looking for a Tank build working in a group Posted: 23 Aug 2020 06:02 PM PDT Playing a character with my friends. trying to build a big wall tank, centered on rally cry/ taunt. my friends are both playing mobile high damage characters. so I don't have to worry as much about dealing damage. more of keeping the enemies off them and just soaking damage while they dish it out. most of the builds i see seem like solo tank builds. is there a good group tank build out there or is it just better to go with one of the general Juggernaut tank builds? | Crema Necro, BLHiero or BB/BF Assassin? Posted: 23 Aug 2020 12:45 PM PDT Hello, currently looking for my probably last build this league. Since I build-hopped a little bit I don't have a big budget (sitting at ~5ex atm). I've seen people recommend the Cremation build (this one: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2880759/page/1) and I also saw an interesting Ball Lightning Hiero build (here is the PoB: https://pastebin.com/4m72vvC2), for the BB/BF Build it would be this PoB: https://pastebin.com/YcJWHApE I tend to try to the BL Hiero build, but not sure if it would fit into my budget and on how tanky it is. My plan for the rest of the league is basically farm some juiced up maps/metamorphs, shaper, maybe u-elder and dig into the mines (not crazy deep, something like 400-500 depth). | Looking for end of league project Posted: 23 Aug 2020 11:06 AM PDT As title states, looking for a new build for an end of league project. I have a HH along with 30-80ex and stash tabs full if seed crafts. I am currently running a poison bv assassin with around 33mil sirus dps. I have done wildstrime this league and ed/c. I'm looking for a high end build that has amazing damage, screen clear, and I can take time to invest and craft the gear. Open to any and all suggestions, nothing is off the table for me. I was maybe thinking of an int or dex stacking build. | 3.11 Build to finish challenges Posted: 23 Aug 2020 04:23 AM PDT Hello fellow exiles, This league I was plaiyng single build - VD/DD spell slinger necro and was really happy with it! Really solid tanky build. Lately I focused more on getting 36 challenges done but for that my VD/DD necro really suck :( - main issue is with low DPS on boss encounters I still need to finish following challenges (and I dont want to buy them since I really want to achieve it by myself):
I piled up some currency (approx 100ex if I sell HH) but no clue what to play. I think build should have really good DPS but with tankiness (I went through youtube searching for boss killers and seems all builds were able to obliterate bosses like sirius but defenses were really meeh - since those stupid harvest mobs hit like road-train). I'm quite OK with dodging boss mechanics so build dont have to tank sirus beam etc but not to die from random IKs mainly during harvest (since portals there are limited). To be honest I dont have any preference (melee/carster/minions) just want get my challenges done (if I can reuse my necro or 71 shadow - but dont mind leveling new char at least I will have some act fun ;). I was looking on spectres but it seems pretty squishy. I checked similar posts here and everyone is saing that good build are now easier due to harvest crafting but I really suck at crafting (to be honest I stored every non alch/chaos scraft to horticrafting stations so have 1+1/2 quad of horticrafting strations so if there is also some good guide how to craft items for build I will probably have all crafts needed but I prefer to buy it without gambling :D So if someone can give me tip which build to play and ideally with good guide how to upgrade it to endgame it would be really great!
