Currently playing freezing pulse totem build which easily clears T16 maps but really struggles with bosses and metamorphs. Built up quite a bit of currency and looking for something that can clear faster and more efficiently. Not looking for a play style in particular so anything is appreciated. I was overjoyed when I learned that they were planning on making new ballista skills, but despite looking, I haven't found any amazing build relying mainly on ballistas. Does anyone know of one? | Low-Life Arc Mines - Help Needed Posted: 20 Dec 2019 03:24 AM PST So for my league starter I went with a basic MoM Arc Mines and it was very successful up until late game maps (T15+). It started to then feel very squishy which made the single target damage unreliable as I was relying on dodging manually to avoid damage and couldn't place as many mines. So I transitioned to Low-Life with the money I had made. However, I'm not completely familiar with Low-Life builds and I just need some help finalising it, mainly with the gem links to set up low-life and other auras for the most optimal DPS. Any comments on gear would also be appreciated! (I know the helmet needs replacing) Or if anyone knows of a good build guide to help me along, that would be great. | Hopeshredder - ideas to mitigate the cold damage Posted: 20 Dec 2019 02:54 AM PST Hi fellow exiles, I'm currently tinkering with the idea of using a hopeshredder for my next build since I've never used it before and i like its unique appearance. Since it lets you take a large chunk of cold damage I'm looking for possible ways to mitigate that. My first thought was scion with raider / slayer for the frenzy charge generation and overleech to help counter the degen. Other than that I think I'd take survivalist for +1 max cold resistance and use a taste of hate for the less cold damage taken. I'd would also be possible to use a circle of fear with +1 cold resistance if you are affected by hoi (not really sure If this ring is worth it). In the end i would prefer it to not rely on slayer overleech since there are so many other interesting choices for scion ascendancies. On his video he gets point blank and the calw nodes while in his PoB he gets neither.. MoM+Acro+Phase Acro, feeling really squishy especially on T14+ maps. I wonder what shoudl I do to gear towards endgame and comfortably farm maps / take down bosses. Should I switch to Kaom's and focus on Arc? Would Arc's damage be enough to take down bosses in that case? Should I replace Tabula with another generic armor with life? | Endgame/Build advice for a long time player Posted: 19 Dec 2019 06:21 PM PST For context, I've been playing PoE for years, but never gotten past tier 10 or so maps. With the end of the year here, I will have some time to play, and I'm hoping I can actually see some end game content, but I'm worried my build won't work. I've been doing a generic summoner (kind of following a guide by Ghazzy), heavier on Zombies and Skellies, but I have a bit of everything. It's working well now, but will it get me to "end game" while I have a chance to maybe see it? I'm not really looking for the meta build (and would prefer to avoid it, so I can keep the build cheap...), but should I keep going with a Necro Summoner, or is now the time to change before it is too late, and to what? It would help if it weren't crazy to play. I don't need to faceroll the keyboard, but if we could minimize the buttons I press it would be nice :) (I did post this on the regular POE subreddit and realized that I maybe should have asked here instead, sorry) [link] [comments]  | ||

It's clearly a build meant for people that know what they're doing and what to work towards in CA builds and it's hard for me to follow because his is pretty barebones with barely information other than what nodes to pick. This isn't his fault it's mine for not realizing this sooner. I don't really have a preference for ranged/magic or melee. I do like builds that tend to be more active rather than totem/pet builds that are pretty low on the activity level. | Looking for opinions on Static Strike Posted: 19 Dec 2019 02:10 PM PST I messed around and made a static strike jugg between leagues for fun, and I ended up really enjoying the play style of the skill. I didn't put a whole lot of time into that build though so it didn't even make it to maps. I'm thinking about starting a 2nd character this league as a static strike raider, but I'm not sure if I should run a secondary single target skill like smite maybe, or just use a totem setup. | Some advice on my modified Cyclone build Posted: 19 Dec 2019 05:22 PM PST I've been using poebuilds.net Slayer Cyclone so far, but yesterday I started looking on poe.ninja at the top Duelist Cyslone player builds, and I noticed that most of them didn't spec into Razor's Edge or Brutal Blade, so it got me thinking if those nods are really worth it. After some more digging, I decided to modify the original spec, and came up with this, but I'm not really sure about it. Especially about keeping Charging Offensive. Also, because I got a 6 link corrupted armor that doesn't let me use all the recommended gems in the original guide, I'm using Fortify support so I decided to get Rampart. [link] [comments]  |
