    I can understand the speed in act 2 is to create some serious atmosphere, but why normal and uber atziri have to suffer from it too? It's soooo repetitive and a huge pain for SSF players.

    Edit: For clarification, I have no issues with the vaal oversoul spawn time in act 2, I only have issue with normal and uber atziri, because they are farmable contents, each run you have to wait for like 15s for vaal oversoul to spawn, for 100 run you have to wait like 1500 second which is 25 minutes waiting for nothing.

    PSA: With the new performance graphs coming up, don't be surprised if you see 100% GPU usage. It does not mean your GPU is not enough/old, you might have not capped the framerate and thus it tries to push as many frames as it possibly can, leading to 100% usage always.

    Also this is important when trying to identify what your bottleneck is, especially for older systems.

    Capping frames might also help reduce the load from your CPU and reduce overheating and throttling.

    In light of recent engine changes, GGG will no longer be making use of the "UI dump-tab" to throw in every newly implemented setting. I ask that in remembrance we look back fondly on the many haphazard features it has provided to us.

    It was there with auto-equip when we needed to save those precious few clicks upon first waking up on Twilight Strand.

    It was there when we needed to hide 3 years of accumulated remove-only stash tabs from lagging our standard characters into unplayability.

    It was there to provide key pickup, even though that really seems like it belongs in the input section.

    It was there to enable level-downscaling so that playing with friends who joined the league late wasn't a horrendous experience for everyone involved.

    It was there to disable screen shake.

    Rest in peace UI dump-tab. May you forever more show mini life bars on enemies.

    My journey to Lvl 90 in hardcore

    For Ultimatum league I made my goal to reach level 90 in hardcore. I like to play hardcore but can only commit a few hours a week, so my characters take a long time to develop and when I lose one it can be quite devastating. I knew my schedule would be strict through Ultimatum while I finished my practicum year of university, but I was up for the challenge.

    I followed ShakCentral's Vortex for Everyone guide.

    I picked this one because it did not require any uniques to be functional and my goal was to achieve lvl 90 through SSF. All characters I made followed the same guide.

    I've detailed my journey and things I learned below:

    1st death

    I survived launch day which was more of a feat than hitting level 90. On day two I was running an ultimatum, I selected my reward and then the game froze. I quickly hit my logout macro, but I was dead upon logging back in. Lvl 42

    2nd death

    I was pushing content too fast without regard for minimal gearing. I died at lvl 21 pushing ultimatum beyond what my char was capable of. I knew it was risky to continue and I regretted not being more careful immediately after I died. I decided I would only interact with Ultimatum when I wanted to overlevel before a boss.

    3rd death

    I died almost instantly doing an incursion at lvl 56. I am assuming incursions are the first major introduction of chaos damage because I shouldn't have died that quickly. Vowed to not do an incursion for the rest of the challenge.

    4th death

    At lvl 64 - died to that melee boss in refinery, I stopped moving and he hit three times in a row. This was the best character I had put together. I got excited hitting Aquaducts and then wanted to push ossuary fast so I could start farming. I had this boss to 5% hp and just stood still casting creeping frost instead of running around using vortex. Laziness. Sad. Deserved to die. Note to self: KEEP MOVING ALWAYS.

    5th death

    At lvl 65 I died to a frozen chest with flasks down, couldn't smash logout button fast enough. This one hurt. Tabula and at 30% chaos resist with 4k ehp. Will try again but may need a break.

    6th death

    I took a week break and tried again. This time died at lvl 64 farming blood aquaducts while watching a video. I suck. Why was I farming BA you may ask? I don't know. No idea. I know it is more dangerous than other zones, but yet there I was and there I lay.

    7th death

    Died at lvl 77 to Lord of the Grey. I had great gear and was working towards CI. This made me realize the immense amount of grinding I have to do to get lvl 90. I realized that SSF HC is a whole different beast because I used up all of my currency and had stuff that wouldn't even sell for 1C in trade league. I was saddened by this death and I decided to give up on my goal.

    8th death

    I was watching the gauntlet race and after a three week break I thought it would be fun to give it a try and see how far I could get with all of the new knowledge I've obtained from running a vortex occultist. I made it to lvl 25 before dying to ultimatum farming trying to overlevel in the starting zone of act 3. Too arrogant.

    9th death

    I died at lvl 46 gauntlet. My son was waking up in the night and I died while running through story content while looking at the baby monitor. I know better and it was sad to lose this character to being mindless, but this run made me think I could hit level 90 in HC trade.

    10th death TBD

    I migrated all of my remaining currency and gear to HC trade and created HCLellyVortexTen. A perfectly fitting name, if I don't say so myself. I took my time progressing through the story and I ended up farming Ossuary for around 5 hours before buying/crafting items to transfer into CI. I ended up spending half of my currency on items that were integral to my build (6l chest that I crafted, jewelry with attributes, boots with movespeed). The rest of my currency I wasted on crafting ES gear. I transferred to CI with 4400 ES at level 80. It wasn't a lot but I felt safer with CI because chaos damage was the only thing that was giving me butthole clenching moments. I ran magic white maps until level 85 where I noticed things were slowing down drastically. White maps would get me around 1-1.5% of a level. I didn't want to take 3 years to make it to level 90 so I started pushing yellow maps. I stuck to tier 8 and below because I felt 100% safe even in the thickest of thick doing ultimatums. A few nights I would stop playing if I noticed I wasn't paying attention. That was hard to do because I wanted to keep progressing toward the goal, but I simply couldn't allow myself to play while I was that absent-minded. As I approached level 88 I went back to trade to try to upgrade the rest of my gear. I finally ended with around 7000 ES. I sacrificed some damage to get a bit more survivability. I pushed to level 89 doing a combination of delve and yellow maps. I leveled to 90 doing only white maps, which took me about 3 hours or so. I honestly can't believe I made it here.

    TL/DR;

    As you can see all my deaths were due to lag or performance issues, none of them were my fault.

    I found the game to be more fun for me this league because I was chasing a goal. I have learned a great deal about defensive mechanics and building a character through the story in preparation for mapping.

    If you haven't tried to hit lvl 90 in Hardcore mode, I highly suggest you give it a shot! You'll learn a lot about the game and you might even surprise yourself with what you're capable of!

    GGG - Why after 3+ Years is there no portrait mtx? Why is the box there?

    Is it against your design philosophy or something to let us change our character portraits? (but frames are ok?)

    Why have the box there then.

    For multiple years.

    EMPTY.

    As a small whale it bothers me that it doesn't sparkle and shine like my other boxes .

    Do you not like my money ??

    (also there is the weapon effect box that only has the one option. where is my celestial/etc gore effects yo?)

    MTX shop feedback

    Poe has been my favorite and most played game ever since I started playing it, and so I have bought almost every support packs regardless of how well the league did. But I have found spending the points I bought a relatively confusing and frustrating experience, so here's my feedback.

    1. Adding a confirmation button after clicking the buy button.

    Most mtx in poe are expensive, ranging from $10 for a weapon effect to sometimes $84 for a whole armor set. I think adding a confirmation button will help the players spend the points they already bought more efficiently. Being able to miss-click and buy mtx the player might not necessarily want to buy is not a good experience.

    1. Video showcase

    This is mostly about weapon skins. Newer weapon skin like misery weapon skin applies to various kinds of weapons, but their showcasing videos usually doesn't tell you which forms applies to which weapons. Experienced players know how each character holds each weapon and can deduct which is which. I feel that is needlessly confusing, and an easy solution is adding sub titles to the showcasing videos, clarifying which specific weapon types are showcased.

    There are other issues like in-game mtx preview, a more standardized pricing, but I feel their solutions won't come in the near future so I will not go into the details.

    I like the though content that 100% delirious maps represent so I'd like to be able to run some and still make a somewhat decent profit out of it.

    Is it even possible after the fractured fossil nerf ? If so, what would be the ideal juicy setup for maximum profit ?

    MTX Set / Quick save - QOL plz

    It would be great it we had a few "quick save slots" for full gear/skill MTX layouts. There are a few I built up and have to save a screenshot to remember the combos.

    Could be another paid microtransaction for additional slots. Just saying. :)

    Anyone else wanting this too, or just me?

    Also, I just realized the green buttons are not centered with each other on the bottom... xD

    Help guide me to craft a +3 minion unset ring

    I can use some help with this. Im a noob crafter trying to jump into the fire with the likes of a +3 to socketed skills unset ring with minion dmg , str, chaos res, and +1 min endurance charges benched in. Is the best way to spam bound fossiles to get the +3 skills and minion dmg at the same time? And if I do get that, how do I best remove unwanted prefix/suffix to get chaos and str. Thank you my fellow poe peeps.

    Hello,

    if you want to farm ritual, is it ok to run 4 watchstone with rerolling costs less favour, so you have better chance if you see something good to be able to defer it and then change watchstone with monsters give more favour so you can actually buy it?

    And is there a chance to be given an item after reroll that you can not defer?

    Can we finally get Omen on the Winds reworked?

    It is basically the only threshold jewel which mechanically completely changes the skill FOR THE WORSE.

    GGG please change +3 pierce into +1 Chain or something DPS related. Nobody wants their Ice Shots (which is an AoE skill) to pierce as it is a direct skill-mechanic DRAWBACK.

    To better depict into - it would be like the equivalent of having an Earthquake Aftershock explode half a screen away where you initially hit or something absurd like that..
