    Despite all the questionable balance decisions, buggy/bloated leagues, overtuned mechanics, and nauseatingly slow drip feed of QOL changes.

    I am so grateful that I can be beyond hyped 4 times a year to play my favourite game. Thanks GGG

    You can safely ignore this post, just putting it down in writing for my own sanity.

    • Bex tweets about asking developers what they're looking forward to in the expansion. "There was variation in each person's answer but they all had one particular thing in common." Variation referencing genetic variation, and one thing in common referencing common ancestors.
    • Bex tweets about almost typing the league name many times, shortly after she released this forum post about how different PoE is compared to 10 years ago. It's not a stretch to think she may have been struggling to avoid using a phrase similar to "how much the game has evolved" both in the post and in other recent tweets.
    • Bex tweets about an "accidental combination" of gifs, referencing genetic recombination.
    • [Bit of a stretch] Bex tweets about her cat being misconstrued as having horse traits.
    • [Bit of a stretch] Bex tweets a gif of Keanu Reeves in a scene with this interaction, vaguely and grimly referencing artificial selection:
      • KR: Do you have any dishes that play with time? The concept of time?

    League predictions

    • Theme of chaotic evolution / mutation present throughout league features (based on cat/horse tweet, my guess for movie inspiration is Annihilation)
    • Gems will evolve into variants (hence 900 gems — 263 active skill gems plus 2 new variants plus 170 supports = 959 gems)
    • Players/NPCs will evolve with shapeshifting skills (hence bear facts, cat with monocle)
    • Maps will evolve using system with player-generated content similar to hideout decoration (random fun guess)
    • Bosses and enemies will evolve using novel system of player-influenced selection and evolution (core league mechanic, semi-random guess based on what I believe PoE needs to do with content moving forward)

    Please GGG implement some sore of colour blind friendly settings

    Please cater to us colour blind users, even something simple as being able to change mouse curse colour,size shape. i have asked about this multiple time on the forums and never get a response.

    i cant be the only colour blind player who has issues with certain things in the game?

    "Sacrifice a Map to gain 3 Jun Atlas Missions based on its colour" (can be replaced with Delve as well)

    I really enjoy the betrayal mechanic, but the game is really mean in handing the missions out, and this was a really good way for me to bump up how many Jun missions I could do, boooooo

    " Sacrifice a Corrupted Gem to gain 50% of the gem's total experience stored as a Facetor's Lens "

    Levelled corrupted gems are cheap, levelled awakener gems take a HECK of a lot of XP, the facetor lens was really, really useful.

    What League would you like to see revisited and redesigned?

    An old favorite, one you missed out on, or one you would change completely.

    For me it would be Incursion, I love the Atzoatl temple and how every run is a little different and picking what risks and rewards I'd be facing, and so many surprising interactions. I'd love to see more different rooms, the ability to keep customizing after 12 incursions, more dialogue for Alva, more special sacrifices... just more, really.

    How about you, what would you like to see return?

    Newbie needs help

    Most likely a stupid question, but I need some opinions so I can make a correct decision.

    Running a Toxic Rain Trickster build because I heard it's a good starter, however I came across a problem where I cannot decide whether it's better for me to equip basic 4links and make them into random rares for the time being or do I stick with "decentish" rares with less links and sockets?

    Currently in chapter 3, nearing the end of it.

    People on Reddit with bad pc, what are your secrets ?

    I have a pretty old computer(around 5 years old) I've had trouble playing since legion, and nowadays, when the game is loading, it take 2 to 5 minute for all textures to show up and after that the game is still awfully unplayable for 2 to 3 maps, i have all my graphic setting at minimum, killed all the sounds directly in the game files, for info i know the loading isn't due to a bad connection since mine is really good, i just want to know if it's still possible for me to play.

    I have 1500hours, and still want to add some more, but recently, the performance issue is kinda getting me down (my favorite builds are minion and volatile dead, which really won't work with low end pc.

    PS: sorry if i made mistake in my post, it's my first and I'm not an English native speaker

    edit: i own a 5yo COMPUTER (not a laptop) i say this because some comments talked about laptop, sry if my post made it seems like it was a laptop
