Heya guys! I just bought nearly full coc gear, using 1 cospris and a Lycosiadea. Was wondering if there is any guide on using 1x cosp and a Shield. I can only find guides on using 2x cospris. Also if there is any nice PoB for this setup with shield since i recon its more tankier with shield than with 2x cospris.

I'm trying this build. Forbidden sun Would it be good to use a rare quiver with (Bow attacks fire an additional arrow) until I get the voidfletcher? any other good cheaper option for quiver that fits the build?

I'm a pretty new in PoE. So far I've played arc witch, storm brand inquisitor and right now leveling a molten strike marauder. In 3.10 I wanted to try some bow based build (nothing complicated or very expensive to build) so, any suggestions for a newbie player?

Trying to make a Poet's Pen impale build...

Hey guys,

I've been trying to sketch out and cobble a build using 2x poet's pens; one with ethereal knives and one with bladefall, and stacking impales on barrage. I've kept the focus on 100% physical damage to keep things simpler and more efficient. Here is my current progress:

I feel like the tree is somewhat of a mess; I'm not sure if I should be actively going after the projectile damage nodes, and I'm almost certain I need more defensive nodes checked off. Also, what are the generally good cwdt combo's that people use to keep up some good defenses? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Edit* If Ethereal knives is going to most likely be my most damaging skill, should I support that with Impale or Barrage for the most dps?

Hello,

I am trying to make the build: Self Cast Astral Projector Discharge Hierophant work. I've been lucky this league and have a few exalts to throw at this problem.

It's super dense and have no idea how to make it more efficient. Also how does arcane surge work, that's a decent amount more damage. I think there's enough charge generation from Voll's clothes but maybe not

Tips for a novice build-creator?

Build creating tips for a complete novice? I want to work on a "holy" themed witch, ranger, or scion and had a few questions:

it sounds like POB is the go-to for theory crafting. How close is POB to actual gameplay numbers?
I'm assuming I should keep checking the trade sites to make sure I don't accidentally slot mirror-tier gear.
How much DPS is considered "good enough"? I never made it to end-game. I also don't know how much EHP is really required. I would see one guide say 5k HP is fine, while another lists 5k HP is a con. They were both evasion builds so the type of defense didn't really seem to be the factor.

Is it better to just use poe.ninja?

here's the LocalIdentity POB link: https://pastebin.com/MDG8n15Z i used items from my divine ire totem build since they're both lightning skills with EB/MOM and a fairly close fit but i could definitely use more build fitting gloves for a 5L.

Taking the +2 skill points to try and grab a bunch of life
ascend saboteur with chain perfect crime, chain reaction, born in the shadows, and Pyromaniac

skills
lightning trap with cluster traps, traps and mines damage, controlled destruction, lightning pen, and LMP in the chest
wave of conviction, trap, cluster traps, physical to lightning in hte gloves
cast on stun, steelskin, increased duration, desecrate in the boots
wrath, skitterbots, herald of thunder, and a chaos golem in the helmet
flamedash, arcane surge, faster casting either weapon
tempest shield, increased duration, power charge on crit either weapon

I'm not sure about LMP in the 6l just think it would increase the chance to hit more than once, and wave of conviction could be made into a 5l with the right gloves.. "NEEDED" Uniques
devouring diadem for eb/mom combo, saves two skill points can switch in later
light of lunaris for block chance as crit multi
rumi's concoction for +20 block chance
Tinkerskin for life and ES on trap activation and frenzy charges

While it is a little heavy on uniques, they aren't super rare after a week and until then i can just use good rares.

Hey, so i have made a darkness runner scion based on Brittleknee's guide, and i want to use it to farm 500 chests in lab, in order to do that i crafted high spell damage bow, bench crafted chaos damage over time and put soulrend with other support gems inside, more in pob pastebin( https://pastebin.com/5JiCDCSy ) im zooming thrugh lab but killing izaro takes to long.

Im wandering what can i do to kill him faster, only things that i can change is weapon and/or skill gems and maybe adding some curse on hit or totem, i dont know what would be the best.

I had an idea and i was trying to sketch something in POB around it, it's a Voltaxic Rift Trickster using Divine Ire (or any other spell that scales well).

Can someone give me any feedback on the POB and new ideas/suggestions?

The POB itself is just a sketch and i know the resists needs to be fixed and the rares aswell with HP mods.

Delve viability, Poison BV/ED-Contagion/CoC-Cospri's

Trying to make up my mind on a Shadow build for next league, planning to focus mostly on Delve, with a personal goal of 1000-2000 depth. Planning to level/league start as Poison BV or ED-Contagion and Regret into CoC-Cospri's once I can afford it from early (100-200 depth) delving. Planning to spend no more than 5ex on the starter gear before saving for the CoC build (*if* it doesn't get a gigantic nerf. May still consider running it as CwC instead)

Questions are:

Is it reasonable to bring an ED-Contagion league starter with barebones gear into early Delve, or would another currency farming method be optimal? I already know running it as Assassin is a bit awkward, but I can live with it.
How expensive is it to get Poison BV viable? Is it on the same cost scale as most league starters or is it a bit more expensive?

Edit: I'm usually pretty poor. This was the first league I ever saw an Exalted drop, first I ever even encountered an endgame map boss. That being said, Blight map farming (casually) saw ~100 ex over the course of this whole league for me.

SST variations

I've been mapping for a while on my first build. It isn't one I want to invest heavily in, so I want to start a second one with the idea of funnelling a decent amount of currency in over time. I'd like it to be able to tackle end-game bosses feasibly (not necessarily face tank or insta-phasing, just do-able if I'm not shit).

I do like the look of SST (seems Fun™️). There seems to be a few variations of it dotting around in guides, but also variable commentary on how good it actually performs as an end-game content build. I've spotted Phys, Cold conversion and Bleed versions so far (Deadeye and Gladiator being popular it seems), but after having a read through , I'm not getting a good feel for whether or not they fit the bill.

Does anyone have any input for 3.9 SST options? Open to suggestions. Thanks nerds.
