    Holy Relic Guardian

    Posted: 20 Sep 2021 03:07 AM PDT

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbuwClkSWzI&t=10s The video was recorded on lvl 95 before i got the aspect of the spider

    PoB: https://pastebin.com/XM1Q1BSE
    Poe ninja: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/RJDioLLC/Mjolnir_Salad?i=0&search=skill%3DSummon-Holy-Relic%26sort%3Dlife

This is the first league i seriously tried to get into bossing, Sirus specifically, and i actually succeded, even though i expected more problems with the build. Holy relic (cyclone really) is a joy to play:

    • very tanky: 9k+ hp, 3 min end charges, permanent fortify, decent attack and ok-ish spell block, ~20% hp regen and extra 40% every 4 seconds, curse immunity and less damage taken from crits
    • smooth cyclone gameplay with stampede boots and a free flask slot instead of quicksilver
    • Surpsrisingly decent damage with low investment, with my setup using enhance with Divergent relic quality, relic hits 4.33 times per second with ~550k per hit (and does not require a lot of optimizing of your attack speed, you only need 11% inc AS to get the best out of it), so with 2 relics it's about ~5m sirus dps. Considering the investment in the actual damage (pretty much staff and +1 int gem amulet) it's very good in my estimation, i invested mostly in the survivability (hate dying)

There are some problems tho of course like:

    • Lack of ailment immunity
    • Very socket-starved, i don't even use CWDT immortal call with my 3 end charges
    • Can't really scale damage past 5m without sacrificing a lot of survivability and pretty much changing the whole build

I can still squeeze a bit more damage with Bottled Faith, but i'm still a bit short on currency.

Also why i use enhance instead of a meat shield, mostly because it gives ~30% more dmg and requires MUCH less tinkering and optimizing attack speed for relic triggers. Yes i could get 36% more damage via meat shield instead of 30% i get from enhance and give holy relic more survivability, but it will require a lot of changes to get 6.66 AS instead of 4.33, like getting onslaught on bosses and using blood rage (losing the only sustaing we have, life regen) so i chose to stick with the enhance and i think it worked out nicely.

Overall i'm very happy with the build, and it's my first time getting to level 97, first time beating Sirus, first time beating sirus without dying etc etc.

So I just tried to make my own build for the first time... Help pls D:

    Posted: 20 Sep 2021 01:08 AM PDT

So I'm trying to make a build that combines totem playstyle for bosses, with the zoomyness and fast clear ability of a lightning arrow raider, AND a decent amount of HP (Was really hoping for 7k+). I figured the best way to do this would be ice shot ballista totems, then stacking cold with lightning arrow for the clear. If anyone has any better ideas, I don't mind starting from scratch, changing skills, gear, etc :P

So I went into a fresh PoB with that in mind... Tried to pick up a few totem skills and all the HP nodes I could find, gave up 4 sockets for small fettle clusters, and crafted what would be a full set of mirror tier gear just to see the maximum potential of the build.

The result... Mediocre damage, only 3k life (Really have no clue how or why it's this low)... But at least I (think) I got the zoomy part down. I didn't finish the skills (Still have to put something in helm and boots) but the gear, tree, and main skills are complete. Helm and boots will likely be some sort of movement ability and some sort of debuffs.

    PoB: https://pastebin.com/MxnS2R3W

Any help would be appreciated, only been playing since a few weeks before Ultimatium ended and this is my first attempt to actually make my own build from scratch so knowing exactly where everything went so horrbily, horribly wrong would be appreciated :D

Edit: Whelp, thanks to me posting in TFT and noticing the bot said it was a level 1 ranger I figured out why the HP is so low... 6.6k HP after changing it to level 100 haha, that's much better. But would still like someone to go through and look at the build to see what I could do better if possible :) More life/EHP/Damage mitigation would be great, especially if I could figure out how to add endurance charges to the build since getting my int req and capped res is gonna be hard af :D

How to incrementally craft melee weapons in SSF?

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 04:21 PM PDT

My favourite way to play the game is SSF and strike skills. I know they are the worst but I just have most of my fun with them. I don't know how to craft weapons for them though which has kept me limited to trade. I've put together my own dual strike build I'd like to try in SSF because I want to learn and get better at the game and making my own builds. The only thing putting me off is knowing I need to constantly upgrade my weapons and I don't know the best way to go about that.

I was hoping somebody wouldn't mind explaining the general route you go when trying to craft melee weapons in SSF. I don't mean just an end game weapon, but also some intermediate ones too. My build will be wanting phys/crit/attack speed, but I'm also interested in melee weapons you might use for an elemental damage build or such. Just wanting to learn :)

Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to help!

Is a summon reaper + Arakalis fang build viable?

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 09:43 AM PDT

So I'm not a theory crafter by any means but I was looking at a new build to play and thought about and Arakalis fang + HOAG armour stacking guardian which is very Tanky but traditionally doesn't have the best single target, I'm wondering if it's possible to add summon reaper into the build for single target whether it's replacing HoAg or just additionally, my thought is they both scale DOT and summon reaper wouldn't consume the spiders. Also the spiders would take care of clear where summon reaper sucks. I'm not sure how viable summon reaper is in the first place however or if this would work at all but I just wanted to get some opinions.

Cannot say on budget, but relatively cheap Reap CoC Aurastacker - test

Cannot say on budget, but relatively cheap Reap CoC Aurastacker - test

Obviously it is a bit squishier than the traditional selfcast aurastackers; there is a minimum investment required to actually operate aurastacking build, and this build too cannot escape from the traditional gear setup.

but i can assure you that dps wise, and defensive wise vs. mediocre aurastackers or other builds, this can crush (the video below is only 60% complete, just using my old aurastacking gears.

For instance, 3 crit multi + 1es mod rare jewels cost around 50~60ex each.

The build's total cost for rare jewels = less then 10ex

A9 Sirus - you can see that the skill does not cast repeatedly because the build is partially complete; but I still skip phase.

    vs. A9 Hydra

I hope the market is still alive to let me finish off this build...xP

CoC with triggering skills that do not have consistent APS?

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 10:08 AM PDT

Edit: title should really be hits per second rather than attacks per second.

So like CoC with Cyclone feels pretty well worked out. You need a certain attack speed with 100% crit chance for a certain skill cooldown reduction for max DPS, and attacking faster can actually reduce your DPS. EZ PZ lemon squeezy.

What about when you trigger CoC with skills like Barrage or Lancing Steel that have less consistent APS? Is this well worked out? Is there good theorycrafting around what an ideal hit rate is? Is there a point where you get so many hits per second that you don't need to worry about it as much?

    SST too squishy?

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 12:05 PM PDT

Feel like I should be tankier than I am- 142k effective hit pool, capped res, decent block/dodge... but I keep getting one-shotted in T16 maps. Am I missing something that I need to fix or just kinda how it is these days?

Help with assassin CoC ice nova build

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 11:31 AM PDT

So I'm currently trying to follow this guide, but I'm struggling to find the balance between enough ES and crit strike chance. My current build is here: https://pastebin.com/gt0Nt3it

The required uniques are the following:

    Weapons:

    • Cospri's Malice
    • Circle of Fear

    Jewels:

    • Frozen trail
    • Militant Faith

The rest is optional, but with a focus of getting to around 95% crit chance, and high ES number. I'm currently working on replacing my chest with a 6-link vaal regalia with a higher ES rating, but similar resistances, just looking for the 6 socket recipe, and then spam fusings.

    Any pointers would be wonderful!

Help fix my build? Standard cyclone

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 08:09 AM PDT

Hello i was mostly a casual player and i started to follow "furty" ultimate cyclone build

I ended up with this... https://pastebin.com/weDJgEVf

Yeah i get it he has some insane items for increasing DPS but the difference is WAY to big that i don't know where to put my hands into...

While he can do almost every content in the game i struggle even in a slightly buffed map

His average DMG is over 200k while mine is around 13k... :(

I still have my tree reset, so i thought it's time for an upgrade but even if i copy his tree and equip his sword i don't get even close to his damage.

Im doing something terribly wrong ? what would be the best change and investment to make?

    Thank you for your time

    First time SSF build recomendations.

    Posted: 19 Sep 2021 05:20 AM PDT

I decided to try ssf first time. So build should be able to go to red tier maps, I don't hope first build on ssf will be able to clear all content, but it will be great training before next league where I want to spend a lot more time in ssf.
