GGG, Rogues should open doors when told to above all else. I do not need or want them fighting mobs.

    Posted: 05 Oct 2020 06:13 PM PDT

This is the major thing still preventing me from enjoying the league mechanic. I get to a door, my rogue is fighting some mob in the other room, and won't come open it till I kill it and then run back an extra room to fix the AI.

    So... about visibility

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 09:57 AM PDT

Heist chests should be +1 ilvl for small chests, +2 ilvl for reward rooms and +3 ilvl for grand heist heist rewards.

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 07:29 AM PDT

A massive problem with loot when the league revolves around chest drops is the ilvl, not being able to hit decent crafting bases is a very big deal, it means all enchanted/fractured/synthesised ect items you find in heist are never able to be top tier. It's an even bigger issue for the rewards at the end of grand heists, specifically the experimented bases.

PSA: If you are going for "Complete Heist Encounters IV" do NOT hit reveal all.

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 06:53 AM PDT

If you hit "Reveal Entire Wing" you will only get credit for 1 room reveal and 1 wing reveal even though it may cost 5 reveals (4 rooms and a wing for example) to reveal the entire wing.

HOGM map should be just as beachhead or cortex, in game but not on atlas

    Posted: 05 Oct 2020 02:38 PM PDT

After the patch rewards are still mediocre, some heists are still too long, doors still take a long time to open on some jobs (like demolition), people are still crashing, rogues are still not prioritizing opening doors and many other stuff...

    Posted: 05 Oct 2020 06:40 PM PDT

like lots of bugs with alternate quality gems, replica items, random performance bugs...

GGG, you went too far with this league. I usually always give you the benefit of the doubt and applaud your courage to put out lots of different mechanics even if I don't enjoy them (like Blight and Harvest, personally) with a few bugs and some changes needed, but still very playable and enjoyable. But oh, not this time.

What was the aim with 900 alternate quality gems when you're running low on time due to covid, PoE2, lockdowns, for example? We, player,s would probably enjoy a lot more having a third of that with a more polished league (I won't even say bug free or well balanced). The dream for this league was too big for what GGG was actually able to deliver. For the first time ever since I play PoE, I believe this is the only time where I'm getting more frustrated with each patch that is released, because it looks like nothing changes and more and more broken stuff appears. I'm not expecting any manifesto or anything about this tbh. I'd just love for a league to have some kind of smaller interaction, either for random loot or whatever than a whole complex system when it's obvious you guys don't have the resources or the time to polish and actually deliver a very playable version of the game at the moment. No one wants to play for 1, 2 hours a day after a busy workday and have to look at doors for 10 seconds at a time, 8 or 9 times (just as an example) in a heist and you should have been able to predict that. And you would, If you could have tested the game properly for a while. You would find it boring too I'm sure.

I'm the only one of my friends who plays PoE, and when they ask me if the new league is good to start playing I can't lie and I have to say: "kind of, but right now it's in an awful state, and it's better if you wait for the next one". But this is what I've been telling them for the past few league starts and honestly it sucks.

You probably are more pissed off than us at how the league turned out, after all the hype that you built around it. But please, please, change something that actually makes a difference if you can't change your release schedule. Find a solution, like you always do, is all I'm asking.

EDIT:I shouldn't have mentioned rewards at all because most people are focusing on that to "prove" I'm wrong, to insult me for not doing enough contracts, without noticing that besides the title I don't mention rewards anywhere else and that was not even the main point I was trying to prove with this post. Anyway, I ran a very very decent amount of contracts post-patch and I still believe the rewards are not good enough for how much engagement the mechanic has. You have to find your away around numerous bugs, crashes and general frustration of rogues not doing what they should have been doing. And to me, IMO, the rewards don't make up for how much stuff I have to deal with while doing heists, compared to lets say maps, where I can run 100 of them in a row without feeling frustrated for at least the same loot. Ence the "mediocre rewards". Not bad, not very good. You can 100% feel a different way, and that's totaly fine, because this is nothing more than an opinion. You might not be crashing and having a great time, and I feel genuinely happy that you are having a great time. But saying "Heist is fine I never crashed" or "git gud" adds nothing to this discussion.

3.12.3 - Are Heists Worth Running Post Patch?

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 01:34 AM PDT

Disable Allies cannot Die in Heists, its ENOUGH.

    Posted: 05 Oct 2020 05:15 PM PDT

I'm so sick of dying due to the massive FPS drop anytime this fucking mod appears on a mob. It's impossible to find the source when theres over 100 guards all clumped together. Its straight UN-FUN. If I die to a mob that size fair play, but Allies cannot die is just unfair to play against, you lose way too much XP dying vs gaining to justify keeping this stupid shit in heist (in the game in general) GGG, if you want to meet a middle-ground disable the mod after lockdown at the VERY least.

Introducing poeatlas.net, my new website to help you progress through the Atlas more easily!

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 11:58 AM PDT

    Introducing PoEAtlas.net!

    Hello everyone o/

Today, I'm happy to announce my new project, poeatlas.net, a website that allows you to view the entire Atlas of Worlds, and simulate socketing watchstones so it matches your current map state.

This allows you to see where all of the maps are on the atlas, even if you don't yet have them unlocked. You can also search by map tier to see all of the maps at a specific tier on the atlas? Want a list of all of the t16 maps? Simply search for tier "16", it'll show you graphically!

Note, this website is very much still in development. I'm adding new features and fixing bugs all the time. If you would like to suggest a new feature or report a bug, you can do so at the site's GitHub page.

    See the website, poeatlas.net, here.

Possible upcoming features, if people like this project:

If implemented, the features outlined below will probably require that you have a map tab, because I'm not lookin to take away from GGG's revenue.

Want to get a specific map or map tier? Simply select it and hit "go" and it will tell you fastest way to reach that goal, based on the maps and watchstones you currently have available.

Alternatively, simply activate "Atlas Progression" mode to generate the most efficient plan possible for unlocking Conquerors, Awakening levels, and higher map tiers.

What do you think of these feature ideas? Would you be interested in seeing them? Or do you have your own ideas that you'd rather see in a tool? Let me know below, or in the project's Discord server.

Hope you find this little project helpful. Good luck, exiles!

    100 x lvl82+ Lockpick contracts loot

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 07:27 AM PDT

So I decided to run 100 lvl80+ Lockpicking contracts after the patch. Wanted to buy 100 80+ contracts, but sellers mostly had 82 and 83. I think less than 10 contracts were lvl 80-81. Paid 4,5 chaos each.

Loot boosting mods I had on Karst & my trinket:
    * The Ring's cut reduced by 7%.
    * 7% Reduced travel fee.
    * 7% Reduced raising of alert level from opening chests.
    * Heist chests have a 13% chance to duplicate contained currency.
    * 14% Increased Rogue's Marker value of primary Heist target.
    * 8% Increased Quantity of items dropped in Heists.
    * 7% chance in Heists for Orbs Of Alteration to drop as Chaos Orbs instead.

I don't know if they work, just mentioning usable mods I have. Didn't go out of my way to roll anything, just spammed some alcs randomly.

Ended up with 107565 Rogue's Markers from 100 Lockpicking contracts.

It took me around 2 minutes per Heist. I only looted Currency and Fragment chests.
Only looted small chests when they literally stood on my way. They seem to be a waste of time after the patch.
Orb of Alchemy was used on every single contract. Didn't look for anything special. Rerolled Phys reflect.

    Exilence price check: 1658.7 chaos
Ofcourse I'm not able to sell all of it.
2 minutes per run comes to about 500 chaos per hour (497.6).
If you add in the cost of the contracts, it becomes 362.61 chaos per hour.
    Timed in sets of 10.

2 full Exalts were from reward chests, rest of them were shard drops.

    Picture of the loot tab

Exilence loot list is long so I'll just post 2 lists of some of the top items sorted by value and item quantity:

    Top loot by value
    Top loot by item quantity

Didn't get any "special" items to sell.
Didn't die once. XP seems decent now. Went from level 94 0% to lvl 95 25%. I only killed when opening doors. Otherwise I just ran through mobs.
    Used BV Poison Assassin.

Crashed twice when exiting the Heist. Didn't affect loot.

Nothing much more to add. Just thought it might be interesting to some of you.
    Thanks.

EDIT // added rest of the loot list: images
EDIT2 // noticed that Exilence didn't add Rogue's Markers. That would be another 3ex with current prices, which brings the total loot to
1847.7 chaos (554.31 chaos per hour).
1397.7 chaos (419.31 chaos per hour if we add in the cost of 100 Lockpicking contracts : 4,5c each).

Ran 100 heist after 3.12.3 patch to follow the one before

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 12:44 AM PDT

EDIT: new sheet with updated price and entry cost. If someone could give me info on mark cost per contract for now i estimated 300 mark per contract after looking at the price of 20 different contract.

Hello first time doing this so it will not be as good as /u/TheVictor003 :D

I hope it doesn't bother him that i used his template to write my results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ej_aBSKmCcAGQZZXxi3IA_frhJA2APozVAIVWQ2sWbQ/edit?usp=sharing

I did only contract ilvl 80-83 as soon as the patch hit i did 100 rare contracts, I was aiming for delirium orb with a lot of demolition contract but got nearly 0, got a lot of Simulacrum Splinter instead

I did Deception contract to try the no door on exit, it was with those i made the most stacked deck. It was pretty cool and fast but in the end didn't change much from the other contract with the strategy i followed since there was no doors either on the others because i practicly never reached the lockdown before exiting

My strategy is simple: enter heist; open big chest that interest me; open little chest until exit.

    build used: https://pastebin.com/S9PRbW6H

https://youtu.be/ss75_SbNtxY and a lot of synthwave that youtube chose for me after this one

Credits for the sheet and the idea goes to /u/TheVictor003

PS: if that interest people: No Bug at all (didn't try grand heist) new npc ai was cool they all follow your order and are reactive except Gianna who still hit enemies a little too much and you have to kill them for her to stop. No special stuff on my thieves only regular alc gear.
