Builds for 2 dumb guys who just want to relax after a long day at work Posted: 30 Jun 2020 08:48 PM PDT Title says it all. We aren't looking to min-max but being able to clear content as a duo is the main goal here. Prefer to play 2 different builds that are both tanky and can do some good damage without requiring a university degree. I currently play a toxic rain trickster and i'm not great. Dashing around has turned out to not really be my kinda thing. My friend is playing a really fragile summoner build and will die in anything above tier 3 maps. We should have about 5 exalts or so to each spend on gear when we finish the Acts. I am thinking of playing the Trigger Happy Max Block Glad build https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2874618/page/1 and I'm not sure what to recommend to my friend so we can both just go in and crush some skulls together without worrying about dying so often. **Hopefully being able to efficiently churn out tier 16 maps and kill sirus etc. Thanks for reading my novel and I look forward to any recommendations and guide links [link] [comments]

Looking to build a bleed bow Glad on a 7ex budget Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:10 AM PDT I've been looking at what builds to try next and I think I want to dive into a bleed bow Glad. I currently have a max budget of 7ex and I was wondering what kind of content I could expect to be doing with that amount of money invested. Also, would appreciate any tips from people currently playing the build and any guide recommendations or builds to follow would also be great! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 03:12 PM PDT I am currently running around with Dodge keystones, a Kint, and around 5k life and it's working pretty well. I rarely die but when I do I do and it's pretty quick. I was looking at doing LL or CI and while I know LL is great for builds that want a lot of auras, I'm not sure miners benefit enough from auras beyond wrath and skitter for the sabo ascendancy synergy to offset the added benefits of a CI build. I have a 6L Shav's so I can either go LL today or sell it and go CI easily. What would you guys do here? EDIT: I 6led the shavs AND kint with 110 fusers total lol. [link] [comments]
Very strong builds for medium cost (15-20 ex) Posted: 30 Jun 2020 02:02 PM PDT I made a VD/SS and made plenty of currency but feel as though the clunky gameplay of it doesn't appeal to me and doesn't make me want to come back to play. Are there any good builds (capable of end game maps/bossing) for roughly 15-20 ex? [link] [comments]
Best builds on a low (<1ex) budget? Posted: 01 Jul 2020 02:22 AM PDT Fairly new to the game, threw my own build together with a little help from a similar one online on this kind of budget with 5k hp, 65/65/65/20 resistances + 6 endurance charges and 100k DPS (ground slam Duelist) - it's decent enough but still getting one shotted by some bosses and higher end maps and the damage is nowhere near the stuff I'm seeing online. (Assuming it can't purely be down to budget) Whilst checking out other builds, I'm noticing them somehow being able to get into the 2-5m and even 7-8+ million damage per second range. I'm looking at the calculations for them in PoB and still not understanding how that's possible - watching some youtube videos today to help with that. Any thoughts on a tanky/easy to use build for end game content on a budget? Would 500k+ DPS be achievable here? If I could facetank bosses (or just not be one shotted by them) with respectable DPS that would be perfect. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 07:47 PM PDT Just been trying out different stuff with wintertide brand because i really enjoy brand playstyle. Does everything in the game easily t16 juiced maps / t16 blight maps / a8 sirus still have quite a bit more damage in upgrades available. [link] [comments]
Scourge Arrow PF or Cremation archmage Necro Posted: 01 Jul 2020 12:49 AM PDT Didnt get to play much the last 2 weeks but since I'll have some time off work the next 3 weeks I'm trying to decide what to roll for my 2nd character. I play nearly every league but never got around to do end game bosses (sirus not at all for example) How do these builds compare? I feel like Cremation Archmage gets annoying real quick when I have to cast desecrate + crema got every pack. I played scourge arrow last league but I felt like my damage wasnt that great for bosses (mightve been my weapon?) I know that SA can clear t16+ with ease, anyone experience with crema archmage when it comes to fast mapping? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Jul 2020 04:25 AM PDT I'm looking for a good delve build for farming and wondered if anyone has an idea for a cheap and tanky build I can use? I've used cyclone impale before but I'd like something different and ideally that I can level with too. Any ideas? Ideally league start cheap or ssf viable. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Cast on crit build that doesn't use cyclone Posted: 01 Jul 2020 03:44 AM PDT Hello, are there any good builds that use cast on crit but is not cyclone+ice nova (ice nova is fine i just want something else other than cyclone) [link] [comments]
ED Trickster improvements? (Would appreciate any feedback!) Posted: 01 Jul 2020 03:28 AM PDT Hi guys I was wondering if you can give me any feedback or suggestions on my current build? Backstory: I originally made a toxic rain trickster but was having issues staying alive and all the xp lost due to dying was becoming too much of an annoyance so I decided to stay to ED trickster. Issue: originally I was ES ED but was feeling squishy so changed to a high dodge version and changed the link for my chest to immortal call cwdt setup. I know changing to blight would increase some damage but I was wondering if there was other ways to increase my damage against bosses since they often take away to die. Current character I am talking about: Vesiah (i am writing to buy a jewel with that open slot) https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Inferno105599/characters [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 06:01 PM PDT Hey all, I have been looking at people on PoE Ninja and also following a random guide I found on Youtube for a 2H BleedQuake Glad build, but I see a lot of conflicting info. Does anyone have a PoB that is working well for them both offensively and defensively? [link] [comments]

Help with duel wield block gladiator build idea Posted: 30 Jun 2020 10:32 PM PDT I had an idea to make a duel wield block gladiator build. I tried playing with a shield and felt too slow, so i thought maybe its possible to get good block on duel wield. I drew up a build in PoB. I used glancing blows for getting block as high possible. I got Versatile Combatant and Gratuitous Violence. Basically a combo of lacerate and shield based builds. Got some bleed and axe nodes and all that stuff. The cluster jewels i used seem to be very rare, but thought maybe with the upcoming changes they would be easier to get. I had a few questions:
[link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 01 Jul 2020 02:12 AM PDT Getting tired of the league, best summoner build available, clusters awakened gems etc included for like 70-100ex? Possibly 120ex if I sell more stuff. I was thinking spectres with megalomaniacs and stacking vicious bite. If there's anything more broken I'm up for it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 07:46 PM PDT I started a max block lacerate bleed gladiator this league, which is the same build I played last league. While I love the tankyness, and I have the surrender for fun counterattacks, I feel like the build is a bit slow and was wondering what your guy's opinion on switching to a bleed bow glad would be? Perforate is pretty good (Perforate Zerker) Posted: 30 Jun 2020 03:56 PM PDT Wanted to share this build as I've finally been able to clear some high level maps. DPS seems low in PoB but in reality it's like any other slam skill, deletes bosses with at most 3 rotations of war crys, which for this build would be easily sub 1 min still. Haven't been able to test it against high level bosses yet but judging from the clear and bosses so far it should be fine. It can also go crit if you get a nice fleshripper, but I've found it unncessary so far. Let me know if you see any clear room for improvement I missed (like jewels could probably be better). Help needed for Toxic Rain miner Posted: 01 Jul 2020 01:37 AM PDT POB: https://pastebin.com/vEGp59a5 Need help upgrading my toxic rain miner. I've traditionally played more hands-off type of builds (golems, spectres, brands) that can focus on dodging bosses, or stupidly high damage builds (old pyroclast mines) that could simply instaphase them. This time around I'm trying for a toxic rain miner to try my hand at "skill based gaming" where I actually have to dodge stuff - but right now, with everything up and ideal conditions, I'm looking at ~1.5m sirus dps. Not exactly comfortable for someone like myself. That being said, please take a look through my build and let me know what items I could improve, or any tips in general to improve my dps or survivability. [link] [comments]
Found a 700+ dps 2h mace but I cannot figure out a good boss killer build with it Posted: 30 Jun 2020 09:54 AM PDT Need help finding a good bossing build to use this mace with. Like t13+ maps. Iv got anther character but it's so weak at bossing I'm high tier (like 5-10min long fights) [link] [comments]
The true immortal bleed EQ gladiator Posted: 01 Jul 2020 01:05 AM PDT Hey, I'm currently playing a 2H uul-netul embrace bleeding gladiator. The damage is great and I clear everything really fast but I can die quickly as well doing one mistake... I was thinking on an alternative approach which looks amazing. Basically, with the right gear, this guy is completely unbreakable. The idea is using Staves instead of Axes. I know, I know, axes are much more powerful so how do you make it powerful enough and still keep the tackiness. This is an example of something I made (not there yet with the gear): Basically, I will combine the bleeding and the blocks of the gladiator with the a little bit higher attack speed of the staves. Until now I had to invest in attack speed to get a reasonable speed. Now I won't need to. In addition, I can use Glancing Blows and Steelwood Stance to get maximum attack and spell block. I use the glancing blow together with Transcendance new keystone (timeless jewel). Now I know people will tell me that lowering my max res by 5 is deadly without Loreweave and they are probably wrong. With Glancing Blows and ~40-50K armor I won't have a problem to mitigate the difference in res. But we still need to do damage right? And all we have is a staff. Until making an endgame BIS staff, we will be using disintegrator. With this staff we will do tons of damage and we will have additional 9% physical damage reduction which is important due to Transcendance. With the endurance charges and maybe also a wathcer's eye, we can reach almost 90% reduction without the armour. The base life regen + life leech + enduring cry + Soul of Arkaali will take care of the physical damage per second. I'm using three war cries here and it's important that they will be fast. The cooldown is not such a big problem since we are adding Second Wind. So I start the fight, put my enduring cry and Sesmic cry, mostly for the knockback but also for the damage boost, and start killing. For bosses, I add the intimidating cry as well. They are almost instant in my setting. With ~6K hp, 2K life leach and life reg from the enduring cry I think I will be okay. What do you think? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 07:35 AM PDT Hey guys, I've made a huge mistake and built a CoC ice nova assasin, can I semi-respec my build to something else? If yes, what? [link] [comments]
how to energyshield, please help (as trickster without escape artist) Posted: 01 Jul 2020 12:50 AM PDT Hello everyone. Currently i am building / playing a divine ire stormfire ignite trickster.I am using a skin of the loyal (+3) , so i went full energyshield (CI) to take advantage of the 100% increased defence mod by stacking as much flat ES as possible. But beyond that and pressing vaal discipline and using enduring cry (with ZO) i dont know how to sustain ES effectively , especially during bossfights. i am aware that you can go following routes (and maybe mix them)
but which one is good for my build? current problems (beyond ES sustain)
known issues (i am already working on)
my pob: https://pastebin.com/NeFXezkE any advice is welcome, of course advice beyond the ES problem is also appreciated [link] [comments]
"Minion builds have high actions per minute"? Posted: 30 Jun 2020 10:04 AM PDT I've been looking at summoner guides and was surprised by this statement in the Cons section of a popular zombie guide. I thought summoner builds would be pretty relaxed. I'm a slow, old guy and "high actions per minute" builds would not be good for me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2020 06:44 PM PDT I'm thinking of possibly rolling a slam build. Hoping to find something that has good bidding ability with reasonable clear speed. Thinking EQ Tech Slam or Ground Slam. Would love to hear thoughts from people here and maybe see some suggested build guides. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |
