| Cospri's CoC Cyclone/Ice Nova - League Starter or 2nd character? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 05:00 PM PST As the title. Accomplished my (very) modest goals for the season, now I'm just experimenting with builds for the next one. Trying to figure out if this build is viable as a league starter, or if I should just power through a summoner (ugh) when next league starts to build up a little currency first. Build I'm referencing came from Chet_Mixx's build on poe ninja, while I was looking for non-mine, non-HoAG CI Delve builds between 1000 and 2000 depth: https://pastebin.com/994B9fXX I'm shit at estimating what it will take for a build to have a basic level of viability - which I define as able to do upper yellow/lower end red maps, but not yet fully optimized. Cospri's is currently ~2ex, but I'm not sure how much that costs in the first week of a league. There's some rare gear in here that will probably be a bit pricey to optimize, and I'm okay with that. Is it reasonable to expect I can make the build function enough for low end delve (100-150ish) with just a random 6-link to start out with? If I can do that, I'm fairly comfortable with the prospect of saving up for the Cospri's as I work toward a goal depth. [link] [comments]  | ||

| SkeleMages plz halp I must be Pepega Posted: 12 Feb 2020 08:40 PM PST If anyone has experience with SkeleMage builds I seriously need help. I'm fairly new to the game as this is the first league I've killed any boss's. But I ran a SRS build most of the league and got bored with it today and overhauled my build to a SkeleMages build because I enjoy running blighted maps to farm currency, and skele mages looks busted for blighted maps. The build I found I followed very closely, invested around 15-20ex for my gear and it legit does zed dps and I cant figure out why.... The POB for the build I followed, his skelemages do around 500k with maping gems (Greater Multiple Projectiles/Pierce, vs Slower projectiles and Hypothermia for single target) and my mages legit do 70kdps...... and I cant for the life of me find what he did different to be getting 8x the damage... what I did find is that his skeles do have around 30% crit chance, vs mine that have 0% but again I cant find anywhere where he gets flat crit for minions. | Newbie shadow asassin, pls help ^^ Posted: 12 Feb 2020 05:37 AM PST Hello guys, i'm new to the game, just a few questions about this... - Do passive talents like Stabbing Thirst or Sleight of Hand work only when i have 1 dagger equipped ? or can i have 2 daggers equipped ? What if i have a dagger in main hand and another weapon in offhand (sword or mace or whatever) ? - After selecting all my "dagger" talents, should i aim for the dual wielding ones ? - What's the difference between Accuracy and Global Accuracy ? - How critical strike chance works ? i see alot of talents that cumulated, give way over 100% crit chance... how does it work ? - Power charge or Frenzy charge ? How do i generate it ? (power charge seems waaaaay better... but idk) - Any game changer talents i should know about shadow asassin ? like one that will significantly improve quality of killing :) Thank youuuuu !!! | Next League Start - Between 2 builds Posted: 12 Feb 2020 07:17 PM PST Hey, so I've been trying to figure out some builds for the 3.10 league start because that is mostly what I am looking forward to at this point. I have two builds I really want to make, and would like some input on which one would be better to be the league start and which one to go later/second to pump currency into. This is all assuming that these skills are unchanged in 3.10 patch notes. Orb of Storms/Storm Brand Assassin Blade Vortex Assassin I don't know a ton about how well these abilities scale so optimally I would like to know if they get sick with scaling (like killing end bosses in a couple seconds) that would be a good option for a second build, and if one or both of them are decent league starters. In terms of the BV build I don't really care if it's poison or ele, but would like to know the pros/cons of both. | Reverse engineering Ichimonji+Indigon build Posted: 12 Feb 2020 02:55 PM PST I found a build on poeninja with this level 100 ascendant using dual ichimonji, QoTF, and indigon. Russian dude, he was missing all skill links on his character, as well as one of his ascendancy choices. His poe.ninja I have a rough PoB built from this, though I have never played Indigon before. Idk if his other ascendancy was Trickster or Hierophant, both seem good for this type of build. | Newbie to SSF and CI, think I might have screwed myself? (Pyroclast Miner) Posted: 12 Feb 2020 10:34 AM PST So I started SSF following this build guide: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2628498 But despite saying SSF it didn't really have any directions as to how to gear when you aren't trade league (it seems like everyone says their guide is SSF even if there is no content regarding it's viability at all...) So after putzing around feeling a bit squishy, I looked around at other guides and found this one: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2660573 Which mentions CI as an easy way to get good defenses and can be put together easily with SSF gear. Tired of feeling weak, I decided to make the move to this build despite only having VERY bad gear for ES. (To be fair my current gear at the time was also VERY bad but it wasn't ES and VERY bad which seems to be worse) This was probably a mistake. Being a complete newbie (I started only this season, and this is only my second character) I did not realized that a) Bad energy shield gear is far worse than bad hybrid/life gear and b) how much regret I would have to spend changing my skills So anyway, long story short I am now CI with 3.5k ES, a bit less damage and 0 regrets left to undo this mess. On the neutral side, I am only just about squishy as I was before, I just can't use healing potions anymore If you were in my position (crap gear, SSF, no respeccing possible anymore), short of restarting completely, what would you do? | Looking for best build to utilize HH/Savior Posted: 12 Feb 2020 06:58 AM PST I'm planning to make one final build for the league and want a melee build that can best utilize HH and Savior. Would like it to be a pretty fast mapper and very good boss killer, cuz Metamorphs. Nothing squishy, though not being able to face tank the entire world is ok. Not interested in cyclone as I've been playing a CoC character and Zombies/Skeles most of the league using cyclone. I have about 40ex in raw currency at the moment and if I decided to fully invest in this build I could sell off my CoC gear for probably another 60 to 70ex. I also have a Bottled Faith to utilize. All 9 stats are relevant to my icicle mine build including global crit multiplier - the only thing it doesn't have is increase critical chance! Will this matter? | Looking for efficient Sirus/UE build. Posted: 12 Feb 2020 09:01 AM PST Hello all, I currently clear Sirus/UE with a Baron Necro. The build is really strong but quite miserable to play(cluttered screen, boring, laggy for P4 Sirus, etc). Been playing about a month now so my knowledge on builds and their capabilities is rather low. I'm looking for something to clear the major bosses with efficiency similar or greater to my necro(has 20ex in gear). This character will only be used for the major bosses - BV poison does the mapping/conquerors. Willing to level something new but i don't mind respecing the necro to occ/ele. I also have a templar(fp totem) that I could respec or gear. I have looked at a lot of builds on poe ninja but with limited experience I'd rather hear from others as to what is efficient/enjoyable. BUDGET- 40ex to start but my playtime is high so farming more isn't an issue EXCLUDING- pet builds and miners(saving this for league start next season) Thanks everyone! [link] [comments]  | ||
