The ideal is Arakaali's Fang + the entire Fenumus set, but I'm not really sure what the actual core of the build would end up being. My first thought was something poison, considering all of the chaos damage to spells and such on the Fenumus items, but I'm still not really sure where to go from there. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:35 PM PDT So I recently got a abyssus with 40% Ground Slam so I went looking for a build. I found one, strength stacking with pillar of the Caged god. Found one 6L for 30c, got a 21/23 Vaal GS for 1ex. This is a Furty Build, not familiar with him. Anyways he doesn't use clusters so I am trying to variate from that to add some big fatty clusters. https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ground-slam-slayer-build-guide Main aspect of build is Kaoms heart but its a strictly physical build. | Need advice for survivability - Rainbow golem caster Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:42 PM PDT Looking for some advice for what I can do to bump up my survivability, as I still eat it in maps sometimes. The golems don't die, just me. PoB: https://pastebin.com/VjXEfpf8 Build concept: stacking golem buff effect with 9 golems, getting (after lv21 golems, still need to buy those) 1140 life regen, 43% phys dmg reduction, 950+% generic increased damage, 86% atk/cast spd. Option to run Ice Golem as well for a large crit chance/accuracy boost. I know there are some obvious things that I can improve on: more life on gear, more appropriate 2h or weap+shield (with a 6l chest), levels, gem levels. However, I'm wondering if there is anything significant that can be done to add some heft to the build without breaking the bank, as I'm not a super wealthy boy. I'm open to any ideas. I don't have any attachment to my current gear+skills. Things I've considered: -Rebuilding tree, pathing to acro/phase acro -Using Wave of Conviction for main 6l, getting curse on hit gloves -Switching herald+rings+skill -Ditching chest to wear something like a Kaom's -Spellslinger setup? I know that I end up missing that 1 'thing' that really brings a build together, and I'm sure there's something I'm missing that would bring everything together better. [link] [comments]  | ||

| New Player looking for help with build Posted: 05 Apr 2020 03:53 PM PDT Hey all - recently started and really loving this game so far. I've tried to look through some beginner videos and other resources but there's just a lot to digest so I've mostly just been playing and winging it. The first build always sucks anyway, apparently. I just finished Act 1 and while I died about 6-7 times, I did kill Merveil. For the most part, all the hoards and waves of shit leading up to bosses don't trouble me so much. I don't one-kill things but I make it through usually without much panic. Brutus and Merveil were tough, however. I wanted to post my entire set-up in the helps that people would be willing to let me know what I'm doing right/wrong and how best to tweak things to maximize my potential. I know moving forward things will only get more difficult. Here's my character stats: Here's what my character has equipped and their corresponding gems:
So far I really like Whirling Blades. My two most used attacks thus far have been Viper Strike and Ethereal Knives. I love EK but I want to really enhance that. I also want to do more AOE damage or chained damaged. Whatever can help knockout large crowds. Viper Strike is my go-to attack, and it's been great. Lastly, I'll share my Skill Tree, which I'm sure is a hot mess. Any help anyone can give would be hugely appreciated! As I said, I'm really really loving this game, and I don't want to hit a wall where I'm getting one-shot and it frustrates me to the point of wanting to stop playing. As I struggle through to get a good weapon and looking on trade the kinda weapon I need cost around 40ex (hopefully it's just overpriced) I wanted to see if it would be really expensive to craft my own wand that would be really good for my Storm brand / Archmage Heirophant critter! | Need help finding a build for me. Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:38 PM PDT I recently liquidated my BV Poison build after falling out of love for it around t16 maps. It was fast, smooth and farmed currency like crazy but it drove me nuts every time I ended up just getting popped. I enjoyed the speed and I've never farmed as much currency as I did playing it but dying so often is excruciating to me, it made me genuinely hate the build I was playing. That's what I liked and disliked about it, I'm not very good at searching for builds myself but I can provide a budget and a general idea of what I want. Looking at Poe.Ninja is weird for me because I prefer to actually see it in action and get a feel for it, which is sort of hard through skill tress and gear sets only. I have 21 Exalts and 681 Chaos and I have all alt gear bought as well so that is the true amount I can invest into a character. I've been looking at Arc and Stormbrand builds but it seems most people that ran them have now switched them out for other builds, my friends included. How much a build costs before it can farm t16 maps is really important to me, I don't want to have to blow all of my exalts before the build can even begin to farm, otherwise I would have just stayed with the BV build that could farm endlessly but made me want to die everytime I ((died)). I'm open to all kinds of builds but I'd prefer something not slow and just smooth running through maps, I'd also like to do Uber Elder and A8 Sirus for the first time ever so a build that has that potential as well is something I'd be after. I know this might seems like a lot to ask for in one build but that just goes to show how new I am to this. But I do however want a really strong map clearer that can at least handle bosses at endgame since I usually end up making most of my currency farming conquerors/boss drops. The Cospri build seems to tick all those boxes, insane damage and clear with good single target, I'm just not sure about the survivability side of things, especially with delirium. I played it back in legion and while it was crazy fun I also remember getting one-shot alot. Would my new and improved budget fix this at all or is it just the nature of the build? | Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:32 AM PDT Right before league start (literallly 30 min before) I threw together a flicker build that was going to be easy and cheap and fun. It has been all three of those; the only limit to getting through acts and into mapping was my available time to play. Now, at T11 maps, I'm struggling, and I haven't figured out why. Clear is beautiful, especially on maps that are tight. I have cyclone for Delving, and use it on bosses too when I need to be more mobile/technical than flicker allows. (The less technical fights I hold flicker and spam flasks.) Anyone care to find what I've missed/where I've gone wrong? Please? [link] [comments]  | ||

I've been 94 for 5 days and Iam at 8% (i.e. I keep popping from full ES to h/o). here is my build: https://pastebin.com/j8ypDEYV (add passives of cluster jewels up to energy of Naught). I've 150ex from various sells to burn and I don't know where to go....all upgrades I have left are mainly DPS upgrade (I've 3.6m dps, and that enough I think). Am I doing something wrong ? | Posted: 06 Apr 2020 12:33 AM PDT Hello everyone! This is the first league where i've went out for myself to look into other top tier builds ( poe.ninja) and try to build somthing myself. Was going with some info i found on the assasin forums and ended up with this build. Thing that can possibly be done. Remove AwVoid for lesser support, Deshret for wind walker , Remove rare dagger for cold iron and poison nodes, Antivenom cluster jewel - watcher's with DOT,( loosing life ) Rare chest with explosive will give + life aswell. Can't post PoB since i'm at work ( no home office for me ) Any help would be grateful Maybe write + and - with the changes. My tree is prob not optimal at all. Might just chayula rush to lv 100 to get more nodes. At this moment i feel i like abit dps at guardians ( raremobs) https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/RenQt Corenq char. I've never seen Sirus and would like to invest into one of my characters to complete the end game quest line. I've got 7ex to spend: Soulrend/Bane trickster Ground slam zerker Lacerate glad Hollow palm raider Facebreaker glad Holy flame totem heiro HoAg jugg Spectre necro These are all between level 75-85 and have very poor gear. I'm a mechanically awful player and don't have much experience with bossing. | I just don't understand energy shield Posted: 05 Apr 2020 03:01 PM PDT How the hell do people get these huge energy shield numbers? My gear is ok (maybe?). If I spec out of most of the life nodes I have, replace some damage nodes with ES nodes, I get up to just over 5k. Am I missing something? I get one-shotted now, with 2400 life and 4900 ES. I certainly can't afford a Shavs, or anything like that. Is there anything affordable that would help me out? I can't imagine going CI at this rate. Here's my current build/gear: [link] [comments]  |
