- PSA to Chris: No amount of nerfs is going to make running through the campaign for the 2865927th time more fun.
- Gave it a fair shot - I don't like it. So I quit on day one
- His presents for users
- Wtf GGG removed the grace period when you enter a map leading to this.....
- All of the Expedition splinters should have been AUTOPICKUP, the same as metamorph organs. PERIOD.
- PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TELL US HOW MANY ARTIFACTS WE HAVE IN THE VENDOR MENUS
- I'm a fan of slowing down the players, but can we extend the timers for things like alva, dellerium, etc, just a tad for those of us embracing the no zoom zoom playstyle?
- I'm really trying but the game annoys me
- If this is the future of the game(PoE 2), then I have no desire to play PoE2 and I have played since Closed Beta
- Playerbase: "Can we stop with the fucking splinters already?" - GGG: "How about 20 new splinter types in one league :D"
- Am I the only that thinks these are less nerfs and more a kick in the balls for the game's QoL?
- I get gutting our damage and I actually like it. But gutting our mobility feels so bad
- PSA: you cannot vendor inside tanes lab anymore
- Can we make siosa take my orbs from my stash like all the other vendors
- Havoc on the 3.15 changes
- Just found this Vaal Side Area...quite fitting for this league!
- Playing Summon Reaper with Witch be like
- Poe has way too much shards, splinters, fragments and league currencies at this point
- MPM (rank 1 in HCSSF Expedition) one shotted in a tier 4 map at level 91
- Nerf to immunities is by far the worse thing in the game right now
- In ultimatum league we felt that we just threw a bunch of rare monsters at you, so now in expedition league we will THROW EVEN MORE monsters at you! not rares though, they give too much loot, just white mobs. enjoy.
- We had a good run together...
- Quin RIP-----
- When I realize the map has porcupines
- Veritania is in a good spot
Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:29 AM PDT There's new players and returning players. New players have sufficient difficulty in the campaign just based on the fact that they've never done it and have 1000's of mechanics to learn while playing. To returning players, particularly those who have played more than a couple leagues the campaign is never going to be interesting or exciting - it's just a tax they have to grind through before they can start enjoying what they still play the game for - build customization and perfection, endgame (rewarding) boss fights, seeing how far a new skill combo take them, etc. etc. Because of the nature of level based player and item progression there is nothing, repeat nothing rewarding from the campaign at all aside from the initial thrill of seeing new things and fighting new bosses and the story which most players experienced years ago. This is why players don't like it when you do things like increase health on mobs across the board in the campaign - it just means more of a time tax you have to play before you can get to the enjoyable content. Many builds aren't even close to being functional until you get to 60-70 levels or so where you can equip all the needed gear, meaning that every time you want to start a new build to try something non meta etc. it's back to hours of grinding through a campaign you've played dozens of times before you even get to start working on it. PoE isn't a game that is about exciting combat mechanics and about the 'challenge' of beating blue and yellow mobs, it would need an entire new engine and combat system for that (stamina, dodge moves, all that). PoE is a game about build freedom and progression. People come back because they like the idea of thinking up a cool idea (or seeing one), building it, and working on it until they get it as close to their original vision as possible. We like to try NEW things, and see how far we can go. If you want to keep an almost 10 year old game fun you don't make all the old challenges harder, make all the old content more tedious, and and make getting things you were able to get in previous leagues more of a grindy gamble fest - you make new content and challenges that push even the best players to their limits, create new chase items, new tilesets and monsters, more quality of life, more interesting unique items (that apply to more than just one type of build like the one's we're seeing this league), and more systems and mechanics that engage the player. Everything else is just seen as a time tax and added frustration (yay i now have to press a mana pot every 3 seconds in addition to everything else how engaging). Skipping this league and haven't played much since ritual which I really consider to be the peak of my enjoyment in PoE, hope it doesn't stay that way permanently. [link] [comments]
Gave it a fair shot - I don't like it. So I quit on day one Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:10 AM PDT I made it to maps. Ran some. And I really don't like all the changes. It's not the type of game I want to play. Mana feels really bad. Mobility feels bad. The "more challenging" gameplay is not fun. (By the way: Reducing all damage is the same thing as increasing all enemies life. And according to chris wilson that's bad game design ;-) ) League seems ok but very click intensive. And now all the atlas grind with this setup. No, thank you. I wish all of you, who enjoy it the way it is now, the best of luck. [link] [comments]

All of the Expedition splinters should have been AUTOPICKUP, the same as metamorph organs. PERIOD. Posted: 24 Jul 2021 01:16 AM PDT Not only do I have to stop and CLICK freaking explosives + detonate (click) it, but then I also have to CLICK the boxes and then CLICK to pick up goddamn splinters. This is insane. I am only act4 and I'm already quitting the whole expedition mechanic due to this nonsense tedium. Fuck me! [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:54 AM PDT Title says it all, i'm okay with a slower grind. Hoping it allows more unique features in PoE 2, but feels bad when my build can't keep up with the content I run into. [link] [comments]
I'm really trying but the game annoys me Posted: 24 Jul 2021 08:00 AM PDT Difficulty ramp-up is annoying to deal with throughout the acts. And I already hate the acts from the bottom of my heart. After 3000+ hours in this game, I've been losing touch with the fun ever since harvest. I got my t-shirt, labyrinth book, atlas on my wall. Yet I've not bought a single MTX for 3 leagues now. Now instead of splinters to pickup, i need to click 4 explosives, run to a detonator, click it, kill monsters (the fun part), click the splinter drops, click the chests, backtrack between chests due to delayed splinter drops. I'm at act 8 now but this might be the first time i quit before mapping. When my usual is a8 Sirus, uber elder and 3/4 90+ level builds. Soz for bitching, take it as feedback from a big fan of the game. Ps, good launch/stable and stuff that's a relief. And a few new fancy debuff icons which I like. edit: some grammar fixes [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Jul 2021 11:53 AM PDT I have played every league since Closed Beta, I have roughly 13-14k hours played. With that said, there have been multiple times where I have said to myself 'they dont know what the fuck they're doing', most of them were slight overreactions. I think we can all agree GGG does not know what they are doing with these ailment and corrupted blood changes. Sincerely hope you are preparing a huge overhaul to rewards, changes to freeze/corrupting blood flasks, because me and my 80 person guild have literally all quit already. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:30 PM PDT You know, people like to go "Nono, GGG isn't doing this on purpose, they just sometimes genuinely miss the mark". How does this even remotely not come across as straight up spiteful? People don't want to pick MORE items up, their wrists hurt, we constantly have threads BEGGING GGG to reduce the amount of clicks and here they are, giving us 20 new splinters that have no right to require manual picking up. And I know that they will be oh-so-gracious and bless us with a non-asinine solution 2 weeks down the line, but they need to reign in whoever convinces the rest of the sane staff that things need to be launched with complete disregard for the players' convenience. Edit: Come to think of it - these thingies are effectively Ritual's tribute points. You can't use them for anything other than this specialized shop (Unlike i.e. Azurite) and you earn a set amount from killing monsters in that event area (unlike i.e. Rogue's Marker)...This means they looked at Ritual and thought "You know what would be fun? If they had to pick up the tribute!!! In 20 different forms just for extra pointless faffing about!!!" [link] [comments]
Am I the only that thinks these are less nerfs and more a kick in the balls for the game's QoL? Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:41 AM PDT Im playing an ice trap and so far it deals enough damage. However, Mana feels dogshit. I have to spam my mana flask to keep up on my mana. There are also like 20 new shards to pick up and the game feels sluggish in terms of speed. Flasks feel horrible because of how little charges we get from killing mobs. [link] [comments]
I get gutting our damage and I actually like it. But gutting our mobility feels so bad Posted: 24 Jul 2021 03:55 AM PDT What GGG should gut instead is player recovery and monster damage. Make it so that we have to dodge monster attacks and if we don't manage to we survive with a bit of health that isn't so easy to regen/leech/flask. Now we deal less damage, dodge less and get one shotted if we mess up. Idk if that makes the game slower or it makes the game a slog. Having good movement abilities is what makes the gameplay smooth and fun. Having less recovery makes it more strategic. [link] [comments]

Poe has way too much shards, splinters, fragments and league currencies at this point Posted: 23 Jul 2021 08:41 PM PDT 20 new league currencies this league to clog inventory and destroy wrist health. Every one has to be clicked on twice, first to pick up second to move to locker. Noped out of the league after couple hours when I realised that's the mechanic this league. Tedium overload. Nerf to immunities is by far the worse thing in the game right now Posted: 24 Jul 2021 11:09 AM PDT It's plain and simple, the way corrupting blood, freeze, shock, ignites, poisons are currently implemented means you either remove them or you're dead. They are way overtuned for normal monsters. Sure there are going to be ways to deal with them better in a couple weeks, but in the meantime what's a new player going to do constantly getting one shot by bleeds, poisons, shocks, etc till them can get some immunity/res on their gear. It's just not fun. We've lost enough damage from gems and now we are forced to lose substantially more to do some jank pathing on the tree and trying to get immunity mods on gear. If you revert any change, please just give us old flask immunity. [link] [comments]
