Cospri's CoC trying and failing at uber elder Posted: 18 Aug 2019 04:52 PM PDT This is my character currently. I've finally set up an uber elder for the first time but I keep getting wrecked by him. I've ripped a few sets and the furthest I've gotten is killing the shaper with the elder still alive. In addition to what you see here I sub in Kaom's Roots on UElder. Is there anything obvious that I'm missing in pushing this build to being able to take uber elder? I feel like I've hit my peak for my budget, and any upgrade feels like it's at least 10 ex away. How to exploit Razor of the seventh sun Posted: 18 Aug 2019 05:45 AM PDT So a Razor of the Seventh Sun dropped the other day and I thought the interactions on it seemed fun, so I'd really like to make a build for it. The problem is I'm not sure how to properly exploit the "increased burning damage if you've ignited an enemy recently" and "increased physical damage against burning enemies", which seem like the weapon's main selling points. This is the best I could come up with (going for Tectonic Slam and a chieftain for all the fire interactions and high regen), but while levelling it currently feels rather underpowered (at 44-ish, no ascendancy yet), and short of some sort of perfect uniques that I simply don't know about, I'm struggling to squeeze any more dps out of just the passive tree. https://pastebin.com/GjjGyazm (The gear and skills are only a mockup obviously. There would be a CWDT-setup there, as well as probably some sort of curse-setup) I'm also not sure about the Elemental Overload. I'm not a fan of it just flavour wise, and the build at current has very low crit anyway, but it seemed the easiest way to boost PoB-dps to anywhere over 300k. So any tips on how to build for Razor are more than welcome. Edit: The general weakness at current level might also be attributed to the fact that I've been twinking it, and maybe I'm just running into the ceiling of those twink items and need to start gearing properly. My Divine Ire Build is garbage Posted: 18 Aug 2019 09:27 AM PDT I don't know what is, but the damage sucks on this char. Channeled 20 give me only around 300k My PoB : but the other dude has; it has 32m on 20 channel divine ire. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I pretty much managed to follow ire divine guide and I am nearly same with stats Does trickster make a difference ? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2019 05:53 AM PDT I had an idea for a flicker strike build which would utilise two Dyaduses and take advantage of the switching cold/fire attacks to take advantage of EE. I've got a rough outline below: Basically, Ascendant - raider for attack speed and some frenzy gen and dodge, elementalist for guaranteed shock Pick up ele overload, not sure if accuracy will be an issue. Flesh to stone and acrobatics nodes for defense Frenzy charges to supercharge flicker Yoke of suffering to take advantage of near-guaranteed shock, chill and ignite. Grab duelist poison and bleed chance on tree (20%) to further increase damage from yoke. However, I'm not sure I can get enough damage to do higher tier maps even with the right gear and changing up the tree. Anyone have any advice/suggestions? Cheers [link] [comments] |
