Past leagues often had a point where it felt like GGG didn't think their idea through to the end. One personal example of ritual being awsome was me finding a 5 link that I could only defer because it was too expensive. Then loosing this to a zone that had only one ritual altar with not enough to pay the defer cost only to find an even better 5 link a few zones later. TLDR: let's all play the crap out of this patch and show GGG that 4 months are the correct choice. submitted by /u/Xacalite [link] [comments]

GGG really killed it with this league Posted: 17 Jan 2021 09:30 PM PST Been playing off and on since Metamorph, and always felt a lot of things could be done better in all leagues after Metamorph. A lot of the leagues after Meta had insane amounts of spreadsheeting and/or a lot of zoom zoom go fast into RIPs. I actively needed to force myself to do league content since it was always the most lucrative while being not as fun. In Heist league I was hyped and went for league content around Act 2. The hype wore off by the end of 5 Heists. I swore that I would go for running through the acts in the next league and ignore league content. As prep for Ritual, I watched a lot of tytykiller and PoeUni to learn speed running and practiced levelling till my best run was 4.5 hours. Once Ritual started, all this flew out of the window. It took me 14 hours to get through the Acts, since Ritual is just So. Much. Fun. It's not just Ritual, even the insane QoL like Atlas trees to customize endgame, showing sextant/atlas mods on map device, Ritual being accessible from anywhere within the map, have all contributed to making this the best league ever for me. [GGGPLZ] Since Heist is now core, can the Heist Locker have Affinities? Posted: 18 Jan 2021 08:29 AM PST So, affinities are great and make inventory sorting much easier and quicker, reducing the downtime. But the heist locker doesn't have them because it's a separate item. It would be super neat if affinities could be set with the Heist locker, and for this to be the case with future leagues that have their own storage going forward. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it's a small pain point that affinities have all but eliminated, and it feels like we might get more of these items in the future which might reduce the effectiveness of the affinity system in general. submitted by /u/Backwards_Reddit [link] [comments]
