Completing blighted maps is technically impossible on consoles. Posted: 23 Sep 2019 07:43 AM PDT I am sorry GGG but you failed with blight. You failed so badly that two weeks after the league started, the console community pretty much said fuck it and left. And yes I am talking big blights and blighted maps. I am unaware of your QA process, but I beg you to add more hours testing rudimentary scenarios like activating a white blighted map on consoles and trying to beat it. Because it's not working. On the off-chance of not getting blue-screened after entering which occurs more often with blighted maps (me and my friends tested 40 maps out of which we blue-screened 11 times immediately after entering!) there are two outcomes. 2 FPS as soon as 10+ portals are activated or two - blue-screen if twoo many mobs are alive on the map . And before the question is asked - yes we did try playing with a full party on white map with tower damage oils . Each player has 500k shaper dps with above average clearing speed on their build. Still did not matter one bit. Our best attempt before we lagged to death or crashed one by one was 32 seconds before the end timer. Not being able to complete blighted maps severely hampers out gearing progress, makes certain challenges impossible to complete and overall screws the entire end game experience. This is an atrocity GGG. Honestly The level of bad PoE is experiencing on console is worthy of Microsoft and Sony pulling it off the store. I really hope the next performance patch and the subsequent leagues take us consoles players in to consideration, because right now, this game is technically not working for us. Anyone else would be interested in having a death recap? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 01:14 PM PDT I am not usually one to go online to ask for features, or complain about things I would like to see in the games I play. Devs generally manage to satisfy enough of my needs so that I feel, as a player, that I shouldn't try to influence people or start internet mobs about content I'd like to see in games. PoE, however, is known to have very mischievous, dirty and sometimes downright unfair means to smite your character in a picosecond. Whenever bullcrap-tier RIPs happen, I sometimes really want to see what killed me so fast, what was the source of the damage, how much the hit actually did to me (in both the outgoing damage and the incoming damage through mitigation forms). I genuinely feel as if this would help me both improve my knowledge of the enemies in the game, fine tune build defences and sometimes even help me uncover mysteries about certain odd deaths (looking at you, unloaded projectile texture bugs) that shouldn't be occuring to make the game better and bug-free for all of us. I just want to make this post to see how many people think this would be a great addition to a great game. How cool would it be to have more information in game when you die to improve and come back more aware and harder to bring down? This is a knowledge-based game and one of the most important aspects of it is knowing what can kill you, and how. This is why I believe a simple death recap could be incredibly helpful and insightful. Thank you for your time! [link] [comments] | ||

Uniques mobs In blight maps need to be more visible on the map Posted: 23 Sep 2019 12:36 PM PDT I just played a few blighted maps, having lots of fun, tried the white ones first, went really good with a strategy of spamming meteor and lightning storm towers with some empower in between, then tried a tier 6 with the same strategy. Nothing really can go through, except bosses, and I always notice when it's to late, lost 2 maps for that cause. I am purposefully crafting the maps to not have mods that make the monsters more tanky just so I can finish them without much problem but that's not enough. I'm also using two ring enchantments for lightning storm damage. Overall the experience is incredibly fun, but losing to 2 bosses In a row that I just don't see on the map feels like cheating.
