We need more special nodes in Delve Posted: 07 Jan 2020 07:40 PM PST Just got my first delve boss at depth 308 and I was thinking it would be really cool to have more special nodes in Delve to encourage exploration. - Seismic Radar - A node that pulses out and reveals special nodes in a large area out in the fog of war. This way people can find bosses and special nodes and go lateral more than simply deeper. - Wormhole (Devouring Tunnel) - A node that connects to a completely separate area allowing you to start either very far laterally or deeper down than you currently are in delve. - Underground Growth - A portal to a special area that's like a Delve blight map. - Untainted Paradise - A hidden cave with primordial monsters that give 1000% more exp. The options are limitless and would make the delve experience more emergent. What are your thoughts? edit: they can even add some more chase rare encounters to delve: - if you get deep enough, instead of ruined cities, you might be able to find an unique biome with ancient civilizations still intact - an entire biome made up of hidden paths where you have to go darkness delving and use flares and dynamites to create a path through submitted by /u/Blanketslol [link] [comments] |

PSA: Be wary of installing newly announced scripts/tools Posted: 07 Jan 2020 07:24 PM PST There seems to have been a large influx of new tools recently with a lot of them reaching the frontpage. Just a reminder that while many scripts are great and their authors have good intentions, there's always the risk that one you choose to install has malicious intents. Open source is definitely a good start (particularly if you can read through code to make sure it's clean, so make sure you do that), but blindly packaged exes are always high risk. That said, thanks to all the developers who have been releasing their tools to the community! submitted by /u/nasaboy007 [link] [comments] |

[LOOTFILTER] NeverSink's itemfilter 7.6 - smart prophecy and fragment tiering, multiple overhauls, tons of polishing Posted: 08 Jan 2020 02:32 PM PST NeverSink's itemfilter 7.6 - smart prophecy and fragment tiering, multiple overhauls, tons of polishing First of all: small video about the update: ( + you can watch me being lucky with loot ), if you prefer listening over reading. Hey guys, this is quite a huge filter update. On top of polishing most sections to better suit the current meta, playstyle and economy, it also introduces smart tiering for prophecies and overhauls for fragments, new influence types and crafting bases. Prophecies are filtered very strictly, with most prophecies being hidden on high tiers. At the same time the filter highlights "mapping prophecies", that you can instantly right click to boost your mapping and POE experience, without being worried about cluttering your tab. This has been really finetuned to work nicely with high strictness filters. At the same time, the filter also has special tiers for Upgrade/Uniquedrop prophecies, that can be easily customized for SSF gameplay. Fragments, crafting tiers, all influenced bases have received overhauls as well and should feel much more dynamic and crisp now. You can find the full changelog below. Feedback is very, very appreciated. This www.filterblade.xyz update also introduces a bunch of new soundpacks - all by /u/zizaran : Holly, Kermit and Gollum. I'm seriously impressed by his acting skills. Check em out! Now if you excuse me, Awakener won't farm himself. Download and URLs: Source | Description | FilterBlade.xyz (DOWNLOAD) | Recommended way of downloding the filter, if you intend to use styles or customize the filter! Has all strictnesses, styles and economy versions! Experienced users can also edit filters there comfortably. | POE site filter list | You can subscribe to my POE filter account to receive the filters and updates quickly. The drawback, is that you can't customize these! | Changelog | Contains information about latest and previous changes | Additional Links: Changelog [!!!][PROPHECIES] Overhauled Prophecy tiering. It's much more strict now and has significantly more sophisticated. High strictnesses (Uber and Uber+) only show prophecies that are expensive OR can be instantly put into your prophecy tab for improved mapping, to increase quantity and returns. Added special section for non-expensive "drop"-prophecies (that drop specific unique items) and non-expensive "upgrade" prophecies. Highly useful for SSF customization. Very Strict hides around 50% of all prophecies, that are basically not worth the time. Removed "rest"-tier, every single known fragment is listed in the filter. [!!!][FRAGMENTS] Overhauled fragment tiering. It now has it's own economy-based tierlist. Items will be retiered and adjusted with every update, similar to the other tierlists. Removed "rest"-tier, every single known fragment is listed in the filter. [!!!][CONQUERORS OF THE ATLAS] Reworked and restructured the tiering for all 6 influenced types. It now uses the economy-based tiering system for all tiers. I'll keep a close eye on that one, but it should be much more accurate already (even if there might be some false positives) [!!!][CRAFTING] Vastly simplified the crafting section. It was previously overly complicated. Merged and simplified several rules. The crafting sections went down from a 36 combined rule set down to 14. Smoothened highlight, merged several sections and adjusted bases. [TIERING] Most tierlists have been adjusted to better match the current state of the game. Affected tierlists are: uniques, divination cards, unique maps, fossils, incubators, prophecies, scarabs, high level crafting bases, oils, fragments, shaper, elder, crusader, hunter, redeemer, warlord, vials, currencies [ENCHANTMENTS] Added a separate rule for boots/gloves and helmets enchantments. Boots/Gloves enchanted items are no longer highlighted on Very Strict and up. Enchanted helmets have increased highlight. [DIVINATION] The following divination cards have been moved and "anchored" (not affected by economy tiering) to the tier-5-currency tier: "Rain of Chaos" "Her Mask" "The Gambler" "The Flora's Gift" "The Scholar". These cards have the highest dropsize, but low highlight and are hidden on Uber Strict and upwards. Their treatment is now very similar to that of alteration orbs and similar tier items. [LEGION] Adjusted T2 incubator appearance [DIVINATION] Random tier 5 (lowest tier) divination cards are now hidden on strict and upwards. [MAPS] Reduced highlight and sounds on T15-16 maps. [MAPS] Incrased highlight for the 4 shaper guardian maps (shaper only: there's currently no way ingame to identify "Elder" maps as such, this needs to be adjusted by GGG) [INCURSION] Added "Citaqualotl" (summonner) to the "valuable" mod combinations. [INCURSION] Added "of Tacati" (attack/castspeed + chaos) to the "valuable" mod combinations. [INCURSION] Reduced the strictness for all incursion mod combinations [METAMORPH] Catalysts now have 2 tiers. [LEVELING] Adjusted life/mana/hybrid flask highlight levels to smoothen out progression [UNIQUES] Loreweave rings are no longer highlighted on Uber+ strict [BETRAYAL] Added a special section for 2x-veiled items. [BETRAYAL] Random (non-member specific) veiled items are now no longer highlighted on Uber-Strict. Filter and Styleversions Strictness-es are filter configurations the affect how much/little a filter shows. The general rule is that: as you clear faster, you want to pick up less, because in the time you'd take care of a higher quantity of items, you can kill more monsters and get a higher chance at rare loot. You can start with Regular/Semi-Strict first (great for new players and leagues) and simply up the strictness from the option menu, once you feel like you want to see less. Nr | Name | Short Description | 0 | Soft | Shows too much. Includes low crafting bases, magic jewellery in the endgame. Not recommended for regular gameplay. | 1 | Regular | Shows a lot. Recommended for beginners, new leagues and slow-clearing gameplay. Shows all rares. Good for chaos recipes. | 2 | Semi-Strict | Healthy balance. Great for new leagues and beginners and medium-speed endgame gameplay. Hides the worst rares. Good for chaos recipes. | 3 | Strict | Hides bad-base rares and scrolls. Universal and recommended endgame strictness. Hides random gems (hold alt in the first zone if you level with it). Bad for chaos recipes. | 4 | Very Strict | Hides most rares, scrolls, augments, armourers. Good for the endgame and for speed-farming. | 5 | Uber Strict | Hides all low currencies and rares. Great for quantity-farmers. | 6 | Uber+ Strict | Shows too little. Sterile screen. Hides all kind of stuff, including mediocre divination cards, all kind of crafting material etc. Recommended for speed-clearing quantity-parties or as a base for further editing. Not recommended for regular gameplay. | Styles have no effect on how strict the filter is, but change the visual and audio configuration. Find one that pleases your eye most or make your own on www.filterblade.xyz Style | Description | Default | The normal style. It uses a wide variety of colors and shadings to inform users about the drop type, value and properties. | Slick | A less colorful version of the normal style. | Gaia | (full restyle) Gaia is a nature-inspired style. It uses less colors, but is still very cheerful. | Vaal | (full restyle) A brick, corruption, blood and gore styled filter. | Crimson | (full restyle) Dark red hues, with some blues and purples in there. Similar to the Vaal filter, but different. | Velvet | (full restyle) Soft green, blue, grey and pink hues, this filter is inspired by oceanic and royal colorsets. | Blue | Minor changes. Changes the color of rares to blue. | Purple | Minor changes. Changes the color of rares to purple. | Azurite | A purple-cyan style, inspired by the delve league colors. | CustomSounds | Special style. The visuals are based of default, but the sounds are different and are provided in mp3 files. You have to copy the mp3 files too for the filter to work. You can also replace the sounds with your own mp3's to create your own soundset. | Thanks to... Valuable things to search for in your Organs tab Posted: 08 Jan 2020 04:09 AM PST GGG has recently mentioned the 'upcoming vendor recipe' for Organs, without mentioning what exactly it will be about, but it will, most likely, involve selling our excess Hearts, Lungs and Brains. The goal of this post is very simple. Talking to some people playing PoE, I've learned that quite a lot of people seem to mostly check for 'Currency' and 'Map' while trying to choose which Organ to use with their precious Eyes and Livers. Now that a lot of us will sell tons of Organs to vendors, I think it's especially important to make a list of all the search filters you should use to determine which Organs should be kept and which are useless. Obviously, there are some basic ones: But what are the very rare outcomes that are very easy to miss? I'm certain you've seen those at least once, but here's the full list anyway: Breachstone (this one is amazing: I haven't gotten Pure from it yet, but it does drop Breachstones upgraded by It That Fled) Beachhead (I've only seen it in red maps, but I assume the tier of Beachhead depends on the tier of Metamorph, so it's T15 in red maps!) League (this one is League-specific Unique - get ready for some heart attacks caused by Leather Belts) Valuable (this keyword catches several possibilities: valuable gem can go up to 2x lvl4 Enlightens or 21/23 gems; valuable currency shards often contains Exalted shards, and I assume even Mirror shards might be in its special loot table, even though I've never gotten any) 6-linked (speaks for itself, who doesn't want at least a divine orb) Abyss Unique (I have never gotten this one myself, so I've no idea what the weighting looks like, but some of the Abyss uniques are still valuable, so it's worth looking out for!) Scarab (I think it's worth keeping even Rusted Scarabs Organs, but if you want, you can search by 'Gilded' instead) Resonator (Fossilcrafting is very hot this league, and resonators sell well) Blight (this filter catches both the oils and the blighted maps - great value in both cases!) Legion (self-explanatory) And finally some questionable ones: 30% Quality (some of those might be good, but it's a huge gamble) Shaper or Elder (this is meant to be one keyphrase, it should only catch Jewellery; quite a lot of Shaper Jewellery is worth at least something at ilvl83, so this one isn't bad at all) Breach Blessing (this is a huge gamble, but this one is so rare that you might as well also keep it) Itemised (Prophecies; I'm not sure whether this one is worth it - but I have seen people posting getting things like Trash to Treasure x2 from it, so it might be worth your time, though I still highly advise making sure your filter hides all the crappy Prophecies first) Quality Gem (this one isn't even close to what 'Valuable Gem' drops, but still can give you something good) Talisman Unique (another huge gamble that might or might not be worth your time) Enchanted Helmet (and another gamble) And that concludes the list. If you have a huge quad-tab full of organs, you should pretty much just check with these filters first, and move the ones containing those words somewhere safe. And after that just make sure you train your eyes to immediately search for these things when you get a new Organ. Hopefully this helps at least someone! submitted by /u/Skraelos [link] [comments] |
StupidFatHobbit's Filter v3.9.1 - A Fuckload of Stuff Posted: 08 Jan 2020 09:46 AM PST 1/8/20 - v3.9.1 - A Fuckload of Stuff 3.9.1 - Sovereign General Pastebin 3.9.1 - Sovereign General Forums 3.9.1 - Sovereign Strict Pastebin 3.9.1 - Sovereign Strict Forums 3.9.1 - Sovereign UberStrict Pastebin 3.9.1 - Sovereign UberStrict Forums FilterBlast Preview Forum Thread Update History This is a massive update that took the better part of a week. As the notes are extensive I've divided them by section as best I could and provided a summary. No non-league launch update is ever mandatory but this is probably the biggest update I've ever released (only 2 ever came close, and none took as long as this did). Includes economy update for this league. Update Notes: Major Changes & New Features Summary: - Added a new Leaguestart Override block in Section 0 and moved a large number of blocks from the SSF and Race override to that section. The idea is that you enable only the section that is most relevant, with them listed in descending order of priority - all leaguestarts are essentially SSF and all races are essentially leaguestarts
- WARNING: RACING IS NOT THE SAME FUCKING THING AS LEAGUESTARTING! The Race Override block hides a number of items that are useful in actual leagues such as splinters, silver coins, and ALL divination cards. YOU WILL FUCK YOURSELF IN THE ASS IF YOU BLINDLY ENABLE ALL RACE OVERRIDES ON AN ACTUAL LEAGUESTART! Despite this warning and warnings around the override blocks themselves, I'm sure someone is going to fuck this up.
- The Race Override sections expects races to go no further than A10 Kitava. If the race proceeds to maps use the Leaguestart overrides instead
- Added some class/droplevel SSF override blocks in the middle of Section 11 (Rare highlighting). The intention is to be able to quickly show all rares of a particular class if you have gotten unlucky in that slot. Example: enabling the boot line will show all boots over droplevel 50. These blocks are all disabled by default and include all major archetypes
- Betrayal, Incursion, and Bestiary items now have tiering
- Major changes to Strict and Uber levelling sections (see below)
- New Summoner levelling section
- Influence section updated/rewritten, new IDcraft section added including corrupted items
- League-specific unique bases on new sound/icon
- Major restructures, entire sections merged/rewritten/deleted
Levelling: - Summoner Levelling section has been added and summoners formalized as the fourth archetype in the filter. The primary reason this was done was that so summoners can simply delete the other archetype sections to quickly make a summoner-oriented filter the same way the other archetypes already could. Previously summoners needed to significantly edit the caster section to optimize properly which is fucking weird because I've played a summoner every league for the past three years. A number of new summoner specific filterings have been introduced with this section including support for Cyclone/Holy Relic.
- Summoner assigned color is dark purple. Note that as there is overlap between Caster Levelling and Summoner levelling and Caster is located higher in the filter, meaning the items that overlap will have Caster (light blue) highlighting unless Caster is deleted.
- It's worth noting that with 4 different archetypes now present in the filter and them all being enabled by default, the General filter will feel a bit cluttered while levelling if zero edits are made. Setting your preferred links in Section 1 and deleting the irrelevant levelling sections are the two edits everyone should make when leaguestarting.
- The Copper and Ceremonial lines of shields have been moved to the Global Levelling section, with the Ivory line now being formalized as caster-only shields with sky blue border
- Race whetstone recipe now tightens up after A3 before being shut off entirely after A5. Previously there was no tightening until the A5 cutoff
- Essences in General have a larger font size, the race/leaguestart override for increased font size has been deleted as it's now unnecessary
- Extended level at which rare/magic caster weapons retain the light blue border (mainly due to the vendor recipe change)
- Extended level that util flasks retain sound and minimap icon in general to 72 from 67 and added stibnite and quartz to the list
- Extended level at which all 3+ socket gloves/helms show while levelling from 25 to 47
- Added silver coins to SSF overrides, adjusted a number of font sizes
Strict/Uber Levelling Adjustments: - Uber hiding mana/life flasks in the levelling ranges was providing a level of strictness that was virtually never needed, as even with full levelling gear prepared life flasks are usually still picked up en route. If you want the previous Strict level of filtering while levelling, use Uber while levelling now.
- Uber now shows life and mana flasks while levelling up until 67
- Note: this does potentially create some edge cases where high-quant sub-map farming winds up spamming a lot of low flasks in uber, such farming is not really present at all in the current meta and I don't anticipate it being an issue. Just delete that part of the flask section if you wind up in such a niche situation.
- Strict now provides a level of strictness in between the previous Strict and Uber. The assumption is that you're starting with Tabula/Goldrim/Wanderlust/Lochtonial but ideally you want to get rid of everything but the Goldrim/Tabula by the time you hit Kitava, and the Goldrim shortly thereafter. Therefore sometime during levelling you want to pick up rare gloves and boots
- Strict now shows rare gloves and boots from level 30-67 (starting roughly when 25% movespeed boots can start dropping to replace Wanderlust)
- Strict now shows rare helms from Blood Aqueducts up until 67
- Strict now shows white and magic top basetype rings (coral and the 6 resist bases), amulets (2-stat bases only) and Leather Belts from start until 67. This is mainly to provide bases for low-level essences to be used on.
- Note: these changes/sections are experimental and have been "spliced" in at the top of their respective sections (13 and 18) in Strict only. If I decide to keep them I'll clean it up next update
Structural Changes: - A large number of sections have been renamed/moved/delete/merged or otherwise altered for clarity or smoother future development. Remaining sections have been renumbered accordingly
- Currency section now contains 6L, has been renamed and moved up to become Section 2. This was done to prevent a rare conflict and to avoid having to write numerous exception blocks
- Removed exception 6L blocks from influence and other sections due to them no longer being necessary with 6L being located higher up in the filter
- Jewel and Socket sections have been merged together as Section 7 (as a sort of "sockets and socketables")
- Moved IDcraft out of Section 10 and into its own section (6)
- Corrupted items have been moved into the IDcraft section and the corrupted filtering has been significantly expanded, with limited IDcraft filtering applying to it. Most notably, corrupted jewels are now flagged due to the importance of CB immunity for Awakener. Note that as Breach rings always drop corrupted they've been moved out of the Rare filtering section and into this section
- Atlas bases have been merged into the "Influence & Atlas Bases" section which finally centralizes them instead of their filtering being split across 3 different sections
Special Explicit Mods: - Betrayal veiled items have been tiered with colored borders indicating importance. High priority master-specific veils are white, low-prio master specific silver, all weapons dark red (for trigger spells), jewellery lavender, quivers green (suffix only for frenzy charge). Adjusted a few other colors to match the new theme.
- Incursion items now have tiering based on the probability of the item being good. Red border indicates a probable good mod, white border indicates something of guaranteed value.
- Betiary items have also been tiered because why the fuck not. Crab/Spooder rings priority.
Influence: - The Influence section has been completely rewritten and is now named Influence & Atlas Bases. Themed colors have been added to the four new influence types with Shaper moving to a new color given Crusader's stronger claim to red.
- I have decided to use a different approach this time when it comes to high level influence bases. Instead of a border being added at 84+, borders (white) have been added at the specific ilvl that a particular influence base can roll key mods. Please note that this has been done on a per-class per-influence basis and was even more tedious than it sounds. The simple way to think about it is that if an influenced item has a white border it's probably worth picking up.
- Note that if the important mods are below all below 80 then no white border is added because there won't be some arbitrary price spike in the mid-80's, which is the main intention of the white borders.
- Please note that these white borders are not definitively defined, but very much curated based on current meta demand and perceived value. For example: I'm assuming nobody out there is rolling redeemer rings for % evasion or shaper/hunter rings for %xp gain
- Valuable but not top value influenced items now use a "semiwhite" highlight (and a new sound) simliar to top tier fossils instead of pure white background. Top value bases still use pure white
- Items that have two thresholds for increased value have borders and semiwhite highlighting at their respective tiers. Example: Hunter gloves have white border at 80 (for rolling DoT multiplier mods), but also have semiwhite highlighting at 85 on all bases because of unnerve/intimidate
- 80+ rings of all influences have their own brighter colored highlight due to the value of curse on hit mods
- Top bases (hubris circlet, titan gauntlets, imperial bow, etc) that can roll all the mods of the respective influences (83 for redeemer/warlord, 85 for all others) are all on the new semiwhite highlighting
- All influenced items above 75 have sound given their rarity
- Uber filter no longer hides any influenced items
IDcraft & Corrupted Items: - IDcraft is now it's own section and has been massively expanded and finally applies to jewels (was always meant to but a longstanding conflict prevented it). The total number of flagged mod/base combos has been nearly tripled and all the recently added mods such as the new +gem rolls on weapons have been added.
- Adjusted a number of sounds, consolidating similar item types on same sounds as much as possible and making further use of the lesser used sounds in the filter. Most notably the levelling link sound which was unused at high tier is now used for high value influenced bases and other valuable crafting basetypes. More changes coming in next update
- Uber filter hides corrupted jewellery that fails to pass any of the IDcraft checks but still shows corrupted jewels (for now)
League-Specific Item Changes: - Adjusted Catalyst and Metamorph Organ highlighting
- Removed sound, light, and minimap icons on the bottom tier of oils. Amber Oil moved up a tier so it's not in bottom due to it's blighted map usage
- Adjusted Blighted map highlighting and provided greater visual distinction betewen tiers
- Pre-emptively moved Emblems to white backgrounds ancitipating future GGG shenanigans a la Breachstones and Blight
- Revamped Talisman highlighting and applied IDcraft filtering to the section
- Warbands highlighting moved out of IDcraft and into the league-specific section where it more appropriately belongs
- Scarabs moved to brown hexagons as that's now the icon for things that go in the map device alongside maps such as map fragments
All Other Changes: - Added a corrupted map catcher block that tints the backgrounds of corrupted maps a slightly more reddish hue
- Special highlighting for "Vaal" prefix maps now overrides regular highlighting (dark red text)
- Increased font size on all incubators ot maximum
- All Awakened gems moved from high to maximum tier
- Awakener's Orb moved from divine to mirror tier
- Gem icons now use triangles instead of squares. Green for most, white for top tier
- 21 support gems are no longer on white backgrounds, only active skill gems are
- All noncorrupted nonunique 6L chests are now on a white background and sound. Previously applied only to those just above droplevel 60. Rest still use divine-style highlighting and sound
- 6s/5L now always use green squares, only 6L uses green stars
- Enchanted Item filtering: Removed all lights. Helmets retain sound and icon, as do boots that pass a few IDcraft checks. All other enchanted items no longer have sound or icon
- Adjusted 84+ filtering on jewellery atlas bases so 84+ is more easily distinguishable
- Changed a number of minimap icons for consistency and to capitalize on unused icon/color combos. Betrayal veiled now uses yellow triangle instead of yellow diamond. 6S uses green square instead of green circle
- Retiered Fossils & Incubators
- Removed a number of defunct blocks obsoleted by the new filter structure such as the old 6L exception blocks
- Removed a number of defunct and optional blocks which have been obsoleted by the new atlas changes
- Fixed an obscure bug in the armor levelling sections in Strict and Uber that fortunately did not have any impact on the filter, thanks Xai for bringing it to my attention
- Fixed The Catalyst div card showing up as...wait for it...a catalyst
- Large number of under the hood improvements for ease of editing
- Various innumerable small changes and highlighting adjustments that would be too tedious to list
Uniques: - League specific unique basetypes (grey border/text) now use blue stars instead of brown and also use the "uncertain" sound which is shared with unique jewels. If you see a blue star drop and you're not in a league specific area, you can safely ignore it unless it's early in the league.
- Moved all league-specific uniques to the "uncertain" sound that was previously used by jewels and maps.
- Blue stars now represent bases where the only valuable unique is league-specific. The idea is that if you hear the uncertain sound in a non league specific area (i.e. not in a legion or in a breach) but see a blue minimap icon, you can safely ignore the drop unless it's the start of a new league as it's going to be a low-value unique like prismweave or karui ward. If you hear the sound but see a red star, it means it's a unique jewel and you need to check it.
- Moved unique maps off the "uncertain" sound and onto standard unique sounds as there's nothing uncertain about their value. Added another tier of map highlights (3 now, previously 2).
- Brown stars with temp lights now always represent Variable Value basetypes that need to be checked. Yellow stars with permanent lights represent known/guaranteed value. Star size increases with potential value.
- Moved a number of uniques around into sections that better suited them
Unique Tiering Changes: - to LS: Jade Amulet, Paua Amulet, Strapped Mitts, Soldier Helmet, Holy Chainmail, Karui Chopper, Imperial Skean, Judgement Staff, Titanium Spirit Shield
- to max: Ornate Quiver, Silk Gloves
- to HV: Magistrate Crown, Serpentscale Gauntlets
- to UVV: Studded Belt
- to VV: Gold Amulet, Heavy Belt, Cloth Belt, Chain Belt, Iron Ring
- to HVLS/FL: Bronzescale Boots, Royal Sceptre
- to HVW: Fossilised Spirit Shield, Lacquered Buckler
- to SV: Crusader Plate
Divination Tiering Changes: - high to top: Enlightened, Craving, World Eater
- top to max: Samurai's Eye
- top to high: The Escape
- max to top: Alluring Bounty
Prophecies: - Prophecy economy section has been more or less recompiled. To top tier: Bishop's Legacy, Mentor To high tier: Fire, Wood & Stone, Bowsting's Music, Misunderstood Queen, Silverwood, Great Leader of the North, Master Seeks Help, Song of the Sekhema, Prodigious Hand, Hollow Pledge, King and the Brambles, Fire and Brimstone
- A large number of prophecies have been moved from bottom to default tier, especially fated and crafting-related prophecies
- Prophecies now use brown squares instead of blue triangles
Due to the size of this update I wasn't able to quite get in everything I had planned - this update was supposed to be before end of last year and it took me far longer than anticipated. Two things I promised would be in this update - block reordering (making sure all the lines in every block are in the same order for ease of editing) and a melee levelling rewrite to fully accommodate swords will be in the next update. As usual, the best way to stay up to date on the filter is to follow the forum thread or to add me ingame. With the filter's increasing popularity, the best way to ask me questions about it is over my stream twitch.tv/sfhobbit as I simply cannot type while playing. Any lengthy inquiries will always be directed to the stream if it is online. For those who feel inclined, I've finally set up a donation link on the stream for those who want to support development of the filter. submitted by /u/StupidFatHobbit [link] [comments] |

Is Dodge broken? Posted: 08 Jan 2020 12:08 AM PST I have capped spell dodge and ran some simple tests on low level metamorphs and betrayal encounters. Something is definitely off. Dodge, spell dodge, and evasion don't appear to be working at all on some attacks. Major offenders: the falling spirits metamorph effect, It That Betray's ground targeted orb These two appear to be complete unable to be dodged or spell dodged. Appreciation post for the Uber Elder fight design Posted: 07 Jan 2020 09:50 PM PST In light of the criticisms to the Sirus fight, I want to say how much I enjoy the Uber Elder fight. There is always something to engage with. You're smacking elder, smacking shaper, killing portals, hitting shaper's portal spawns, etc. You're dodging attacks while positioning yourself optimally to dps your next target. No dancing around the arena in the few safe spots during invuln phases, there's always something to hit. It's a blast from start to finish. submitted by /u/Roguemjb [link] [comments] |

Yet another price check tool "Awakened PoE Trade". Is it any good? Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:53 AM PST | Still sane, Exile? This week is full of new tools. Not missing the opportunity to compete, I decided to show my development results. My expected goal is simple: speed up price checking, combine several tools in one program, and increase usability. Short demonstration [YouTube] Awakened PoE Trade [Github] Be sure to check it out, there are screenshots for those who do not have the opportunity to watch the video, a detailed description of what is ready and what is not. And of course the download link. Price checking Gem The following part must probably go to /r/pathofexiledev Disclaimer: I started development on January 2. Why did I decide to start a new project, rather than improve existing tools? Because I think that I can do better. Well, you know this is the ego of man. Using the correct set of technologies (electron, vue, async js language), I am focused on the functionality of the program, rather than fighting with things like auto updates (TradeMacro users here? Please do not install me on your Desktop. We found an update, let's do another backup, are you sure you want to overwrite my holy files?). Let's quickly analyze: - TradeMacro, TradesCompanion: uses AHK, who wants to learn it? I wanted more interface, well ... Have you seen the GUI code?
- MercuryTrade: abandoned, uses Java, classes, classes, classes, not intended for interfaces. I don't think that a trade operation in PoE is comparable to a bank transfer. Sarcasm, of course, it is.
- You can say that "but library X appeared that solves problem Y," but if you replace the library for a big problem, then it turns out that we are rewriting the program. Unfortunately, until now, for some reason, no one has done this, should it be me? Why will I try to rewrite the program on technology that I myself do not know much?
- Other tools: a very small part has been implemented; to finish them to the end is equivalent to a complete rewrite.
At the same time, is it not wonderful that the requirements for creating a new tool from scratch and my knowledge coincide? And now coming back from January 2 to today: My attitude to "Sidekick" As I said at the beginning of the post, I want to compete with others. Although Net core is cross-platform, but they still have not found a library to capture input devices. If this is not resolved, then I hope that at least my program can be used on Linux. I really hope that the community will continue to improve Sidekick, I would be very interested in how they will collect modifiers in order to use it for the boundaries of a possible roll (will they just take files from ItemInfo?). I would also pay attention to the implementation of language support. submitted by /u/kurisaka [link] [comments] | |
