| #1 lab racing run 03.03.21 - ffoD Posted: 04 Mar 2021 09:02 AM PST Hey, My name is ffoD and I'm a lab racer. I have been racing lab for about 3 years now and for the longest time I have shied away from sharing content that can and will reveal secrets / builds etc. As lab racing has become more popular as of lately, and builds have been way more standardized from people sharing builds I don't have the same issue about sharing runs anymore. However, I'm not making this video to brag about my lab racing. I'm making this video because a streamer "Path of Matth" has been vocal on his stream, questioning the legality of the runs of myself and those of Teh_Hammer(Which people are much more familiar with) The skepticism is totally warranted and I understand how people have a hard time understanding how we achieve the times we're getting. He posted this sort of in the dark and I'm gonna take the opportunity to share it. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. My #1 run yesterday:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgkgWgk1wRs As for myself I've also decided to share my rank #1 run from yesterday and hopefully that brings an end to any speculation people might have had. Notes about the run: As for my run it was in a rather rng heavy lab and I just couldn't get the rng for the perfect layout within the offerings I did. Whenever I had a good first section(8 seconds faster) it got ruined by desync(150ping)or a bad last section so I had to settle with this run where I also forgot to activate my dmg flask and my divergent berserk so I failed insta killing Izaro. More offerings would eventually net me a time around 1.53. I think this is significant to mention so people understand what's actually possible and that has nothing to do with running better, but getting the best layout. I will also take this opportunity to focus on how bad it is for the competition that the loading time is part of it. Yes I have a loading advantage over most people right now, but I still have to brute force my runs by playing on Texas with 150 ping, which isn't enjoyable. On Amsterdam where I have good ping I'm up to 10 seconds behind Teh_Hammer due to how the gateways affects your loading time as the main server is located in Dallas. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Deathless uber elder on a 70c budged. Posted: 04 Mar 2021 10:42 AM PST 73c if you include flasks which you dont really need. Wanted to make a build that can fair against lategame on a minimal budged. Landed on Mana stacking hierophant BF/BB. How unique I know. With the key mechanics being Mind over matter, agnostic and archmage of course. Build scales incredibly well with cheap rares and uniques. For a bosskiller/league start it has pretty good clear as well. Would love to hear how this could be improved on (while staying under 1 ex budged) as well as see what other builds could work on a similar budged. Read some reviews on how addicted the grind could be and how you will not be able to stop playing. I pushed the reviews off to the back of my mind. Oh boy was I wrong. Flash forward 24 hours later, already spent many hours into the game in 2 nights. I haven't even reached anything big yet but OH MY GOSH the grind is addictive. Im always compelled to reach the next level, or get passed the next zone. Not to mention the helpful community. | Does anyone else feel like Red map Rituals are detuned compared to Rituals in late acts/early maps? Posted: 04 Mar 2021 11:10 AM PST Setting aside whether you like them or not (I know ritual isn't everyone's favorite mechanic but as a slower/SSF player I am still enjoying them) I totally get the mindset of people skipping them, especially if Red map rituals actually are buggy/detuned. So as the title alludes to; I think Red map rituals are bugged to have less good incursion bases and ritual bases. Every Exalt I've found in a ritual was in lower map rituals. 90% of my "projects" tabs are below ~78 ilvl, the difference especially in Incursion jewelry and chests and new Ritual bases, and fractures or Synth implicits is like Night and day IMO, in red maps I see almost none of them and they are never good. Unlike when I was leveling more characters earlier in the league. I also have 6L's from Rituals and all are white or low yellow map ilvl. Could just be poor RNG but it feels like something is off with red map rituals. Almost like they detuned red ones because they expected you to juice the rituals there with vessels and they didn't want the spike in juice to make them too good, but they flattened the curve so hard they just made them feel shitty. This is obviously almost purely anecdotal but my projects tabs ilvl's are at least minor evidence that some curve flattening or roulette wheel thumbing is going on. Thing is in Red maps I'm averaging more tribute (due to juicing the maps themselves for drops, influence bases and map sustain) and simply having a hard time even spending it, even deferring stuff like 4 count stacks of alts, or 3 silver coins and leaving 600-800 tribute to waste. I'm buying my deferrals out faster than they are accumulating. This is also evidence in my book because at lower levels with moderately less tribute I was leaving tons of stuff like this undeferred because I felt like there was always a 2-10 stack of chaos or moderately useful div card or semi interesting Incursion jewelry (to put in the projects tab) that was worth spending tribute on.
