| Need advice making an Unencumbered Cyclone (Champion?) Posted: 27 Sep 2020 06:53 PM PDT Hi! I'm playing Heist SSF and came across some interesting gear, so I started theorycrafting a build around it. It is based around the Replica Perfect Form unique which gives Hollow Palm Techinque and makes Flesh and Stone free. I crafted one ring and found another one with decent stats (40 dex, a ton of resists and some life) and a belt with a lot of resistances and life (which should cap out my elemental res). I'm currently farming Astramentis' divination card (2 out of the 3 that it requires) because it's probably the best amulet I could get within the next few weeks (should be better than Carnage Heart, and easier to get than a good rare). It should be easy to acquire a decent pair of boots with some MS, Life and resists. I also got lucky with my The Unexpected Prize and got a Fluid Motion, which should be helpful for this kind of build right? So, with all of these items in mind, I'm planning on an unencumbered character using Cyclone, but I'm open to hear other options/suggestions (Frenzy, Conc. Path, maybe Slams?) because I only played melee once a few years ago and have little to no clue on how to build one. I never played an attribute-stacking build before either. I made this (https://pastebin.com/2G4K8jNa) PoB using the gear I currently have and it shows some really good numbers, but I'm not sure if those are realistic or if I should try something else (pathing to certain parts of the tree, ignoring others, switching up my links, bandits, etc). My main concerns are:
My main objectives are killing most of the endgame Bosses (high tier Conquerors, Shaper, high awakening level Sirus, etc). I did not add any quality to my gems as it is something that could take me some time (casual player with not that much hours to play). It's my first league character, I wonder whether I should move onto something else after Contagion/ED, for possibly faster clear speeds and bosses? and maybe less deaths, I'm at level 90 now and it might take a while to get to 91.... I'm not sure what I can do to make myself clear way faster at this point other then better jewels (watchers etc) or just 50ex gear. Need suggestions. I wanna clear at light speed like what used to happen with Queen of the Forest before the massive mob buffs and it became unviable. Posted: 27 Sep 2020 11:21 PM PDT Hi, so I know that MF is not THAT great on leagues but since I've started playing I've always wanted to try a MF build. After talk with some ppl in-game they suggested me to go Lightning Arrow Deadeye build, but after some research it seems that a Poison BV Assassin can get some nice IIQ while still having a good single target + red map clear. Also it appears to be cheaper to get going. I also watched Somayd's stream and he is playing the Lightning Arrow Deadeye build farming T5 (Ports, I believe). So yea... What i'm looking for is for it to have 1.5m + shaper dps, and to be extremely tanky. Can invest into it up to 50 ex, no need to be budget, but of course, neither mirror tier. The build doesn't really need any uniques so i am exploring incorporating some. Specifically maligaro's cruelty and dendrobate.
