Neat lore fact #13: Dominus did not build the Sceptre of God and is scared of the monsters inside it. He never goes inside and only is using it for his experiments. He uses a pulley system rigged to the outside wall to get to the top.

How cool would it be: If you could open more than 1 breach at a time and then, if two breaches intersect/cross each others borders, even mightier Monsters spawn with a chance of a mightier breach Boss with New items? I think of the 3 breaches in temple. If 3 breaches collide. That'd super cool.

Heart of the Grove boss encounter box should be smaller to prevent misclicking and a yes/no confirmation needs be added before the fight starts.

Nugiyen RIP to Legion - Harvestssfhc

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 09:29 AM PDT

Harvest is the first time we have actual CRAFTING in Path of Exile, not glorified gamble.

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 01:26 PM PDT

I often see people referring to harvest craft as "deterministic craft", when it should be only that... Crafting.

Prior to harvest, crafting was just a metric fuckload of RNG layers on top of more RNG layers, completely inaccessible to 99% of the playerbase. I say that literally, it's not an exaggeration.

For the first time in my 6-7 years of PoE I've been going deep into crafting, and even made my own build from scratch, a STR stacking SST chieftain. It would be 100% impossible without CRAFTING. At the same time, there is a great deal of uncertainty as to the future of the game.

Path of Exile should not be developed and balanced around the 1% players who will get the best of the best stuff either way. Listening to the latest Chris interview kind of turned me down a great deal and I hope the developer team doesn't share his opinion.

Path of Exile: Mercenary (My pitch about new League with Video, explanation and shots)

Path of Exile: Mercenary (My pitch about new League with Video, explanation and shots)

First of all. Sorry for my poor english. Second - for my poor montage skills (they really bad). I used free characters from Mixamo.

    Why

    https://preview.redd.it/u9tl5dkp8rd51.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e96f88e321dc9e2a78e98edaf6afe5c255a62914

I'm big fan of coop gaming in ARPG. But in PoE I'm always play solo cause most of all groups are: hard pushers party (like Havoc616), deep delve divers and aurabot+one char team. Will be great if in PoE we can play with mercenary like in Diablo 2.

I know that GGG read Reddit and always want to surprise us with new leagues. Hope that you will like this wave of my fantasy.

    About

Three mercenary trapped in Wraeclast and Oriath. Exile need to find them in Upper Prison, Slave Pens and Labyrinth. After freedom they will wait us in the Einhar camp.

    Wills - uses spells and buffs os with auras;

    Quarl - uses melee skills and warcries to debuff enemies;

    https://preview.redd.it/ks2xrcyz8rd51.jpg?width=268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4abdd837115a7b9f32168d0a7cca9a2de730cab

Wex - uses ranged skills and curses the enemies.

Each mercenary have own questline with endgame boss and unique loot. Like Jun wants revenge Syndicate, they want to destroy another hidden organization - Warbands. With new Leaders Brinerot, Redblades and Mutewind become dangerous for Wraeclast and Oriath.

We can change our companion when we want in the Einhar camp and later in Hideout. This option will add more diversity for gameplay. We can choose different tactics on maps, delve or against endgame bosses. Also we cannot hire mercenary in party. That can easy destroy balance.

    https://preview.redd.it/h9ngj8w29rd51.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f1dfd13e14f76fc4f0ae8dfd888f77218bb5ff6f

Each mercenary have his own Passive tree with 200 skill points with 3 keystone passives. Levelcap - 60.

Some of old skills changed and now have "Mercenary" tag. Rejuvenation totem, Conversion trap, Firestorm, Sweep, Cleave, Split Arrow, Purity of Elements, Artillery Ballista, Flameblast, Devouring Totem and other 20 skills now use only for mercenary. Also added new skills for players and mercenary.

Later developers can add more mercenary and create specific mtx for them.

Also I recorded short video with conception. After 40 sec you can skip - I explaining conception for ru players.

I would enjoy POE more if it just said "expected disconnection" instead of "unexpected disconnection"

I always fail to login the first 2-5 times. I am, in fact, expecting disconnection.

Why is there no Sin in Karui Shores?

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 11:00 AM PDT

I mean, yeah, it's not a big deal, but it would be more handy if Sin was there, and I see no reason for him not to be there. Is he like gone mapping?

Harvest League - The Quiet MVP

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 05:01 AM PDT

I was scrolling though reddit this morning and found this old post i liked a few weeks back and thought I would give some feedback..

    https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/hi47ig/harvest_league_broke_historical_records_for/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

Its funny reading this post 30 days later. When I first saw the posting, I agreed/felt the same way as most of the players who dropped off after week 1 of Harvest. I stopped playing because the league mechanic was just... boring to be honest. The league just felt, stale and unrewarding.... or so I thought...

Week 1 usually works the same for most casual players; Rush as fast as you can to end game and try to make currency within the first few days of the league and find a build recommended by a streamer or the poe website forum. We buy most of our gear off of trade sites and rarely engage with the mechanics since we are already behind most other top tier players making mirror tier currency the first few days of a league.

I feel like I speak for most casual players - We don't craft because the crafting system is too punishing - even now, thinking of multi-moding or just slamming exalts onto something just "hoping" for a good outcome makes me sick to my stomach. I don't farm 800 alterations, multiple EX, or hundreds of chaos in a single session like some players can.

When I returned back in week 4 and actually started engaging with Harvest Mechanic -holy hell was I surprised with how incredibly rewarding this season has turned in to. I always hit a brick wall and tend to quit because I tell myself ;my build just isn't performing as well as I want, I am too slow for certain mechanics, I fail a Sirius, I can't level past 94, I can't afford certain items for my build, or other excuses I come up with.

Having the ability to craft higher tier items and experiment with different combinations this season has given me a new revitalization on the entire game. Now when I look at build guides, I can realistically try and craft these items instead of spending 8 ex on a item that is super inflated. Harvest crafting along side cluster jewels has truly given the player maximum control over their character and build possibilities.

Now, none of my statements so far have resonated with elite players. Players who can put in 12 hours a day (lord knows I wish I could) SHOULD be rewarded more for their active play style over those who get maybe 1-2 hours a day (if even). With that being said, right now in harvest, I can craft 1 good item every few days and its no where near mirror tier. For an active player, that will be done in a few hours easily and done at a much higher level. I can 100% guarantee when you make a item worth 20ex, under no possible circumstance would i ever buy that item. Not that I dislike you, but 20ex for me takes weeks to get and its just not feasible to do. Elite players sell to other elite players, simple as that. And if you are a top POE content creator, TRUST ME, I appreciate your content, but GGG should not tailor their game to appease the ultra elite player base.

My whole purpose in writing this was to point out the following:

Harvest crafting league is probably one of the worst releases to date for POE in terms of exciting league mechanics and overall engagement...But, the Harvest league crafting mechanic is one of the MOST IMPORTANT changes that has ever come to POE. Player progression is one of the most important aspects of any successful game. and if it takes a little less exciting of a single league to accomplish a bigger goal, I am in 100% support of it.

Remember guys, this is a game, its meant to be fun. Don't make it feel like work.

    Stay hungry exiles!

Could we get a day/night switch for hideouts?

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 12:00 AM PDT

After working a bit on my hideout I really wish, that you could choose between the light-shaders since some constructs would look farly supperior at night.

This thing has been suggested on the forums since 2016 but never got much of an answer from GGG as far as I could see.

suggestion: put a marker that points toward the boss when off screen

    Posted: 29 Jul 2020 06:17 AM PDT

when sirus says "die" while there's a spinning laser wheel of death taking up half the screen it's kinda crucial to know where the one shot beam will be coming from. it's not a problem most of the time, but it can at times feel somewhat fucky
