    Pre-league theorycrafting - With the new Berserker tree, what sort of builds can most benefit from such a spastic level of attack speed?

    With 50 rage, you can get 75% attack speed, with minor nodes that's 12% on top.
    With 20 Blitz you can get 40% more attack speed on top.
    What sort of builds can most benefit from that much attack speed?

    Scourge Arrow League Starter

    How does scourge arrow as a league starter fare compared to other league starters like a miner or lightning trap & etc?

    Will someone like me who has historically sucked at league starts have a hard time with it due to the amount of investment necessary to make it feel good to progress through to the end game?(T16/Uber Elder)

    Finally do you guys have any tips or guide on doing it as my league starter for 3.7 (Yes I'm aware that I should wait till the patchnotes before deciding but I going off the assumption that it's not going to be touched)

    Getting ready for 3.7 - CI Herald of Agony Jugg

    So I've had a blast playing a max block HoA gladiator for Synth flashback, and want to stay on that theme but change it up a bit.

    I'm interested in playing a CI jugg, a bit similar to a HoWA Jugg, but focusing on Herald of Agony instead. HoA scales really well just with gem level and a 5L/6L, which leaves me with loads of skill points to focus on defences. ES will protect me from poison, which I'll be inflicting on myself with the Golden Rule, which will help sustain virulence. A sulphur flask will replace life flasks.

    I'm gonna stack ES, get regen using endurance charges with Zealot's Oath, and use Rearguard + block mods (amulet, gloves, gems) for a few layers of defence. With Rumi's Concoction, the Anvil, +spell block on my helm, and three +block gems I can get to 63/36 attack and spell block chance. I'll also aim for a Discipline Watcher's Eye for ES on hit. Big question though - is it worth it? Is block worth using if you can't totally max it out? 36% spell block in particular seems a little low.

    I'll use Quill Rain & Coming Calamity to start (~570k Shaper DPS), then switch up to a crafted bow and crafted vaal regalia when I've farmed some currency (1m+ Shaper DPS). Ele Overload will also contribute.

    Here's my PoB: https://pastebin.com/h5WcZkN0 I've not bothered balancing resists or anything since that'll just from from rare gear. The ES total will depend on what gear I end up with so it's really just placeholder stuff. I'll use a life-based jugg HoA build until I respec as well.

    Main concerns:

    • Near the witch section of the tree, I don't know if I'm being as efficient as possible in getting to the CI node and the Arcane Focus/Deep Wisdom nodes.
    • Is it worth trying to use block? I can switch to the Soul Strike quiver if not.
    • Is it worth stacking end charges and getting ES regen? Or can I rely on recharge?

    [3.7] Cyclone Vacuum with Holy Relic

    Thinking about trying something like this before 3.7 to see if I want to league start it(obviously things can change between now and then). Idea is probably increased weapon range, Cyclone in empire's grasp, maybe a crafted Claw with trigger socketed spell with Convocation(Just tested and realized Cyclone becoming channeled screws with trigger socketed spell).

    Summon Holy Relic
    -Minion Damage
    -Increased Area of Effect
    -Minion Speed
    -Controlled Destruction
    -Summon Phantasm on Kill

    If I wear a Soulwrest for my 6L Holy Relic I can put a CwC Cyclone setup in my body armor but I'll lose out on the free Knockback from Empire's Grasp. This would leave me with three 4Ls for auras, single target, and a defensive.

    Cyclone
    -Knockback
    -Cast While Channeling
    -Convocation
    -Offering
    -Fortify/Onslaught/Culling Strike/LgoH/Zombie/Skeleton/etc

    Other big decision I'm having trouble with is which acendancy. Are Necromancers and Guardians the only ascendancies that buff minions? My current test character is a Necromancer.

    At this point I'm just looking for any suggestions people might have, things to test, things to avoid. Thanks in advance.

    Trying to make a generic phys damage crit slayer. Need help maximizing nodes / jewels / items if anyone has suggestions. Also need to determine where to lose the extra 5 points. I don't know the tree as much as most of you all do, figure you'll have no trouble making this as pretty as possible. Also is 88% hit enough to not feel annoying or do I need more?

    Don't pay attention to resist, most items have mid-low tier rolls. Take into account only accuracy, damage, crit chance and so on.

    Non-Necro SRS?

    Is Abyssal Cry viable?

    I played Abyssal Cry a couple years ago and I really enjoyed it. Since then, the AoE nerfs and the removal of double dipping have affected its power. I've tried to scale it with through Spiritual Aid and minion damage. I'm using (Vaal) Double Strike as my single target as well so the minion damage will also scale the doubles. I think Abyssal Cry detonates enemies for around 48% of their max life (plus some flat chaos damage) if my calculations were correct.

    This is pretty much my first time not copying a build. Can anyone give some advice or point out anything I'm missing? (Or just tell me Abyssal Cry isn't at all viable)

    Hello Reddit! First time posting

    Hey everyone,

    I have a question about a build I am working on. I have a "concept" in my mind but I can't seem to figure out why the value of dps is so low.

    The build is based on the skill: Frost Blades, with as much cold pen as possible and the defenses should come from very high cold resistance, combined with physical and fire damage taken converted to cold damage taken.

    Right now every single stat seems bad, the dps the life and energy shield. Except the dodge chance, I suppose 46% attack dodge chance and 40% spell dodge chance isn't the worst.

    3.7 TecSlam Slayer??

    Any thoughts on how to make the tree more efficient? The possible DPS seems low or maybe i'm just trying too hard to make a slayer tecslam work? I don't how to factor in the possible dps increase with the helm enchant. The bis/manditory uniques will be koams/oni/xophs, and a watchers eye. Which I think is doable.

    edit: also the rares/resists are just some half assed stuff I put in so I could see where/what elements I needed to put in.
