- I'm not the most mechanically gifted person, so I'm having trouble with my build. I'm trying to do a CoC Ice Nova Cyclone Assassin. My damage isn't great and I'm not sure what I can do go make the build better. Any pointers?

- Running a necromancer witch and just added cyclone at lvl 42 but I cant cast it. What am I doing wrong?

| What makes a good league starter a good league starter? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:45 PM PDT I saw on the PoE discord a list of league starters. You can see the list at the bottom. As I am getting burned out of this league and anxiously awaiting the next league, my mind is far from made up on what I'd be interested in as a league start. Do streamers gravitate to one build that is their old faithful, maybe a cyclone or ED/C? Do veterans gravitate to newer experimental league starters based off patch notes e.g. volatile dead spellslinger? Are summoners the best bang for your buck? Are miners able to do all content with the tightest budget at the expense of glass cannon? 1) What makes a good league starter? Is it the ability to progress the atlas? Farm T1 maps at an absurd pace? Participate in the league content very early? 2) There is a holy trinity of mapping, bossing, and survivability. . Not all builds have all 3 at a 10/10 level, unless you are herald stacking. However, is there a league starter that has it at a 7/10 level, a jack of all trades? 3) Whether its the acquisition of enough skillpoints, energy shield for low life, a weapon, etc....some builds have certain "coming online" points. Do the following builds have low turning on points? e.g. requires decent rares to function vs requires a 5-10ex 6L unique chest? 4) Is there a build that can appropriately league start, get out of maps relatively fast, that is a clear money sink (i.e. has tons of obvious upgrade paths), but you FEEL each upgrade? Did I just describe Poison BV assassin or did I just describe every build? As a new player, the hardest part is to look at your gear and build and think "What now?". Some builds, guides really excel at showing you what you can get. Whether its looking for an implicit, awakened gems, finding that unique, etc. It seems like a facebreaker cyclone or stormbrand hierophant would be my biggest picks for next league, but I dont know how well they perform with 10c, 50c, 3ex....I know how they perform with 15-25ex though and it is great. By semi afk i mean hold one button, maybe some cyclone cast while chaneling build or whatsoever. What exactly makes it bad? can it not kill bosses? Is it more a SSF build, or hardcore build? I'm always eternally looking for a playstyle I like, and I don't think i've ever found it lol. So this has been the luckiest league I've had so far, and I've been dumping a lot of currency into this cycloner. My goal for the toon is to be a full on boss destroyer. Right now it has good dps, but I'm wondering if I'm doing anything glaringly wrong or if anyone can come up with some good upgrades that don't cost a mirror lol. Right now PoB community fork is showing my impale dps at 6.49M, and my combined dps at 9.36M. | Which build should I stick with? Posted: 22 Apr 2020 04:38 PM PDT I have a cobra lash pathfinder. It was my starter and I have invested some amount of currency into it; maybe 20-30 ex. 20-30 ex is quite a bit for me as I've never made a lot of currency in this game other than legion (easy crafting). I feel invested in the build because of the currency invested as well as self crafting some items for it. I feel like the next steps would be very expensive. My other build is a budget storm brand trickster. The damage is great and its fun and fast. So, as someone with not a lot time, what build do suggest I go full in on? I told myself i would only do one build this league and try to get the most out of it but the damage and survivability was stalling out on the pathfinder. | Suggestion for a ranger/slayer end game build Posted: 22 Apr 2020 08:19 PM PDT Hey guys, does anyone have an end game ranger or slayer build (can be any ascendancy) that is having success fully clearing T16 5x orb, scarab, sextant, and beyond maps? I've tried a lot of different builds and can get most of them to T16 maps, but I always hit a wall when going after the harder end game content. It's my first season, and I'm having a hard time reading/watching a guide, and deciphering between whether it's actually strong enough, or if it just looks cool. | Posted: 22 Apr 2020 10:33 PM PDT So cobra lash has: convert 50% of physical damage to chaos damage. Added flat chaos damage. My goal is to use claws and high atk speed to build up stacks of poison. How effective is it to increase the physical damage entirely vs just focusing on chaos/poison damage/DoT damage? I'm trying to apply some knowledge from phys to ele conversion here and generally it's better to scale Physical for 100% effectiveness unless the phys-to-ele portion is 100% converted or more. I heard the aura node nerfs on the tree really hurt the build, and there are barely any builds on poeninja running it. Dropped one in hcssf and was debating making a build around it, but from reading around a bit older posts apparently the aoe/dmg of it is super small now, and getting ES to go CI is too hard on occultist now? any opinions on whether this is actually viable in hcssf or not currently? thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

I am having trouble at t14 , sometimes even skipping bosses knowing i do zdps. can someone take a look at my POB and give me advice on getting big DPS. i currently have around 20ex, more if i sell a few pieces of stuff. thanks in advance! | ED/Contagion single target dmg help! Posted: 22 Apr 2020 02:25 PM PDT Hello guys im playing Arphen's Max Block & Dodge Essence Drain Trickster and its amazing. I cant die, even if I try! the clear is amazing, can get 5 ,sometimes 6 "stacks" on all Simulacrum waves. But i want to improve my single target dmg to start doing some Boss hunting! I dont want to change for bow setup, so, what I can improve? I can get like 100ex if I sell stuff for upgrades. Should I buy better wand or shield? Idk how to buy one Op wand, if some1 help me with a link will be nice. Should i get +1 min freenzy charges on rings? Because it's a minion, it's affected by minion nodes. If I pick up spiritual aid... would it make a copy of me with minion buffs applied to me then minion buffs applied to that buffed up mirror? My end goal of this league is to get to 36 complete, and level 100. I want a level 100 pretty badly and i'm finally going to do it, and I finally need to make a choice, these builds I like. I am unaware of any other builds I may like, but these are so far my selections. I will dump any ounce of currency I get into it, until I feel its minmaxed enough, then I will begin saving for a herald stacking build as they seem to be the best builds to get 100 on.
