    What ascendancy do you guys think is best suited for this spell (assuming the base damage is decent)? I think Chieftan or Templar would work best but i havent really played with these ascendancies so i dont know their strengths and weaknesses.

    [3.5] Trickster Chaotic CoC-bow (Toxic Rain/Essence Drain/Contagion)

    A bit of a different take on the cast on crit meta - pretty purple chaos DoTs!

    When mapping, you run, shoot, have ED and contagion proc, and everything dies. Here is a Pit of Chimera run.

    When bossing, you swap contagion for efficacy. Pop Wither totems, Vaal RF, and Vaal Blight. Then you stack toxic rain while ED does the job, and both are almost as good as a stand-alone ED or TR build.

    The build works for all content I've tried (Shaper is fine, haven't got to UE due to time constraints), and can do all mods, but it could be a ton stronger with some investment. I think damage output could be at least 5 to 10 times higher, but it might cost 20-40 ex to get there. When I build this next league I will do a lowlife Occultist (tree is going to be pretty similar though).

    Sword + Shield leaguestarter

    Hi community!

    With incoming league I'm thinking about which build to start with to make the beggining comfortable and enjoyable for me.

    I'm playing Molten Strike Jugg (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2211489) and I became absolutelly addicted to Whirling Blades and Leap Slam as my movement skills. As you know for sure, the only weapon that uses those two skills is a sword.

    And I love shields because they provide a great boost to survivability and just possibility for nice mods helping the quality of life.

    But I feel like Molten Strike Jugg is actually a terrible league starter. It's extremelly slow at the beggining and I feel like without Thief's Torment the survivability is not so great when exping as well.

    So I'm thinking. Are there better versions of this build to make it viable as a league starter or perhaps some other builds that can be used as league starters and use sword+shield combination?

    I know that the game is rebalancing so it might be a bit weird question but afterall even though builds are going to be differently balanced we still have to choose our starters, right?

    So... Any suggestions for Sword+Shield league starter build? Help would be really appreciated :)

    Please help critique my Reave perma-Phasing Raider

    This is my first attempt at an original build. I quite like the idea of Ahn's Heritage perma-phasing/onslaught Raider, but I haven't been able to find a guide that I like. I'm trying not to use Cold because I played that last two leagues.

    The budget for this build is 1-1.5 ex. I'm thinking of starting off with cheap uniques then phasing out some for rares as I'm able to afford them.

    Haven't been able to decide on flasks yet. Probably bleed/poison/curse cleanses + some uniques? No idea. Open to suggestions here.

    Please help me make this Raider awesome. Thank you in advance :)

    Which builds can comfortably farm red maps?

    I've finally got around playing RF Jugg and while I really enjoy it's playstyle, having to constantly reroll maps really sucks.

    I also prefer farming higher tier maps instead of going zoom zoom through hundreds of low tier ones.

    So here's what I'm looking for in the build:

    1. Tanky. I'm bad at dodging stuff when the whole screen is covered in explosions, corpses and whatnot.

    2. Doesnt die as soon as you stop attacking (aka no vaal pact)

    3. Not too picky about map mods, or atleast has some workaround to deal with the bad ones.

    4. Decent clear speed. Doesnt need to be super fast, just fast enough to do incursions

    5. Not a pet/totem build, I always have a hard time keeping them alive, plus AI is dumb

    6. Not a mine/trap build, they feel too clunky

    7. Relatively inexpensive, around 5ex to get things going. This is just for farming, not trying to kill bosses with it.

    Some advice for leveling 2H build

    Hi so I'm doing a 2H Dom blow and HoP build as champion for 3.6 and it's the first time I've tried to seriously race to the endgame at league start with a melee character. Is there any helpful advice from anyone here about the best skills/item tips to use while leveling, as it will play like a normal 2h melee character setup until like lvl60ish...

    Note that I take the 3 life nodes and the wrecking ball and other 2h passive nodes at the bottom at the tree and respec them later at lvl 60ish.

    Build for a noob to finally clear all map tiers and kill Shaper

    Ive tried numerous builds, like ice shot ranger, flicker strike slayer, storm brand elementalist, but for the love of god, i can't progress higher than lvl 6 maps. Mobs are getting too tough, and my DPS[like around 30k] is too low. I dont know what im doing wrong, since im following guides closely from poebuilds.net. I would like recommendation on super easy build, that can clear t16 maps and kill shaper. I dont mind if its not league starter build, but i kind of care if its cheap, i prefer cheap builds, as i dont buy currency, or farm them effectively.

    MoM Crit Fireball Assassin improvements

    Need help finding a skill/ class for next league

    I've played enki's arc witch, ms nebuloc jugg and ci sot occultist. I loved the fullscreen clear of enkis but found myself getting flattened at all bosses cause I cant dodge for peanuts.

    The invincibility of ms is fun but I want a faster clear for next league.

    I didn't like occultist at all. Being somewhat squish and running in the center of mobs was not my jam. If ai need to close the gap ai want to be damn near invincible.

    Any suggestions?

    My main goal would be to pick the class (witch, marauder, etc) that ai'll keep all season then respec that toon from leaguestarter to endgame build. I just need to find the fun endgame build first.

    TL;DR any suggestions on an endgame build that moves fast and has great screen clear but won't die every 10 seconds in the hands of a bad player?

    Storm Brand Elementalist league starter questions

    Initially I wasn't a fan of storm brand but after watching some guides and people playing on stream I kind of want to try it out. That said, i want to make sure i have a good start, so my questions are what's better, dual wielding or using a one hander and a shield? Personally, I'm leaning towards the 1h + shield but im afraid that i won't have enough damage. Should i be taking MoM? Also, since I'm not going crit will the overall damage of storm brand be enough to clear guardians, possibly even shaper? Lastly, what would be acceptable damage for storm brand in Pob? I managed to put something together and got like 150k dps. Is that just the damage of 1 brand because if not it seems pretty low? The goal of this "starter build" will be to rush full atlas completion and then farm red-tier maps for money to fund my next (mf) char.
