    First let me preface this by I'm not trying to attack GGG in anyway. I'll have to say one of the main reasons I love poe so much is it scratches my gambling itch.     I'm a gambling addict, and I'm confident I'm not the only one who plays this game.

    POE by design is gambling, almost all systems in the game is a system of chance. Risk/reward for potential huge payouts. Most are relatively harmless, but some can be dangerous to a few of us. Mtx boxes being the riskiest.

    I'm not trying to be critical of GGG here as that horse has been beaten to death on discussions about mtx and mystery boxes. Because for the vast majority of people they will never have a problem with it. But there is a subset that has huge potential to have a problem.

    I've suffered with my addiction since I was very young. I've gone to rehab twice in my life. I'm an addict, and the first rule of being an addict is what you are addicted to isn't important. Physical or mental. An addict is an addict is an addict.

    I have a rule for myself In that I don't buy any mtx boxes. Because I know one could turn into 100 in a flash.

    The point of my post is a reach out to anyone that may suspect they have an problem. If you want to talk you can pm me privately and I can be an ear for you to vent. Or offer support if you want it. I won't judge and all conversations are private and confidential.

    And it isn't about how much or how little you spend. Or how long you play. If you think there may be a problem you can reach out.

    Even if you don't want to talk to me about it. There are options you can do by contacting ggg directly. I've had private convos with them and staff is very receptive about putting restrictions on your account if you feel they are needed.

    Edit: seeing this post is being downvoted. If you don't agree with my statements it's because the post isn't targeted at you. As not everyone... not even the majority of people will ever have a gambling addiction. Just because it don't apply to you don't mean it won't apply to someone.

    Is anyone else suffering from pre-league start neural paralysis?

    I can't function normally for like a few days now, and it gets worse. I can't focus on anything at work and I constantly check Reddit and YouTube despite that I have no idea what I am looking for. And this will not end until the league start! Please someone help :D

    Edit: Many people in this thread say that this is a symptom of addiction. So if you, like me, feel the way I described in the post, you should consider consulting a specialist. I certainly will do so. I know how much better life can be after one deals with mental issues. If you are undecided, I recommend that you give it a try, it can be life-changing in a positive way.

    There was a post recently where u/xebtria posted a cheat sheet for horizon orbs. I thought it would be useful for somebody to see in game what your map can turn into if you apply Orb of Horizons onto it.

    So I wrote a small autohotkey script to do this. If anybody interested - here's a link (screenshot and instructions are also there)

    Update to the post about the disabled player allegedly getting banned over flask macros (it was probably fake)

    Someone crossposted a post from legal advice yesterday claiming disability accessibility after they were banned. I'm just posting to update anyone who may have saw it before it was removed for breaking our sub rules. The entire thing was most likely made up by someone mad over an unrelated ban.

    We can't find any record of anyone being banned under these circumstances. We'd love the reddit OP to contact us with their account name so we can see what actually caused the ban.

    PoE 3.14 Cheat Sheets (QOL Info) - New Map Tier List for each Region, Several tabs Updated!

    As some of you know, I have spent 100+ hours on this google sheet since late Betrayal league, and it's now updated to 3.14! My goal has been to help others with a hub of QOL info they might want, without cluttering it with simple general info for total beginners.

    Table of contents:

    1. Leveling - General leveling guide through the Acts.
    2. Atlas - General info for Map progression.
    3. Cluster Jewels - Obtainable notables with their effects.
    4. Oils - Anointable amulets, rings and maps recipes.
    5. Heist - Best Rogue setup with their effects.
    6. Betrayal - Max profit setup and all members.
    7. Delve - Fossil and crafting mod locations.
    8. Incursion - Favorable rooms with their effects.

    Since last patch, I have added a Map Tier List for each Region as well as updated my prefered Atlas Ascendancies. Keep in mind that these are highly subjective, I would love to get some more input from other players here so it can better reflect the general stance from patch to patch.

    I have also updated Cluster Jewels Tab with updated Notables, updated Map Modifiers available by Anointing Blighted Maps, updated Heist Tab and added preferable equipment, updated Incursion Tab with new room effects and added a new Strawpoll for what to add next (3.15).

    Take note that the Betrayal set-up probably needs to be updated when we know more about the 3.14 changes!

    **Note on Cluster Jewels and Oils section** Google sheet does not let me make a good table to search for each of them, but you can either use ctrl + F or the clunky filter function that Google sheet has.

    Hey Everyone!

    I've finished my three guides for 3.14! I'm really excited for this league and personally have no clue which build I'm going to play. I think they all suit the content really well/equally.

    My guides are all one-button builds that don't require piano-playing flasks or skill spamming. You can play with one hand and snack with the other until you need to heal. (Obviously not a good idea in HC ;-). I don't play HC myself but I have a lot of people that play my builds in HC as the guides offer very easy customization and personalization.)

    That considered, I'm a HUGE fan of looting possibilities. So none of my builds revolve around any specific type of fancy gear or mod(s). Outside of the basics (life & resists), you can use any gear you like. The whole experience, from button pressing to looting, is quite laid back. You can just pick up and play straight from the league's start and clear/complete the Atlas no matter the build you choose. The builds work well for both new players and the experienced. There's lots of freedom to personalize the builds to your preference.

    (Obviously, you need good gear to do good content but the idea is that I'm not going to marry you to certain mods or items to get there.)

    Anyway, if you give any of the builds a shot, let me know what you think in their respective threads!

    I hope you all have a great 3.14, no matter the build you're playing. (I also secretly hope you die way more than me ;-).)
