| Some advice on a Hyaon's Fury Cyclone CwC Spark build Posted: 25 May 2019 11:27 PM PDT So the idea is in the title. I want to go fast with the new cyclone, so raider is the obvious choice. 9 Frenzies, so 18% increased damage taken (Which is HUGE). The build should be fairly budget seeing as the most expensive items would be the wrath pen watcher's eye and the six link. Problem is I cant see this build going past t8's without getting one shot due to terrible survivability and damage. Can one of yall take a look at the PoB I have for it? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Summoner, interesting "off-meta" spectres? Posted: 25 May 2019 07:57 PM PDT Hi fellow theorycrafters! I'm a long time summoner player and I've played pretty much every type of summoner in the game to greater or lesser success. With Legion coming up, I'm thinking of starting the league as a spectre summoner focused on endgame bossing. Now, we all know about the almighty Solar Guard and his all but forgotten cousin Flame Sentinel, but what about some lesser known or perhaps barely used spectres? Here's a list of spectres I've used before: Solar Guard, Flame Sentinel, Risen Vaal Advocate, Tukohama Vanguard, Cannibal Fire Eater, Stygian Revenant and Knitted Horror. First on my list of candidates is the obvous Kitava's Herald. I like the idea of a tanky melee minion but that requirers a Command of the Pit which are always expensive. I'm also interested in trying out some of the Syndicate mobs, particularily the shadows that do a version of the Chimera circular area flurry. Anyone here have some experience or simply ideas of interesting spectres to try out? Naturally I will be looking at the Legion mobs when it starts. [link] [comments]  | ||
| theory crafting around poison/chaos melee spreading for 3.7 Posted: 25 May 2019 08:03 AM PDT the idea is to debuff mobs with a blasphemy curse set up while you dash through a mob with whirling blades to apply your poisons and with viper strike procing the spread of chaos damage with contagion. im not sure if ill be able to get any good DoT with the contagion without any spell damage while trying to focus the attack dmg etc for the poison scaling. im mainly just looking for the play style of dashing through mobs and proccing a nuke type effect of chaos spreading through contagion for the purpose of having an enjoyable map farming build. im hoping for a good poison rework to make an idea like this more viable but worst comes to worse i could just try to focus spell damage and pure chaos DoT with the new caster daggers that are comming in 3.7. as far as links i was thinking 6link viper strike for the best possible solo target with a possible 5 link contagion using an expensive helmet or something and having whirling blades linked for the soul purpose of going fast and applying poison. but could potentially be a curse on hit setup if the poison falls through. just spit balling some ideas [link] [comments]  | ||
