[Theory] 3.6 Immortality build Posted: 01 May 2019 12:34 PM PDT Alright, so they've been cracking down on truly unkillable builds. They annihilated Gluttony of Elements for sustainability, they created a hard cap on maximum resistances at 95%, and they've taken great care in disallowing players from outranging aggro radii of enemies. However, I think I've come up with another way: reducing your aggro radius until enemies can't interact with you. This was a brief bug with Phase Run some time ago, which was a result of the reduced visibility being doubled to 100% reduced. As you can see, enemy AI cannot detect 100% reduced visibility. Did you know that we currently have a way of reaching 100% reduced visibility? Items Required:
What stats you need:
How it works: Curse yourself with Temporal Chains for effects decay off you 75% slower. This quadruples the duration of all buffs, including Shade Form from Shroud of the Lightless. The base duration on Shade Form is 3 seconds, with a 45 second cooldown. This makes its base duration effectively 12 seconds. The 33% general cooldown reduction from Shaper boots/belt reduces Shade Form's cooldown from 45 seconds to 30 seconds. With 150% increased duration, that 12 seconds becomes 30 seconds, making it theoretically possible to maintain permanently. Shade Form does two very interesting things. It provides immunity to physical damage, and it reduces visibility to enemies by 50%. Phase run also reduces visibility to enemies by 50%. Stacking both together should result in 100% reduced visibility, which means enemies can't see you, and you get the video I started with. This is not true immortality, but it's pretty dang close. Any thoughts on this? [link] [comments] |
Looking for advice on Flick CoC BV Posted: 01 May 2019 04:44 PM PDT Hello, I have been playing around with a build I mostly made as I went and I think it is a bit of a mess at the moment. I wanted to make a flicker build based on having 100% Crit Chance and Terminus Est. It is a lot of fun zooming around lower level maps (tier 5 feels ok) but the build feels pretty squishy I am at only 3.5k life, so it feels really squishy. Even putting my next 11 points in life nodes (which I intend to do, not sure where I am going after that) I only end up at 4.5k. I really want to find a way to improve my health situation but am not sure the best place to invest. POB: https://pastebin.com/RfkCKfG1 Thank you for any advice! [link] [comments] |
Crab or Cat for an evasion acro trickster? Posted: 01 May 2019 08:04 PM PDT My build is 16k evasion with 30% dodge, 50% spell dodge, Arctic armor, 5.6k life, 1k es, ghost shrouds, trickster stuff. I'm thinking of ditching my herald of Ash for aspect of the cat, or crab, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with the interaction of Dodge, evade, and aspect. I imagine that crab will matter more, but once you get hit, you lose all your mitigation. Couple that with all the mitigation, and stuff you get from ghost shrouds, and getting hit might be an even more massive debuff than it already is. Degens should be less of an issue, but most degens aren't physical anyway. At max crab barriers, that's an extra fortify. I imagine crab will help against one shots, and it fits the current active play style, but what about cat? I imagine that cat might mitigate those projectile mobs from swarming you from the edge of the screen because they can't see you as well. If I'm not getting one shot, I die to a swarm of projectiles that covers the screen. Currently I opt for lunaris in +projectiles maps with a vaal grace panic button and liberal use of flame dash. 15% chance to avoid damage for 40% of the time is as insignificant as my block chance currently is, so we are really only talking about the phase aspect of it. And then there is the crit chance or cast speed to augment the damage loss from the herald, but going from 850k DPS to 800k DPS isn't likely to really hurt. Also, I was dropping herald often for a relevant purity aura anyway, so I'm accustomed to doing the tougher content down on DPS anyway. The Mana loss was a bigger hit to play than the DPS loss was. Does anyone have any advice for this? Does anyone use any aspect other than aspect of the spider? Does anyone have experience with combining them with other defensive layers, especially evade/dodge? Thanks for any advice. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 May 2019 06:49 PM PDT This is my FIRST build that doesn't look like GARBAGE. I'll try to keep this brief. I wanted this build to kinda hold a brighter candle than DismantleTime's EA build Nice hp + thicc armour + warcry = this builds BASE/MANDATORY requirements I'm not too familiar with making my OWN builds but i have definitely watched MANY builds and suggestions. i have not tested ANY of my builds out any thing you need me to explain let me know and i would GREATLY appreciate feedback and constructive criticism Also i wanted this to be a money farming boy as i am switching from xbox to PS4 as MOST of my friends are on PS4. This build has 110% IIR so yay? [link] [comments] |
Need advice on vaal fireball build Posted: 01 May 2019 12:36 PM PDT So I've contemplating between going trickster and pathfinder. I've spend a good time pob'ing both versions and both have their own strengths and weaknesses however, my main priority now is figuring out which class offers more soul chargers towards vaal fireball. From what I've seen in guides and videos, with a 40% Soul Catcher, a 40% two-handed weapon fossil craft as well as a Conqueror's Potency and Pathfinders ascendancy offering flask effectiveness I can reach up to five maximum charges on the vaal skill. However, I've also heard from small minority that a 40% Soul Catcher, 40% fossil crafted weapon and a Conqueror's Potency is you really need to achieve five maximum charges, could anyone confirm this? If that's not the case then would there be some kind of cheap or easy alternative strategies to gaining enough flask effectiveness to reach five charges, possibly cheap nodes on the tree or some items that I'm not aware of? help my charged dash coc build Posted: 01 May 2019 08:41 AM PDT Heya, So i'm trying to make a charged dash coc build (with cospri's malice) but i'm having trouble with damage, i'm quite happy with the defenses so far (well haven't really gone far) but it's definitely lacking damage. Originally i really wanted to play with discharge but had to drop it in favour of glacial cascade and freezing pulse. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done at this point so i'm looking for an outside look or advice from someone more use to CoC build as this is my first. Ideally i would like to use discharge again but that seemes like a bad idea. Path of Building : [link] [comments] |
