Low life rf occultist looking for help

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:27 PM PDT

Hi, theorycrafting a decent low life righteous fire build. I played what I consider a good working life version for a while, but I'm pretty new to energy shield version.

I'm having a lot of trouble with energy shield regen with it being almost zero and would love someone to give me a hand how to at least get a few thousand regen and maybe a few extra thousand energy shield / some armor without sacrificing too much damage. Here's the pob of build I came up with, took few builds as templates, merged some things together and edited quite a bit.

    https://pastebin.com/Kggv802D

Got on paper so far 1,5kk scorching ray dps and 4,7kk rf dps with 4 curses. Shaper belt and recovery mod in watchers eye each give barely 100 regen while sacrificing quite a bit of either survivability or damage, idk where to start.

    Any help appreciated.

EDIT: got https://pastebin.com/2DvQ62gr with 600 passive regen and 5.6k while mapping which is somewhat decent I suppose, although would be nice to get passive to around 1,5 and get a bit more energy shield for survivability.

    Headhunter Achieved! now what?

    Posted: 28 Jul 2020 03:39 AM PDT

Hey guys,So as the title says, I finally got my hands on a HeadHunter for the first time, and I was looking to roll a character that can maximize the benefit from it.

I remember you could self cast temportal chains + kaum's boots to stay fast, but as far as I know this build is no longer possible.Yet i've seen a few Scions that use those items on poe.ninja so I was intrigued.. is there a way to make that work with scion? is it worth it?

Looking to build a character that can farm fully juiced maps and 5 way legions.any ideas (that doesn't require crazy expensive gear besides HH) will be appreciated

Edit: Looked in previous posts in the matter, my particular question (about scion self curse) was not discussed as far as I saw, so i opened a new thread.

Tanky Bleedquake build - Juggernaut or Gladiator?

    Posted: 28 Jul 2020 04:00 AM PDT

Hi, I want to try some EQ bleed build, and there seems to be two popular choices, two handed Jugg and max block Glad. Both of them seem tanky and can dish enough damage, so I want to ask if anyone tried one of these before.

I usually play Juggernaut because Marauder looks really good with MTX lol, and I also enjoy playing tanky and strong character. For this build, I think Divine Flesh and Unrelenting can help mitigating a lot of elemental damage, while Juggernaut is the best at mitigating physical, also, using two handed axe can more damage than one handed axe + shield, and with 6 link he can wear Kaom's Heart which make him more tanky.

Gladiator on the other hand seems to be more reliable tank. I used to play FB maxblock back in 3.7 and it's stupidly strong, but I didn't have a chance to play max block again after that. With the slowness and mechanic of EQ that sometimes you have to stand in the middle of the enemies, I think max block from Glad can be better than mitigation from Jugg, but I'm not so sure myself.

So, I want to ask which one should I play, and which one is more expensive than another? Also, since I haven't played both yet, all that I wrote above is just my guess from past experiece, so if there is something wrong with it, please point it out.

    Thanks in advance!

LL VD/DD Spellslinger Necro looking for ways to improve

    Posted: 28 Jul 2020 02:55 AM PDT

    Hi together!

I really enjoy my build so far, tbh it's the best I ever played and the highest character so far.

But I have some concerns, since i switched to Glancing Blows. It felt a lot tankier with (almost) Max Block.

I playing around in PoB for hours now to figure out a way to be more tanky but I don't know, if there is a better pathing or other ideas I didn't think about.

Another thing I don't understand is, how people get those crazy high Chance to Crit. While the damage is pretty solid, at least in my opinion, I wouldn't mind if someone could show ways to improve.

I'm aware that my gear still needs some improvements like:

-Spell Crit Chance on Wand (had T5 spell crit before)

-Fix the low defence rolls on glove / helm / boots

Here is my current build: https://pastebin.com/QuDm2rGj

    I'm grateful for any suggestions!

This is the build I'm currently leaning towards: (No Glancing Blows): https://pastebin.com/EycPFGye

Let me know what u guys think! I'm really curious and I hope to receive some advises here!

    Thank you in advance

One more thing to note: I bought an Awakended Spell Cascade. Where does it profit most? Desecrate or DD/VD Setup?

    Basically the title.

I really wanna build a coc ice nova build, but I really dont know who to follow. Some say carcass jack is the best option while others say its a explody chest. Also, dying to every other map isnt my goal.

    Any advice?

Okay, I've looked online a decent bit, theres very few guides or just people playing aconsecrated path build at all for that matter... anyone got a guess why? I've played it as a chieftain up to level 80, running yellow maps, but it just seems weak and I don't know why. Is the skill just weak or do I just suck

    Looking for a marauder build

    Posted: 28 Jul 2020 12:09 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

I've played the redemption sentry necro build this season, and I'm ready to move on.Kinda miss the melee, but I've played too many cyclone builds... so I tried playing marauder for the first time.

I've leveled up using onigoroshi molten strike, and I'm currently at level 72.

So I've checked poeninja, and saw that earth shatter berserker builds were at the top right now.

Pretty neat, I thought.BUT before I go on and try the reigning build, I wanted to check if there are any fun builds you guys would recommend. Personally, I like checking reddit for builds cuz I've had fun experiences with builds from reddit before (i.e., herald stacking last league, BEFORE it got mainstream...).

    So any thoughts and recommendations?

    p.s.) I have about 60 ex budget.

Would an Archmage Lightning Tendrils CWC Shock Nova build be possible?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:19 PM PDT

The idea was to go Hiero stacking mana and mana regen while using a CWC staff and Inpulsa's to get whole screen explosions and solid single target.

Denfences would be MoM and close to max block.

I haven't made a Archmage build before, so I'm not sure if this setup would be effective let alone possible.

I was thinking that the mana cost of a CWC setup would be far too high to be able to comfortably sustain.

Theorycrafting a Geofri's Devotion build, need help with single target. Any suggestions?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 05:03 PM PDT

I'm in the middle of theorycrafting a build using Geofri's Devotion in combination with Coward's Chains/Legacy, and while I'm very confident in Elemental Warding's ability to clear maps, the proc rate is sketchy for single target scenarios.

My first idea was to use my Cyclone for a Cast While Channeling setup with Discharge on Juggernaut, with Romira's and Scolds Bridle to generate charges as necessary, but I don't think the damage pans out even with 13 total charges (7 endurance & 6 power). My second idea was to do either BV or some form of Bladefall/Blade Blast combo, but I'm afraid of it being either too clunky or a waste of my gem slots to make work.

Ideally, I would be picking a second spell that scales off the same things Elemental Warding does (phys, elemental, and spell), but without the need for it to be good at clearing. Any advice? Thanks!

Improve my build - Archmage Arc/Ball Lightning

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:41 PM PDT

Hey guys - I'm looking for advice on what to improve on my build.

Pastebin - Self Cast Archmage Arc/Ball Lightning

What I am aiming at next is a crusader influenced stygian vise. Then I can craft something like this which gives me a 10% damage increase. Should be fairly easy to craft using Harvest seeds I think. Regarding my assassin's mark ring, I would remove the 'elemental damage with attacks' but it rolled so well that I don't really want to remove it, means I can use it on my Ice Shot character if needed. I still need to finish crafting that anyway.

I also need to a few more levels so I can socket two small cluster jewels with Scintillating Idea on them to give me another decent boost to damage.

Any advice would be welcome! Cheers.

    Mage ES Leveling Help

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:59 PM PDT

Heyo! Need some help leveling witches.... I I'm basically following this build (https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/CastielMWP/%D0%93%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BA%D0%B0?i=7&search=class%3DNecromancer%26sort%3Ddepth-solo) to a tee. But getting through act six is rough!!

What's your go to spells for witch leveling? I'm basically using most of the spells from the above build, but it's not going great. Should I be using an arc/spellslinger build instead? And if I do use different skills, when do I switch over? After act ten, or after level 100? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!! Best League Starter

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:02 AM PDT

Hey guys, I've been out of the loop for a few months and haven't been playing this league at all yet. Wanting to get into Harvest, but haven't found a build I really like the sound of yet.

My favorite build ever was Arc totems back before Arc got nerfed. I played cyclone for a while last season and it was a decent starter, but I just got bored of the playstyle. I wouldn't mind trying a bow build since I've never done one before, but not sure what's good or viable right now.

Any recommendations on what I should play? Thanks for any advice you have.

Looking for Build Critique - Spellslinger Ele Hit Assassin Wander

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:47 AM PDT

    Hey there,

I'm looking for any critique or constructive feedback on places I could improve the build. I've pumped a fair bit of money into the build, and it feels really good to play. Fast clear even on a 4L with the GMP/Chain, and solid Single target, even without flasks at about 3M Sirus DPS*. In the PoB I haven't put flasks on, so it is more of a worse case scenario rather than optimal burst setup.

The Build utilises a Doriyani Glorious Vanity Timeless Jewel for Corrupted Soul, coupled with a Soul Tether unique belt for Immortal Ambition to give 20% of life as ES, and to give ES Leech/Life Leech at incredibly fast rates thanks to Vaal Pact.

Can anyone highlight any potential ways I can either improve the singe target, clear, or defences/life? I'm still re-rolling the Spell Damage on the shield, but aside from that and maybe an Awakened GMP, I'm not too sure what else I can really do to continue improving it and take it to greater heights?

EDIT: *Updated pastebin, just saw m y cluster jewels weren't being allocated, so DPS is over 3M vs Sirus without flasks.

Trying to make an Ice Spear Pledge of Hands build

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:34 AM PDT

I have little experience with spell casters, let alone Archmage. I've had the desire for a couple leagues now to make an Ice Spear build that uses Pledge of Hands to machine-gun out a ton of projectiles (via GMP, LMP, Spell Echo, and Unleash) and drill bosses down. With Ice Spears innate Crit, Inquisitor seems like a good idea.

For defenses, since I'd be using a staff and block feels good right now, I'm thinking Glancing Blows keystone. Cloak of Defiance/MoM to synergize with Pledge's granted Mana. Life sustain seems to have an obvious choice of a Shaper's "Life on Spell Hit" ring.

Am I wasting my time? Is this too cumbersome? I threw together a PoB and the issues that stand out to me are low EHP and how will I clear maps (maybe use Herald of Ice and accept a lower mana pool?).

    PoB: https://pastebin.com/YNEBkXDq

    Any help would be appreciated!
