I'm pretty new to POE builds but I was thinking curse on vuln rings, Ryslatha's coil, gem level on amulet and chest and better axe. I would love some suggestion on how to best scale damage and maybe get some more leech. I have also heard cruelty support is a good but on POB deadly ailments seems much better. Thanks in advance! | Posted: 21 Aug 2021 06:52 PM PDT Clickbait title for obvious reasons. So here I am trying to optimize COC triggers for a very specific setup (2 spell trigger + barrage) and the problem I'm finding so far is that... There's no one resource available for this specific trigger interaction that elaborates on what is an ideal APS to have. It varies too much with number of projectiles, with Barrage's inherent 60%/40% attack time split. I think I might have to actually compute this myself and figure out an optimal APS. But in the time being here's the available resources I've managed to search for (almost all of them a couple of years old) and if anyone is willing to engage in a headache inducing problem do chime in with input. | Posted: 22 Aug 2021 04:01 AM PDT Hey, so recently i started playing molten strike juggernaut and the build guide i used had 3 feed the fury clusters. He had leeching ticked so i did the same and eventually i got 3 clusters with feed the fury, however i started wondering if i was actually leeching most of the time, so i searched around and found different answers. Some people where saying that as long as you have blood rage you are pretty much always leeching because of the degen while others said that you would get max life after every hit so feed the fury would never have uptime. Currently i am using a glorious vanity with ahuana to get overleech beacuse i am unsure but it would be a huge dps boost if i could drop it. If anyone knows how this works please explain it to me. Im not use which minion should i use as 6l. Currently im using carrion-golems+zombies but the damage doesnt feel so great. I want to buy an awak. generosity to link with hatred + haste + precision if my mana can sustain it. (maybe i need to swap cluster jewel to have -30 red on haste). Im thinking on using a chaos golem too to improve the defense of my char but then i'll have only two carrion golem. So the question is what can i do to improve this build? | Replica Iron Commander - Is it worth it? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 12:07 AM PDT Hey everyone, So I got pretty lucky (I guess?) and got a 6L Replica Iron Commander from Heist in SSF. While the bow doesn't need to be 6L, I thought it might free up the chest for a Kaoms or something else. I started thinking around ways to build this but honestly, I just cant seem to get any DPS out of it, is it just inherently poor? I thought that a Str stacking Chieftain with fire conversion could be solid but its very lacklustre in my PoB theorycraft. Looking at other builds that use this, it was either used before the fork bug was patched out or its a variation using Iron Fortress, Crown of Eyes shenanigans. But even then, the DPS seems pretty poor (unless this Shrapnel Ballista unusually looks low?) When I got it I thought it might be something pretty cool I could try and farm & craft gear for and make a nice little niche build, but unfortunately, it just seems pretty bad across the board. | Hungry Loop to enable Bane & Arcane Surge on ED/Contagion build Posted: 21 Aug 2021 07:43 PM PDT Was trying to think of ways to get Bane + despair + enfeeble on my Trickster ED/C build, and came across the hungry loop ring that was deemed unfit for anything but summoner builds via a quick glance on reddit. Currently: Helm: Vaal blight, Void Manipulation, Swift Affliction, Infused Channelling Body: ED, Controlled Destruction, Swift Affliction, Void Manipulation, Energy Leech, Efficacy Gloves: Flame Dash, Malevolence, Discipline, Despair Boots: CWDT, Immortal Call, Cold Snap, Tempest Shield Wand: Contagion, Increased AoE, Intensify Shield: Shield Charge, Fortify, Faster Attacks Long story short; Would it be worth feeding a Hungry Loop some support gems for my vaal blight setup (+efficacy or controlled destruction maybe) to free up a 4 slot on my helm, which I could then add an arcane surge to my contagion link and place there? That would then free up the three slots on my wand to get bane + enfeeble + despair, consequently having to allocate Whispers of Doom on the tree (only three points). I am SSF so forgive my shit gear, but I will have to get another few percentages of lightning and cold res to get back to res cap on other gear, plus Str and Dex to equip other gear (although temp solution could be to grab Str/Dex nodes). Other than that, I think I am essentially trading some ES and DoT DPS for much more Total DPS. Am I missing something? Is this worth the effort? Is there anything else in my build that looks noobish? This is on a 70ex budget, but 30ex is quality of life stuff like overlord cluster and elevated boots for around 30-40ex (which you dont need but they are nice) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb-gm4rHjN0 Why should you play this build? Its a really good allrounder.Really good mapper, really good bosser. (not the best at either)Scales very well with investments.You can start it as early as progression through the campaign if you want but it can be rough.Mortem morsu-CI-allcritnodes-critflask-precision 80%hit/80%crit, can be achived at lvl 50.Its really tanky so you dont get oneshot all the time which is nice. The upgrade to 52% CDR + 10 APS is huge! 33% more dmg. Any tips on how this build can be upgraded further are highly appritiated. Firstly, I have seen Jungroans video for EoW spellslinger, and while it looks pretty nice, here are the things I worry about: He mentions a 25ex budget He has below 6k ES, yes it's lowlife, but that still feels scuffed to me, for that level of investment. It assumes lowlife straight off the bat. I would love to see someone do a reasonable guide/POB setup with maybe a fresh 70 setup (tabula, life based etc.), a lvl 90 for maybe 5-10 ex and then ofc. knowing where to go later if I enjoy it enough. I have - like it seems many others have - jumped from one build to another struggling to find something I truly enjoy this league. A mixture of freeze feeling much more common in maps along with stuns being seemingly more frequent, along with many jumps between builds trying to find something I enjoy enough to play it consistently for multiple days. Along with this I prefer to be block capped on my builds, which also feels like it limits me to either travel quite a bit in the tree, or play gladiator, which while being totally doable is for sure a concern to deal with. Finally, none of the new skills really felt like something I cared to play, I had high hopes for absolution, but it don't seem to quite be there yet, and then EoW which I have put off quite a bit hoping to see someone make a fairly leaguestarter friendly guide for it, that is also testet and not changed massively to work. Anyway, if anyone has some PoBs or characters they can link me, that uses low investment to do EoW, don't need to be under 100c, but also don't want to look at 10 ex builds, as I just want try the skill without spending everything on it, if I don't like it and end up having to resell gear AGAIN in a few days, cause it seems I on average lose 20% of my currency every couple days from that alone.
