    Mostly i and my friend are fine with slowing pace of the gameplay, but almost all previous content literally forces us to as fast as possible while maintaing sufficient DPS and surviveability because if you not - you lose encounter.

    Removing timers allow you slowing the game without causing outrage.

    (Not a flame / criticism post) Literally nobody in my guild of 30 people is online. At week 1 literally everyone is usually playing. How is it looking for you guys?

    I just logged in after quitting soon after reaching mapping, just to see if some spark would happen to make me want to continue playing (spoiler alert: it didn't happen).

    And literally nobody is online. This has never happened, not for any of the past league changes where people were complaining about the game being worse off after some kind of controversial change, or after some bad league starts.

    I'm surprised that the league apparently only has ~20% less players. Maybe I'm just in a weird sample of people that is likelier to quit.

    If Ultimatum was "too rewarding" then Expedition isn't rewarding enough.

    Title. Both excavated chests and runic monsters don't feel rewarding at all. Reroll currency is scarce outside of Gwennen but that's luckily getting looked at already.

    We all know that the GGG development cycle goes up to the 11th hour, and that we're the true beta testers.

    So with that in mind, when a new item/skill/change is put out that's woefully underperforming, it's nice to see it get touched up mid league.

    I skipped last league (I know rough league to come back on, etc, etc), however we are now able to sustain 2-3 people easily with much less freezing and graphic dips than previously. We have one person playing on a potato pc (don't tell him, he get's emotional when it's brought up), who used to have his game crash every other time the syndicate appeared. And now we can actually do syndicate content.

    GGG has been getting a lot of feedback (maybe not in the best format), so I just want to say that i'm happy we are truly getting these QoL performance updates. GG, GGG.

    Just had a thought, why is there so much text and so few icons for in-world mods?

    So, in POE we have a lot of mods, mods on monsters, mods on maps, mods on league-content.

    Looking in retrospect on how the mods for ultimatum were handled in comparison to how mods this league are handled, it seems to be a step backwards.

    In Ultimatum when you chose mods for a round you had these little icons. You read them once or twice, maybe a couple more times, but after that, you could tell what a mod would do, simply by glancing at the icon. This made chosing a mod relatively easy and fast.

    This league, we have to read multiple lines of text to efficiently play "connect the dots".

    So why is it that this can't be displayed as icons ultimatum-style? Why not expand this to map-mods or the mods of rare-enemies?

    2 logbooks from acts, 4 from quarries, two chars 90+ in reds, zero map logbooks

    I've got 2 logbooks while leveling in acts. I've got 4 logbooks from about 60 quarries. I've got 0 logbooks from 300+ maps. Last one I rolled a t11 red with 130+ quant, triple additional chance to drop logbooks on first two explosions and 16 total big or bigger runic skulls. Still zero logbooks. This league might as well not exist. The currency trading is not worth it alone.

    Pantheon Upgrade (Soul of the Brine King) Oversight

    Since i learned it the hard way today, i wanted to give you guys a heads-up.

    If you want to upgrade "Soul of the Brine King" the first time for the 30% inc. Stun and Block Recovery, you have to kill Otesha, The Giantslayer.
    This Mob is found in the Iceberg-Map, all fine. Until i got nothing back after finishing the map.
    As stated in the Wiki, there are 3 possible Bosses.
    So you have a 1/3 chance to get the upgrade, else you waste a map and a vessel.

    This is super annoying and i still didn't get my upgrade =(

    Dementophobia creation story and all influences of its creation

    I've decided now that we are almost a week into the league, and the location of my div card drop has been essentially figured out, it's time I'll come forward and talk about my div card Dementophobia.

    The inspiration for the name:

    Delirium was my favorite league thus far, and I've been playing since talisman league. Since I was in my early teens, I've suffered with depression, and now I'm 30 years old, (29 at the time of submission). The whole idea of delirium and being so focused on depression and insanity hit hard for me, and from previous conversations others too. The idea for the name was after I realized naming a card after a fear would be quite awesome, especially for something like this. Dementophobia, which means fear of madness or insanity, seemed like a very appropriate name for the card.

    The reward:

    Originally, the reward I requested was a Voices jewel, but sadly Luminous Trove had been submitted before Dementophobia. When GGG got back to me with that news, I knew I needed an alternative that was very related to delirium that also offered a good reward. I wanted to do a stack of 10 Simulacrums, but sadly they don't stack, so it wasn't an option. The next best thing was 10 random delirium orbs, and so therefore, that's what I went with and it got approved.

    The artwork:

    I've received already many compliments regarding the artwork, and while it was my idea, I'm not technically the one who designed it, they did. I told them what I wanted, and they simply created it. I told them I wanted the character to be surrounded by all 3 delirium bosses and you can see them taunting the character and the character screaming in pain. I'm very happy with how it turned out, even if I imagined it a little differently.

    The flavor text:

    I imagine people have had questions regarding the flavor text, and I've already responded to a few people on the website, discord, and in Empy's stream as well.

    "I never truly understood the depths of my insanity, until I realized the voices beckoning me towards the abyss, were none other than my own."

    The idea behind the flavor text was a throwback to my own depression once again, and how much I loved the voice lines in delirium. Tangmazu had some seriously beautiful voice lines, and my favorite is from round 12 of Simulacrum, which was,

    "Do you not wonder what tugs at the strings of fate, what stands astride the abyss and beckons you to fall."

    It somewhat inspired the flavor text, but the idea for the flavor text was mostly due to wanting that voice beckoning you towards the abyss to be none other than your own.

    If y'all have any questions regarding the card, please feel free to ask. I've been a slight bit indisposed since a health scare Saturday after having a seizure and dislocating and fracturing both shoulders, but I'm on the road to recovery and hopefully I'll be able to get back to it soon.

    I actually like the idea behind the Expedition mechanic and take the time to try and plan them properly, but just like Synthesis I am growing to dislike it simply due how to unrewarding it is

    It is super disheartening to take the time to scout and plan out the Expedition mechanic (in maps) only for it to consistently drop almost nothing, especially since I can then walk over to almost any other league mechanic and get far more rewards.

    I know it's not for everyone, but I actually don't mind taking the time to look around and plan a path to get optimal rewards, but with it time and time again dropping very little I have started skipping many of the encounters.

    Filter and Styleversions

    Higher strictness filters more items. The general rule is that: the faster you are, the less you want to pick up, because in the time you'd take care of a higher quantity of items, you can kill more monsters and get a higher chance at expensive loot and experience. You can start with Regular/Semi-Strict first (great for new players and leagues) and simply up the strictness from the option menu, once you feel like you want to see less.

    *Styles have no effect on how strict the filter is, but change the visual and audio configuration. Find one that pleases your eye most or make your own on https://www.filterblade.xyz .
