I've been tinkering with this in PoB for a while now and the dps is just so god awful. I can't think of what to do to increase the dps.

Are passive shield nodes on the tree worth it for the damage?

I'm trying to find some ways to scale attack damage so are the nodes that give attack damage while holding a shield worth the points? They always seem to be clusters of 4.

What’s Favorite Boss Killer League Starters

I'm curious as to what everyone's favorite boss killer league starter is and why. If there's a video/POB/guide that's a plus! I'm personally not into mines: prefer to be a bit tankier and too many button presses.

I know we can't decide on what to play until we see new league patch notes, but it's interesting to see what people value in boss starter builds in general.

I have seen numerous builds like this one https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2092338 and would like some reviews about them. Are they just decents and cheap starters or do they actually carry you to end game and beyond? (with some investment of course)

Unique take on HoAg Pathfinder - Need more eyes please

Basically I rolled the -9 fire/chaos on the helm while playing magma orb and started going crazy on how to utilize both.

Pristine + Scorched + Chaos

1st Double corrupt

Consuming dark converting 60% of fire to chaos, and increasing poison chance achieving 100%

+60% fire damage x2

+ int - minor bonus

Issues;

I can kill myself by hit damage somehow if I lob a few rounds of orbs into a pack sometimes I die before I can leech back to full.

Damage - Has a pseudo 7 link for magma orb, and a 6 link HoAg

While doing magma orb I used wands before switching to consuming dark and power charges. Its all open to change though, maybe PoH 6-link magma orbs?

Good starter to transition in to deep delving

Hey everyone. As the title suggest im looking for a starter build to transition in to focusing on delving. Is scourge arrow elemental damage still strong after the nerfs from 3.9? If it is can you also start out like that or does it require amazing gear to even get started? Also looking for other suggestions if there is a better route to go.

Hello, currently I am playing this build. I'm able to do AW Lvl 8 Conquerors and Sirius too. But the damage is INMO still a little low. Is there still anything I could do to improve my DPS? Should I take out Temporal Chains? - I don't know if I feel its effects on the Sirius Fight...

Tips to improve defenses?

Basically Mathil's Voidforge Inquisitor but any tips to improve survivability? Tips/suggestions to improve DPS is fine as well but survivability is my top priority. I occasionally will get one shotted by certain bosses/metamorphs and I want to try and fix that.

Hey, I love the skill. Ultimate endgame goal is necro cwc or shadow coc vd. Best way to level, earn currency and Respec? (30 points or so). Or its not recommended to start without gear?

League starter for HoA Mana Guardian transition?

I'm planning to run an HoA Mana Guardian next league, but have heard its a really bad idea for a starter. I truly hate leveling so I want to start as Templar.

What would be the best starter? Preferably something that doesn't have to completely respec and regear but I'm willing to do that if there's a starter that is way more powerful. I plan to play the starter for ~2 weeks tops before transitioning.

Appreciate any suggestions!

Bonus question: If HoA gets nerfed in the patch is there another strong solo mana guardian setup or should I give up on it?

Iceshot/barrage deadeye hardstuck at 95

I've been playing this character the whole league and I die, a lot. Mostly to random oneshots.
Needless to say I just copied the build when the league started and I still don't understand what is happening (game is hard).

Improving my zombiemancer!

Hey guys!

Im currently a level 97 zombiemancer. Started to look around on Poe ninja and i dont see so many people using elegant hubris, i heard thats its really good, but as i can see most are using lethal Pride. Could you please check my PoB or profile to see if you see anything i can change or upgrade!

Also not sure if i should try the skelemancer instead and/or try out using geofris armor instead, but i recon i have to change alot in my build then?

So, that's my very first day on the game and the skill tree was just way overwhelming to me. I'm quite lost.

I want to play a melee dual wielder that has a lil bit of magic u know. Maybe mostly just magical melee attacks. Idk.

I started a marauder, and it seems it's does not dip much in magic stuff, but I could be wrong. Since I just began it would be really easy to switch to some other if needed.

So to the point.

Question 1 - can I possibly do what I want with a marauder? Or should I switch to templar?

Question 2 - how the hell am I supposed to spend my points in this passive skill tree to accomplish that?

Question 3 - if I duck the skill tree, which I probably will, can I reset or something later?

Looking for a high ES/DMG build

Hi guys, currently doing a baron necro which i can make a shit ton better but instead i think i'm going to try another character for the purpose of the upcoming new league next month so i can decide within this league what i'm doing next one.

Looking for a class that goes through packs easy and kills bosses without a hassle. Ofcourse i understand you need to invest for this but i also want a fun build!

Could be a melee or hunter.

Already got a 48 lvl Pathfinder so any builds for that would be great. Currently don't have much curreny but don't mind spending a little and further invest through gains from the character made.

Preferably with a forum link or account link so i can check it up.

Thanks in advance! For yet another build request, would use forums but i kinda get confused on the pages and figure usually it's not updated properly or it has 950 pages which i have to go through to ensure the build is still good.
