I have a lot of players waiting for challenge, so following the script is a key part of helping to as many players as I can. Please, no tips! Not only I don't need any currency, but also inventory management is a key in helping others with challenges. Every square in inventory counts! Free your inventory before coming to my HO. It's OK to have a pack of wisdom scrolls or a gem, but you need some space to swap weapons/armor. Having empty alternative weapons slots also helps a lot. Don't come naked! (PoE auto-equip feature will make it a mess. This shit works even if you have it turned off). Also you have to be at least lvl 72! Easy way to check challenges completion: "Experimental Base Types" and "Heist Enchantments" challenges will be completed fully. "Alternate Quality Experiments" - only 2 of 4. Let's assume you need All challenges. You open "challenges" window, remember challenges number - let's say 20. I trade items to you, you put them one by one. You open challenges again. If challenges number is 22 - you need to check only "Alternate Quality Experiments" (please notice that you should complete "Level gem to 20" and "Corrupt to 21" yourself). Instructions: PM ched_nono with a single phrase like "hi, need challenges". I will add you to the queue if my current party is full. It may take some time, sometimes 10-15 minutes, sometimes and hour or more. But as soon as I reply to you - you're added to the queue. Feel free to go offline - I will just skip you. Please, no more messages like "OK, thanks, nice" or any other - messages management is a second key of the process. I will message again and add you to the party when I can. A fast way to get through the 10 acts (and level to about 68-70) Posted: 28 Oct 2020 06:32 AM PDT I'm the kind of person who hates going through the acts a second (or third) time, especially since I only have ~1-2h max to play each evening. A few days ago, a friend told me about a setup to do it faster, and while this is most likely well known between the more hardcore players, it's the first time I heard about this (and nobody else I play PoE with had a clue about it either). I tried it, and had a blast. That's why I decided to share it with other "casuals" like me, that might not know yet. Three words: Hollow Palm Technique (As a side note, I'm not a guide writer, this is just how I did it and my general setup. With more currency, it can easily be improved - just see this as a baseline.) Grocery List One With Nothing (~45c) [Level ~10]: This gives you Hollow Palm Technique. A good Astramentis (~25c) [Level 20]: We want as much dex as we can get. 1x Praxis (~4c) [Level 22]: Solves all mana problems. (optional) 1x Le Heup of All (~10c) [Level 24]: Some more dex. Darkness Enthroned (~2c) + 2x dex jewels. Survival Instincts (~1a) and other dex jewels: For every jewel socket you get. Even more dex! Tabula Rasa (~8c), Wanderlust (~1c), Goldrim (~2c), Karui Ward (~1c): The usual suspects. 2-3x Quicksilver Flask (~5c each): Our speed is pretty much the only limiting factor here. In total, expect about ~80c minimum to get all the core items, and up to ~20c more for some bonus stuff. If you're rich, consider buying Seven-League Step. Skill Gems 6-Link: Smite + Ancestral Call Support + Multistrike Support + Melee Physical Damage Support + Concentrated Effect Support + Added Fire Damage Support (or any other damage type) 2-Link: Dash + Second Wind Support Everything else can be filled with Heralds / Auras / Other. With Praxis and Multistrike, mana shouldn't be an issue at all. Vitality can be a huge help during bossing as well. Notes Remember that you cannot wear anything in your weapon slots and can't wear any gloves to count as Unencumbered. Disable "equip item on pick-up" to avoid accidentally losing Unencumbered. Make sure to have an "attack in place" modifier key configured (I used Left Shift); this will help immensely during boss fights or even when clearing, as it gives us more control and "range" while dodging effects. When pathing on the skill tree, just pick the shortest way possible to a cluster jewel - usually by taking the pure attribute travel nodes. Prioritize dexterity, life, defenses and movement speed. You can always just respec everything later, once you're done. Either annoint or grab Freedom of Movement. Do your labs early, preferably before killing Kitava (first and second time, due to the lowered resistances). Izaro dies fairly quickly to Smite, bring more life flasks if you feel too squishy. Dodge first, attack later. Use the "attack in place" key to stay away from bosses and target them down from a distance. I had the tendency to be under-leveled, due to how fast I managed to run through - usually 3-4 levels below the area. Try to kill more monsters to stay closer to the area level. Remember to change the left-click behavior to "move", so that you don't get stuck in groups of enemies. Gameplay: Run around and blow everything up with one click. The damage is insane, and it actually makes going through the acts fun! Well... at least compared to before. I managed to get through the acts in under 3 hours (including shopping and setup). The first few levels can be done any way you like. The larger milestones here are level 10-12 (reaching the nearest cluster jewel), level 20 for a massive damage boost, level 22 solves all mana issues (you can usually drop your mana flask at this point) and level 38 for Multistrike. The damage (and by extension survivability) starts to fall off in act 9 and 10, but is still more than enough to get through both acts quickly. Only the last act bosses take a bit longer. Proximity shield is your biggest enemy in act 10. About the costs: While some key items seem expensive, don't forget that you can just sell them after you finish leveling. While I spent 70c for One With Nothing and Astramentis, I sold them for the exact same amount. I'm mentioning this, because 70c is a lot for me and almost stopped me from trying this out in the first place - don't. You'll likely get most of that investment back. - I hope this helps you to get through the acts faster. It's a game-changer for me, I've always struggled with finding a good way to do it in the past (usually sticking to brands). Loot from 120 T17 Zana Delirium Tropical Islands Posted: 28 Oct 2020 12:17 AM PDT Every map had was corrupted into 40+ packsize and used with Polished Breach, Harbinger and Rusted Elder, Legion Scarabs.   Watchstones were either Terror or Defender, War Among Stars, Booming Populance and Territories Unknown   Investment cost in Chaos:   Scarabs: 120x Legion = 360c 120x Breach = 400c 120x Harbinger = 180c 120x Elder = 120   Watchstones: 10x Terror bought at 70c ( 110 now) = 700c 10x War Among the Stars bought at 30 ( 40 now) 300c 8x Booming Populance 40c = 320c 7x Territories Unknown 9c = 63c   Map Device: 120x Zana Delirium 16c = 1920 120x Incursion = Lots of Boss rushes.   Sextants: -208 from Start: 70c Total: 4433 Chaos + Maps   Rewards: Got 11 Aura cluster total drop, only 2 were 6 passive. 130 other Clusters that 5:1 into 2 more 4 Passive Aura cluster. Currency after selling most stuff that will sell, not including Simulacrums.(Currency for the investment is already put out). Buying and selling... alot mostly while playing other games or watching Series. Temple: Double Corrupt: 2 ( value not included) Gem Corrupt: 1 ( value not included) Sacrifice room:2   After thoughts: I would say that I got lucky in the amount of Aura cluster drops but got the "expected" amount of 6 Passive ones. About the Watchstones im not entierly sure, as long as you still manage to reach 7 rewards you should be fine investing less into the maps wich will reflect in the amount of splinters, but getting a good layout and late Alvas has way more impact on the amount of splinters than X more packs in the map. submitted by /u/mazrr [link] [comments]

Community Racing's "Alternate Start" Race Wrap-Up, VoDs and Standings Posted: 27 Oct 2020 09:22 PM PDT Hey, everyone! The alternate start race wrapped up this past weekend and it was quite the race! Before we get started, I want to take a quick moment to thank a few folks for helping make this race a success. Thank you first and foremost to Rex, who was the primary benefactor to this race, chipping in the first $1000 USD. Additionally we had several other amazing community members donate to the prize pool, bringing the total up to $2255 USD! Thank you to Faderon who updated aspects of poe-racing in order to accommodate our race, including easily tracking teams and getting the multitwitch links set up to help viewers stay engaged. Thank you to Pertinax, who created new tool which will essentially allow us to pause time now in smaller private leagues. The tool worked flawlessly this past weekend, and as a result, we're hoping to bring back this format next league with an asynchronous Day One, which would move Day Two to a Saturday to accommodate more racers. To learn more about the premise of the Alternate Start race, you can catch up with the official forum post or the initial reddit post. I also had the opportunity to talk in detail about why I wanted to create this race, and talk about racing in general on an episode of Forever Exiled.
