    As someone has spent thousands of hours, $1500 in MTX, and has played PoE for over 8 years - I cannot support this game any longer. The performance this league has reached beta-tier levels with disconnects happening every other map and it is literally unplayable. Please fix your game.

    Every single league after days and days spent playing the game, with watching videos and trying to maximize farm; Everytime I try to make a build I look at the items and think how the hell did he get so much currency? Whenever I try to actually do the build it ends up as a scuffed sad lesser version of the actual build. I want to be able to kill the feared invitation comfortably consistently with having less than 30 ex budget. I want to be able to do 4 guardians invitations. This league has been fun but I just feel so.. Just.. So darn weak. Like I try to look on YouTube for people who actually do it comfy And just a single gem in their is worth my 30 ex budget or even more. I miss the game before the insane life buff that made 1m shaper damage feel like u're tickling bosses.

    A tip for SSF players who wanna gear up on Act 6 using Heist

    If you haven't done Heist's first contract that you get from Kurai (Trial Run) and you are in need of some better items you can easily farm it over and over.

    All you have to do is fail it on purpose and then you recieve it again after talking to Kurai. You can do it pretty much forever and the Markers cost of running is very low - it's like 7 markers.

    It is especially good for finding jewelry.

    My route looks like this:

    1. Enter the heist

    2. Do 1st jewelry room

    3. Collect all the small chests on the way to the 2nd jewelry room BUT leave just one (basically manage your alert meter)

    4. Open 2nd jewelry room

    5. The final small chest should be enough to trigger the alarm but you will have enough time to get back to entrance safely

    Dunno if it was common knowledge but wanted to share as it was pretty useful for me.

    Ancient Orbs and Item Level - 1.200 Ancient Orbs vs. ilvl 1 - ilvl 8 unique belts

    In the last time I've read, heard and seen a lot of people claiming very different mechanics on how ancient orbs work. After being called out several times when I said that item level does matter to an extent (I will come back to that later) and accused of spreading misinformation - even though I did actually test this myself before - I thought that I had to do some more testing and record it.

    My theory for how ancient orbs work (keep in mind that this is specifically for belts since I mainly rolled those) is as follows:

    My first assumption is that there is a basic level range that is always included in the possible outcomes. Lets take belts as an example. No matter which item level the belt is that we use ancient orbs on, all belts up to a required level of around 40 are included in the pool. No matter if the belt is item level 100 or item level 1. This is something like a base range and probably in the game so you can't easily force certain uniques (e.g. Wise Oak which requires only level 8) and to dilute the base pool.

    My second assumption is that ancient orbs furthermore have some kind of range in which they can roll uniques. This explains why it is possible to roll e.g. Soul Tether on an ilvl 42 base but - to my knowledge - excludes belts like Perseverance. (If you are unsure which belts I'm talking about you can double check here: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/List_of_unique_belts)

    My third assumption is the one that would be really hard to test and is the one that I'm not sure about. I think that ancient orbs work in a similar way to normal unique drops, which determine the rarity tier of an item first, starting from the most rare. And as far as I know back when uniques were made more common, headhunter was singled out as remaining on the old, unbuffed rarity. This could mean that in the end, all the talk about the item level specifically for headhunter might be pretty irrelevant (ignoring corruption outcomes which might be important for some people) - but it might still matter for Ryslathas and Biscos. Though like I said this would require a lot of testing.

    Back to the numbers. After I already used several hundred ancient orbs on low level belts between level 8 and 39 in the last week I was pretty much convinced that rolling on that item level excludes a lot of the high tier uniques. But since I did not record most of those and only made some clips to prove to people that you could indeed ancient orb hh's <40 (Hi @Zizaran :P ) I had no solid longer recordings.

    So I went ahead and sold a lot of my standard stuff, asked a friend of mine for some of his currency, went and farmed for some zanas and managed to pretty quickly get an infused nemesis craft. I deleveld a character to level 1 and turned in several div card sets on the way to get ilvl 1 - 8 belts. Then I bought 1200 ancient orbs and started to roll.

    This is the recording, it took quite a while since I was writing down every single belt outcome for each ancient orb. If you skim through this video it should be pretty obvious that there are only a handful of bases that are possible to ancient on those belts.

    The common ones are Meginord's Girdle (level req 8) - x103 ; Wurm's Molt (level req 8) - x171 ; Perandus Blazon (level req 16) - x72 ; The Magnate (level req 16) - x96 ; Belt of the Deceiver (level req 20) - x84 ; Bated Breath (level req 22) - x192 ; Prismweave (level req 25) - x87 ; Sunblast (level req 37) - x93

    The rare ones are Bisco's Leash (level req 30) ; Ryslatha's Coil (level req 32) ; Headhunter (level req 40).

    I got 4 Biscos's and 2 Ryslatha's before I got the first Headhunter at around 1006 ancient orbs on the ilvl 1 belt. I stopped counting afterwards and used the remaining ~200 ancient orbs and got another 3 headhunters...

    In those 1200 (and a few more I think that I still had lying around) ancient orbs I did not roll a single belt with a level requirement over 40, including extremely common belts like Immortal Flesh. This should prove that item level does indeed matter to a certain degree in which items you can roll with ancient orbs. If it increases the chance on specifically headhunter is a different question though.

    I mainly made this post to make clear that the ancient orb interactions are not as clear cut as "itemlevel does not matter" nor "it can't roll uniques higher then the itemlevel".

    My proudest Craft and how to recreate it

    This tripple elevated 6T1 Explodey Chest can be forced with Harvest-Crafting:

    1. Buy any ilvl75+ Crusader Chest
    2. Chaos Spam until you hit (9–12)% increased Intelligence and any other Crusader Mod
    3. Maven Orb and pray to hit the increased Int
    4. Buy a 6-Link 6 White Vaal Regalia ilvl85+ with Hunter Influence
    5. Chaos Spam until Spell Crit T1 and any other Hunter Mod (Its way easier with Harvest. Reroll Crit)
    6. Maven orb and pray to hit Spell Crit
    7. Now double check that you have only 1 Influence Mod on both your Chests(Increased Int +1 Gems and Elevated Spell Crit)
    8. Awakener Orb the bad Base onto the 6-Link
    9. Now there is only one Mod that can brick the Craft from here. Increased Effect of Offerings. This is the only Mod that can't be removed with Harvest or Bench Crafting. Every other Mod can be removed via Harvest "Remove"-Crafts or "Remove non-influence add influence"
    10. Remove all Mods except the 2 elevated Mods
    11. Craft 3 times "Augment Phys" to garantuee Explode Mod
    12. Remove Phys and try to hit the Reflect Mod. If you didnt hit it Augmet Phys and try again
    13. Craft "Suffixes cannot be changed" - Your two Elevated Mods are now safe from Maven Orb
    14. Maven Orb and pray to hit Explodey Mod
    15. If you didnt hit it remove the "Suffixes cannot be changed" and go back to Step 11/12 and repeat
    16. You should now have a Chest with to following Mods: Elevated Int/+Gems, Elevated Explode, Elevated Spell Crit, Suffixes cannot be changed
    17. Remove Suffixes cannot be changed and craft any Suffix
    18. Augment/Remove Defence until T1
    19. Augment Defence and pray to hit another T1. If not remove/add or remove/augment Defence
    20. Divine until happy
    21. Bench-Craft Int/Qual

    I got extremly lucky with my Maven Orbs. Only missed it once on Step 14.

    I got both ES Mods in about 10 tries. Also extremly lucky.

    Crafting Cost: about 50ex

    Without my insane Luck: could be 100+

    You can take this Method of Crafting in any Way with Explodey Chests. The important Part is to start with either Suffixes or Prefixes since thats the only way to garantuee the third elevated Mod by blocking with "Suffixes/Prefixes cannot be changed"
