| Complete and utter PoE newb here, quick question on starting out. Posted: 12 May 2019 01:47 AM PDT Currently farming the Oni Goroshi and will proceed once I acquire it (got a Tabula Rasa and some legendary gloves whose name I forget but the description mentioned causing more items to drop among other things). I'll Google info on builds but I'm using three Marauders to farm it. So far I've put skill points in melee damage, things I'm assuming are expected for my class, but not making any big choices without looking at builds (once I get the sword). Should I hold off completely on stat allocation until I can move forth with whatever specific build, or are there basic things I'll need I can go ahead and choose on the skill tree? | Posted: 11 May 2019 04:27 PM PDT I literally just installed PoE a few minutes ago. I didn't know a game like this existed. I'm beyond excited to start but can't till a bit later tonight. With that all said I'm completely lost on builds and have been researching but as I said I have no idea what I'm looking for. I already made my choice as to which character I want to use. I'm going for Templar Guardian and that's all I know currently. So my question to you fine people is how would you reccomend a beginner build? I've looked into the forums and all I've seen are advanced builds that leave my mind in a maze. Thanks in advance for the help and the time you put into reading this! [link] [comments]  |

| Purifying Flame Trap support gems ? Posted: 11 May 2019 11:21 AM PDT I've started Flashback with Demi's Lightning Trap build.. and was wondering if this same tree could be used with Purifying Flame traps? I'm just not sure what would be ideal support gems to go with it and if I'd actually need to change something on the tree or not?
