    I have been waiting and hoping for this a while now, but all you do is throw More stuff on the screen to make performance even worse (elderslayer influences). Its coming to the point where it starts to be almost unplayable most of the time.

    If you dont believe me, take map, mission, beyond, scarabs and influence on top if you can. Influence by its own with some mob quantity Will do the trick too.

    Taking sounds off from the files seems to make it much better, but i would like to play sounds on and it is really annoying.

    Or atleast i hope Poe 2 Will bring some optimization.

    Sorry GGG you gave us a taste of that QOL and is too late to take it back now, I know you don't want ppl just staring at the minimap instead of the game, but those markers are just TOO GOOD to play without.

    Blade Vortex with Intensify - no one has a clue how it works

    I can't find an answer to the problem i have anywhere. Blade Vortex interaction with Intensify Support gem. There is no information about this on both official forums and reddit.

    So, i thought so far, that Intensify stacks just increase damage / reduce AoE of Blade Vortex in real time. But after testing, i think it is totally opposite.

    What do i mean?

    Technically, after casting Blade Vortex, and getting 4 Intensify stacks, i should get increased damage and reduced AoE, provided that i stand still and don't move, and then when i lose stacks, for example by moving, i should immediately gain AoE range and lose damage, even without recasting Blade Vortex.

    However, i tested it, and it seems to work completely different.

    While i was testing it, i did the following:

    a) i casted Blade Vortex until i had 4 Intensify stacks

    b) i checked the range radius with those stacks - i checked at what range monsters will start to get damaged(the visuals of Blade Vortex is obviously flawed, i just looked at distance from monsters)

    c) i started moving to drop my Intensify stacks without recasting Blade Vortex

    d) repeated point b) - i checked the radius without stacks

    It appears, that after losing Intensify stacks, i have same AoE radius of Blade Vortex as I had with 4 stacks, before i started moving and losing those stacks. I have this AoE radius until i re-cast Blade Vortex.

    Following this, i can deduce, that the same happens with Intensify damage.

    Here is my question: is my reasoning right?

    There are 2 possibilities:

    a) Snapshotting:

    the game remembers situation of last casted Blade Vortex - how many Intensify stacks i had when i casted it last time. Then after moving, provided that i didn't cast Blade Vortex after that, even if I lose stacks, i keep dealing same damage and have same AoE range as if I had as many Intensify stacks as when I last casted Blade Vortex. Then, if i recast Blade Vortex with different amount of stacks, then the AoE radius changes. Basically AoE Radius and Damage from Intensify doesn't change in real time.

    b) this is ridiculous possibility, but maybe somehow each blade is remembered separately, and each blade has assigned separate Intensify stacks to it.

    Possible consequences of first option:

    Interaction of Blade Vortex with Unleash support.

    While effect of Unleash reocurrs , the connected skill deals less damage. If option a) is true, it could mean that if last casted BV ended with Unleash reocurring the supported skill, the skill itself, which is Blade Vortex, will deal less damage, but will deal normal damage, if last casted Blade Vortex wasn't reoccured by Unleash support.

    [Edit] There was a post by Rory Rackham, responsible for Balance and Design, who said that with Unleash, damage of Blade Vortex is not reduced. In this situation, I'm helpless and I have no clue how Blade Vortex interacts with Intensify.

    3.10 Prediction: Aslyum League

    My bold prediction for 3.10 is a spiritual successor to Synthesis that will serve as a test case for the new random layout generator that they will be adding in PoE 2.0.

    The Aslyum league mechanic would be similar to the Nexus where you zone into a specific room to start with and gradually work our way through a maze. Every time that you zone into a different room, the exit and entrance of the previous areas will randomize, giving you that "haunted mansion" feel. Larger rooms will fork into more smaller rooms until you eventually can't progress further. Once you've reached the "end" of your maze, you will start a boss encounter similar to Shaper/Elder where a ghost of an exile lost in the Atlas will float in.

    This would be a chance to further develop the Conquerors of the Altas plotline with the exiles Zana left trapped in the Atlas.

    [Discussion] Potential bug? Binding warcries to left click allows you to walk until you allocate "Battle Cry" on the tree, in which case it stops working.

    Is this a bug or is it intended? I have enduring cry on my left mouse button, but it prevents me from walking around only after I have allocated the node Battle Cry. I'm wondering if it's because making it instant makes it all one click instead of two separate possible actions or something?

    Dumbest things you've ever done in the game?

    Last night I found my first Ascetic unique gold amulet on my SSF character and thought it would be great to help me start a new character I've been thinking about.

    Had to organize my inventory since I had it so full and sold off all the extra stuff, then went to put it in the new space... Only to realize that I had sold it too...

    Made me think back to my very first character back at the tail end of legion. One of the first unique world drops was a tabula and I had no idea what to do with it, so it just sat in my inventory.

    The above is a survey by a company called KAKAO, which is serving in Korea.

    I have been POE since 2013.

    Korea Gateway opened in 2019 and moved the service to KAKAO.

    But I regret it now. They try to get rid of everything I've done so far and start again. If you do not bypass the VPN, you will not be able to connect.

    I and many exiles are very worried about that situation.

    Don't throw GGG away from Korean users.

    Please give us a choice.

    I want to go back to GGG.

    Korea's KAKAO has no service spirit.

    Learning everyday, what do I do with Tier 1 talismans?

    I have about 10 of them sitting in my inventory but not sure what to do with them and if they're worth anything. I did a quick google search and saw that it was apparently something with an old league. So regardless, are they worth anything and if so how much? Thanks for the help!

    What is GGG's view on resetting delve runs (dropbears, beyond, etc.) for LVL100/ XP races?

    TLDR; running and resetting specific easy delve nodes mindlessly for XP only have kind of ruined ssf races to 100

    As someone who semi-seriously race for lvl 100s in SSF, it's probably been ignored lately because last league had a huge Boss killing race instead, but the best, and by far most boring way to race to 100 has been to max out on sulphite (by doing stuff like forcing camerias in betrayal non-stop and guaranteed, spamming 11 straight-to-boss red maps to spawn niko missions, etc) and then just running one single node of dropbears delves at the lowest lvl 83 monster zone and logging out to character selection before the node finishes. Hours after hours of it.

    You use a ~20 seconds timer of killing bears (or beyond monsters on the rare nodes) at the end of the node before logging out, you get all the xp, you get no loot(adds a lot to the tedium it's so boring to play PoE without items), and you do two of these per minute from 95 to 100 until you burnout or reach 100. If you want to beat the competition it's a near must (there's a lot more variance in hardcore of course), the experience per hour is about DOUBLE what a very good SSF build can get chain mapping good T16s.

    TBH I'm not expecting this to get very positive replies, especially after the league that literally had the least level 100 race focus yet, this is kind of a hail mary attempt at a change.

    It's a pretty niche part of the game for a small minority, but for players who try for these goals just changing the delve XP to be given at the same time as the loot drops (aka the node is finished and you cant re-run it) would solve it and make the end grind so much more fun and dynamic (Lvl 98 to 100 dropbearing 20 hours a day was pure torture at the end). It sounds really simple and straightforward but there might be technical hurdles for GGG, I hope not.

    It probably doesn't seem like an issue to a lot of people who havent even seen this type of grind because in trade leagues it's completely overshadowed by people or teams with headhunters and pure breachstones farming that are able to surpass the delve resetting meta for 100, but it's still a very real issue for some grinders who love(d) racing to 100.

    *ps: if I wasnt clear, I have nothing against players using this. I started doing it too once I realized how good it was and that I had no shot with normal mapping against those who ran delve resets. People will do what's best in games to win competitions, even if there are no prizes. I do believe it's on GGG to change this eventually, but I don't think its high in their priority list at all, I'm just hoping it's at least on their radar.

    I'm a relatively new player and would like to start SSF. I've played Metamorph league late, mid-Jan, and have beaten Sirius and collected only 16 marbles? so far. I haven't had much time to play but it's been fun.

    I am now wanting to start SSF and would like to start with right build from the get go. I prefer summoning builds but anything that will get me through SSF as painlessly as possible will work. Thanks in advance!

    Trying to Learn the Game

    I don't want to waste your time so questions first, explanations later:

    1. Is PoE Vault a good/reliable source for build guides?
    2. What is the general flow/map of progression?
    3. Are maps the end-game? How do I get to that point?

    I have played PoE a little bit before, but I only managed to beat the story and didn't know where to go from there. I want to give it another try! And I really want to learn the ins and outs.

    Of course I will be using a build guide. I have no idea which one yet, but I wanted to make sure that PoE Vault is a good source for builds. If you have any suggestions on builds for the metamorph league feel free to shout them out. It would probably need to be a low-budget build.

    I know that I first need to beat the story, but what then? Where do delves fit in? Maps?
    After beating the story can you sort of chose your own end game, or do some come before others?

    I've watched a streamer play maps, and that looks like the end game that I'm looking for. If I can jump right into maps after beating the story, then great! If not, I would love to know what I need to do in order to start doing maps.

    I plan on joining the Discord later today.
