| Incinerate Trickster (Nigh Untouchable?) Posted: 07 Jul 2019 01:23 AM PDT Been playing a lot of Strength stacking builds (both melee and caster) lately, and don't usually have much experience with dodge/evasion type of characters to be honest. I've been having the idea kicking around in my head lately for playing one of my favorite skills again; Incinerate. So decided to start putting a tree together and see how things go. Think I've put about an hour or so in goofing off with my tree and skills and might have hit something fairly good, but wanted to put it up here and see if I'm missing anything blatantly obvious that I might have goofed on. General concept is crit using EB for casting running Precision, Zealotry, and Herald of Ash as offensive reservations. Defensively speaking, I'm going Phase Acro with Evasion along with Flesh and Stone (Sand Stance) and Dread Banner. I'm not sure how good it will be, but I'm banking on blind, less accuracy from the banner, dodge from Phase Acro, and Evasion that I should hopefully be nearly un-touchable. I've got only three uniques slated into the build at the moment: Atziri's Promise, Surgebinders (with a +2 AoE gems corruption), and Gifts from Above. Each of these add about 73k Shaper DPS, leech, charge theft, and more reliable consecrated ground. Already have 2 of these, and the ring is quite cheap so price isn't an issue. The weapons in my build are definitely up for changes, most likely to rare Platinum Kris. The wands I have in right now are just placeholders (I own the wand already, just imported it and slapped it in both hands since I'm sure I could get something of equal quality, been farming currency up pretty well). I create 2 chars already, vaal spark and ice spear mine, vaal spark is unequipped, so feel clunky and i cant run any good maps or lv with efficiency, and ice spear is borings as hell. My question is should I go dual wield or just use Pledge of hands? uhh what ascendancy? I've been browsing a bit of poe ninja but can't really say I understand much. Mostly I get scared cause of the gear that I see them use and it seems expensive. Assassin seems like great damage, but squishy. I do have lvl 70 assassin but he's struggling with HP. Guardian seems interesting as well. Seems overall more tanky, if you go Vault helmet + Healthy mind jewel route. Occultist I don't really know about this one. Seems like you get extra curse and this explosion thing.. apart from that I'm not sure what else it offers. Content that I'm wanting to do is Delving and possibly try and get my first Uber elder kill. I'm very bad at doing passive tree properly so I'm not sure what to prioritize. | CoC EK Deadeye Build Theorycrafting Posted: 06 Jul 2019 11:09 AM PDT Looking for some ideas/suggestions on how to min/max the build. With the most basic setup its about 1mil shaper DPS, Just Tailwind and Diamond flask up. I am not sure if its a PoB bug (maybe someone can confirm) but Crimsons storms added phys dmg vs bleeding targets seems to be global, so it works on EK as well as barrage, So it would be hard to replace. With EK proj speed helm enchants, being deadeye and proj speed on tree, EK nova should cover most of the screen plus it chains and use Fork support for clear. Ways to improve, that I am thinking of: Crit multi precision watchers eye. CDR on belt and boots. Unveil Crimson storm with Spell trigger and have another 6link EK ( might be worth with CDR on gear?) | How effective is Cyclone at Glacier spamming ? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 12:14 PM PDT I have reached a point with my cyclone build where the only big upgrades would cost me big money ie. HH. I shaped my atlas so I could sustain T2 Glacier and generally it feels more profitable then spamming t16's and farming u.elder which I was doing before. I bought a 3 white socket prismatic eclipse and have another one with 2 whites which I made myself with vorici in research. I need about 1-2 minutes on average to clear the first "room" on glacier and to do the monolith. But since I know there are builds which are way more effective at clearing monoliths I was wondering if it is even worth to do this strat with cyclone or am I better off keep clearing end-game content? | Why am I dealing so little dmg? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 01:11 PM PDT Im new, just started playing this league and I made new character and I spent about 6ex on items. With how vulnerable I am to the physical dmg I expected to deal more dmg, I have people with cyclone builds for 10 times cheaper items with quadruple my dps. What am I doing wrong? I was actually realizing I should probably skip the generals altogether and only kill the smaller guys. Basically, I'm wondering what I should prioritize, especially if I want to do some uber elder bossing? Delve Crafting a -9 Chaos Resist Helmet? I've got a Contagion Area of Effect Enchanted Hubris Circlet. Non-ailment damage elder amulet? Spell damage shaper rings? A better quiver (is AoE better than Onslaught/Movespeed?) Non-ailment damage on a Watcher's Eye? Better Jewels? Also, how are people handling mana regen? I have a mana flask I'd love to replace with another damage or defensive flask, but my mana regen feels really slow and ED is really mana intensive. Also, what should my 6 link Vaal Blight be? I was using 4 link Vaal totems, but that's not going to fit in the colours of my new chest piece. All in all, this is my second like, really end game build but it feels way weaker than Arc Trapper when I played that, and I'm not sure what's wrong. People say they can clear legions in T16 in one cast, but I always seem to get rares to 1/4 life, miss little pockets here and there. [link] [comments]  | ||

| I need help with my lightning trap Posted: 06 Jul 2019 11:15 AM PDT I'm having a lot of fun. This is the first time that I could defet the Elder (not the Uber one) and now I'm motivated to defeat the uber elder. What's best about this build is that I'm using the same exact gear that I bought after defeating Kitava, so I can do up to T16 (not deathless of course). I want to know what should be worth spending a lot of currency, because I don't have that much (4ex). I mean, what would be my priorities, because I don't want to spend my currency on items that wouldn't help me that much. | Help needed for next step for weird cyc build Posted: 06 Jul 2019 08:50 AM PDT i dont know what dps is decent. returned to poe at start of legion league, the last time i played was when blood rage still doesnt affect CI builds. which is very long ago. So i just build as i go along, cross referencing different builds to try something out myself. but i really need some help now. what should i upgrade next? or what should i work forward to? or what should i change? also. and my numbers are always changing due to my vulconus avatar of fire activating. and i dont seem to know the exact dps. tooltip shows cyclone w/o avatar @162k. w/ avatar @214k. this is my POB [link] [comments]  | ||
