Got myself a couple ex, now it's time to push for Maven, so which build will get me there as smoothly as possible? And not just builds that are generally good at killing bosses, but I like killing bosses in one second or less. As of right now, what builds are best for this? The cheaper the better. Also, I don't care if mapping is big bad, I just want the satisfaction of deleting bosses. Any ideas? Edit: while cheaper is better, I don't need the build to be "cheap." | Carrion golem necro needs help with simulacrum Posted: 08 Jun 2021 12:17 AM PDT Hey, guys. I need some help with my carrion golem necromancer doing simulacrum runs. More precisely, I am having trouble killing mobs at a fast enough pace for higher tier reward chests - usually stopping at almost tier 6, missing about 20%. As I've heard that going from 5 to 6 is a big deal, I am trying to get that extra clear speed to consistently reach tier 6, but I am having trouble. Area of effect for minions didn't help much. I swapped Grace for Haste and it did made a difference in damage output, but the clear speed is still not enough for t6 rewards. Below is pob for my necromancer. If anyone can think of ANYTHING to improve the clear speed, I'm open to any suggestion. I do find it redonkolous the kind of clear speed is required to clear simulacrum efficiently. I mean, my character is in no way, shape or form the best, but I do believe it's clear speed is quite above average. I have about 50ex worth of currency saved for any improvements. Problem is with ultimatums, I can do them below t14 maps, but t14-16 is always sweaty and stressful. What other defences I can get as a caster? I'm not sure if lvl difference plays a big role. | I've Only Ever Loved Cyclone, What Else Should I Try? Posted: 07 Jun 2021 06:59 PM PDT I'm a relatively new player, this is my second league. I've played Cyclone twice and tried Arc and Sparks. At least for Ultimatum, I found myself dying constantly whole leveling Arc because moving between casts always felt... shitty. Having had my fill of cyclone, what else can you recommend that, at least, does not require much standing still? Movement skills, or builds that dash + cast a lot might work. Thanks for the help! | Posted: 07 Jun 2021 08:19 PM PDT I'm looking to make my third and final character of the league. Got about 65ex to burn. I've played TR raider and freezing pulse totems so far and enjoyed both. I'm currently leveling an assassin, thinking I might play a COC ice nova build (never tried COC, seems fun), but IDK if it's in my price range. Any suggestions? Bonus if they use shadow, ranger, or templar ascendancies. I don't mind putting in some time to farm up more money with the new character to fine tune it. But I'd like it to be able to at least comfortably run red maps. on the 65ex investment, with a clear path to full end game content. [link] [comments]  | ||
| PS4 - Marauder Summoner - Where to go from here? Posted: 07 Jun 2021 11:43 AM PDT I've created and have been playing a Marauder Summoner and been having a blast. I have no idea if it is even a good build, but I got through the main campaign super easily and am starting maps. I keep seeing people doing millions of damage in their builds and, since I don't trade most of the time, and don't have a lot of currency, AND I don't use guides (just a preference) I don't expect the same numbers, but I'd still like to improve. I'm at a wall for what I should be doing and how I should continue to gear up and I am ready for help. | What are some ways people avoid damage over time in the endgame? Posted: 07 Jun 2021 07:30 PM PDT Besides standard resists/armor/stacking regen, how do people avoid or mitigate degen from bosses and environment in the endgame, like baran squares or shaper beam? I figure going CI knocks out a good chunk of degen in the game which is chaos, and pantheon can get you unaffected by burning ground. there are also ways to be immune to ignite, but that doesn't account for fire degens. | Power Siphon Raider Build Help Posted: 07 Jun 2021 04:36 PM PDT I'm spent a decent amount of currency in a Shroud of the Lightless Raider and it clears maps like a breeze, however the single target damage really feels lacking for the investment I put in. Any tips on how I can up my single target or get to 100% crit chance? Maybe be also considering switching to Deadeye for mark effectiveness and buffing barrage support. | Looking for best Trapper build on a low budget. Posted: 07 Jun 2021 02:34 PM PDT As the title says, I'm looking for a cheap trapper to play. I haven't played traps in years. I want to be able to scale it to complete all encounters in the game for a "reasonable" amount of currency, and have more defenses than a wet paper sack. I am absolutely tired of random one shots and other garbage that randomly causes players to die. (I realize that some deaths like this are player error.) A reasonable amount of currency for an average player like myself I would define as something that can be started with basically nothing, and be able to do most things in the game for maybe 10ex. And if I want to do something like "The Feared," additional currency would be needed. There are just so many types of traps and it's a little overwhelming to decide which one is best. Thank you so much for any recommendations you may have. And if you feel that a different type of build fits my standards better than a trapper, please feel free to recommend that too! | Newb late to league/broke failure pleb needs build Posted: 07 Jun 2021 01:43 PM PDT Hey all! I am a newb that sucks in every conceivable way. I want to play a witch or something magicky. Preferably fire. I am just starting the league and I only play SSF hardcore in ARPGs. The only thing is I need a pretty detailed guide. I get pretty lost in the gem system and stuff unless it's laid out for me. I can use path of building already, but I like videos and a simple flow to things. It doesn't need to be able to crush endgame content and it can be janky/fun rather than pure meta. I just need to brush up on PoE and what I used to know about the game awhile back.
