    Team Play Build

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 02:59 AM PDT

    So for the new league,

Me and my friends looking to have a set of characters to play together.

So I'm looking for feedback on the team comp so that we can do maps and delve together.

    • A (me) - Guardian, SR/HoAg. Running defensive aura (3 purity, discipline, determination, clarity, vitality). Running LL. Give ES and armour.

    • B - Assassin, Winter Orb

    • C - Pathfinder, Ice Shot

    • D (new guy) - Scion Aurabot. Running most offensive auras as per this guide.

Any feedback would be appreciated. The Scion Aurabot was recommended by the good fellows on Discord.

    Need suggestion for my build

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 02:02 AM PDT

I need suggestion or advice on how to make my two char be effective especially the skill tree.

First of all - my first char is a champion cyclone bleed impale build, i have done up to lair of the hydra (albeit, dying one or two times until i kill the boss). Problem i have with this is that it gets killed easily, even with the life leech. i tried playing around with it to get it defensive, but it doesnt seem to work no matter how many times i respec. Could you all give me advice as to make this build effective? i realise my life nodes are low, last time i repec to get at least more life nodes, i couldnt clear the lair map. so had to change it again to what i have now.

My other char, which is EQ jugg physical ignite using herald of ash. I just recently started this, and went the life regen road on the skill tree, picking up all the life nodes and regen. It made it very tanky and survivable. Just now i tried to clear hydra map, and the problem (which i very well know) is that i cant kill the boss in a normal manner, i actually managed to survive for like 3-5 minutes when it was getting IC up running and high regen. But the attack damaged is like nyak. Even with the flask running and me dodging and hitting around him, it taking a lot of time. (Had to use my champion to kill it off quickly). I know i have to do something with the skill tree, and i probably should try to change the build into something else that can have good attack damage while being very tanky and survivable.

So far these two builds i have begun to like very well, and want to invest in it both. Please someone help me out here so that i can do the other three lair as well as possible to do uber.

advice on tanky ground slam champion

    Posted: 27 Aug 2019 07:49 AM PDT

Hello i wanted a build capable of doing uber elder and fast clearing map while being relatively tanky to forgive my miss play.

    https://pastebin.com/WeV1wrKe

i have tried not to be a pob warrior and I used what I think is realistic gear.

do you think my defensive setup is enough to accomplish my goal :

    5500 hp

    46% evade chance

71% phys reduction + arctic armor

    30% spell dodge

on the offensive side 500k shaper dps is my breakpoint for acceptable build so i am not looking for more.

( i could even improve it with a better axe instead of the 2nd soultaker, as well as changing my glove, and activate ancestral warchief )

i wanted to use the rampage gloves because i think it will be fun with the blight league.

any tips on how to improve it ?

    EDIT :

new tree with impale and rare gloves still non crit because i didnt figure how to reach enough multiplier( as i fear to use abyssus ) and it was the same dps as non crit

    link to tree : https://pastebin.com/em53Jph6

with 116% increase impale effect it theorically reach 1M dps on shaper after 7 hit. ( i edited one of the jewel to add the physical damage granted by the champion's impale notable)

thanks for helping i think i will go with this as starter.

i will figure during the league if the aoe is enough or if i should go for a carcass ( from 48 to 55 in blood stance and up to 60 in sand stance)

Looking for advice for a LS HoWA Ascendancy

    Posted: 27 Aug 2019 10:20 AM PDT

So I've been playing PoE on and off for a few years, and to be frank I suck at it. Never even got to Shaper or Elder, but thats mostly because I get to mapping and run out of maps to advance with. Then its a combination of being too lazy to buy all the maps I need to run through the atlas, and to bored to run maps enough to find the maps to complete the atlas myself.

This league I'm looking to actually make it to at least seeing all the content the game has to offer, and after looking around a bit I think I'd enjoy a LS HoWA build. I looked up a few on poe.ninja and Guardian and Occultist both seem good. But I'm not experienced or knowledgeable enough to know what the actual difference in how the two different Ascendancy's will play out.

This is the PoB for the templated Occ build I'm thinking of: https://pastebin.com/PBEpdWJP

And this is the templated PoB for the Guardian build:

    https://pastebin.com/xKmhRuBP

I'm trying to figure out why the Occultist has so much higher DPS and ES, how the Guardian has 90% physical dmg reduction, which actually has better surviability, and about a dozen other things I'm not thinking of right now. How they play, how big of a difference the 3 curses for the Occ make, and leveling.

Looking for a Endgame Achievement Grinder

    Posted: 27 Aug 2019 09:54 AM PDT

I am looking for a build that can reasonable complete every map and encounter in Standard to get every achievement(Hall of Grandmasters, every map on atlas, warband, etc.). Is Righteous Fire + Scorching Ray still the most viable?
