What build do you all recommend that would be somewhat easy to gear-out via purchases and can just mop through content without playing the piano? Usually I only pick up talismans to vendor but this one made a sound bigger than an ex drop so idk whether it'd be worth using in any build (I am ssf but bored of playing my zdps bladestorm glad). Below is the pastebin for the build that I need help with: I hope it works, this is the first time I attempted to share a build. I feel like I am not progressing anymore and that I have some key problems with my build that I am not recognizing. For example, Fireball is my main skill and it's on my six link chest but I do not have enough mana to add more support gems (too much reserved but my mana pool is higher than the build that i copied from). The highest maps I have ran so far are t9. all my skill gems and gear are max quality / lvl. I have some expensive pieces and some cheap ones in the gear. I have currency to get better gear but not sure what to get. I feel like my defense is ok, but that I should be hitting way harder. | Cold Penetration - how much do we need? Posted: 18 Aug 2020 05:51 AM PDT Ok so, I'm building out a frost blades character because, why not try off-meta skills at the end of the most broken crafting league ever, right? So one of the things that is getting past me is cold penetration. I'm getting 8% on tree, 30% from the two fight for survival jewels, 10% from my redeemer amulet and I have a helmet that gives "enemies have -9% cold resist" - which I believe scales down the resists, so I'm essentially just getting a little bonus to how much damage is being dealt after it is penetrated. (Don't lol at the innuendos, and stay with me here, they aren't on purpose) So that's about 48% penetration. How much elemental pen should I be running in my build? Do we want to hit 60%? 100%? Am I missing something? One of the suggestions is to grab one last bit of it on a redeemer weapon, but I already have an insane foil. So I'm looking to avoid going that route. I could obviously run awakened cold pen, but I'm noticing tons of people don't use it on PoE Ninja so I'm curious why. Thanks everyone ✌️ [link] [comments]  | ||

| Trying to make this build work, could use some tips/suggestions Posted: 18 Aug 2020 08:30 PM PDT PoB: https://pastebin.com/8rrLKrCM Assassin, CI, Lightning to cold conversion wander, mainly using Power Siphon, want to use Kinetic blast for clear, power siphon for single target, spark and herald of ice for mtx =D Wanted to make a clear speed oriented build utilizing this nifty shield i crafted, best clear build I've made so far was my spark herald stacker last league. I'm much poorer this league, so the character is sort of a frankenstein of what I had laying around. Currently have about 2 or 3 ex to invest, can farm more if needed on my RS necro, really just trying to see if i can make this work well enough to farm A8 T14+ maps. It's close; I know 3 ex isn't much to invest but I'm more looking for general ideas for progression into the 5-10+ range as far as cost efficiency for upgrades. Build is fun as hell but the damage just isnt there, and being attack based for the most part, the defense isn't either. PoB doesnt register a few things; I am res capped with my timeless jewel, this also gives me inner conviction instead of pain attunement. I'm hoping this converts to increased attack damage through wandslinger, but not sure if it wouldnt be better to find a different timeless jewel/watchers eye/crit multi rare. I would like to have a fast build able to clear T16 without much issue. I've seen Mathill's CoC bladefall/bladeblass pathfinder and BV posion assassin. | Help with two characters and Uber Lab Posted: 18 Aug 2020 02:13 PM PDT Hey all, I have two characters that are currently being wrecked by Uber lab. I get about halfway through it then get clobbered by a trap or by Izaro. Both are doing fine mapping, I have gotten into Tier 14 with Flicker and tier 9 with Iceshot. Any suggestions on increasing survivability? I know more health would be the first thing and I am working on that but I've gotten through Uber Lab on less than this. Both characters in SC Harvest. I've been playing for a little while and it seems that I always crap out in mid-tier maps. I know its because I don't know how to gear for higher and harder content. Here is an example pastebin from a SRS character I'm playing now. How can i get more health/Es/survivability so that I can progress? I die so fast I don't even know where it comes from half the time.
