- Said the joker to the thief
- PSA: Weapon enchants do not buff implicits, while catalysts for rings/amulets/belts do. I asked if it's intentional or a bug and I was told to ask the community.
- Hmmm, I don't know about that
- This is a... buff?

Posted: 03 Oct 2020 03:35 AM PDT I understand they wanted to tone down the skill someway or another (as the prophecies say), but having people enter the schrodinger's death zone for a couple seconds isn't exactly an appealing way to accomplish that. P.S.: Yes, on lockstep. [link] [comments]

PoE needs a formidable competitor Posted: 02 Oct 2020 11:29 PM PDT I love PoE, this is the game I've spent the most money and time on, far exceeding the 2nd on my list. We always have hiccup here and there during the launch of a new league, but Heist launch was messy enough to be a wake up call. Is GGG losing grip of their game development? Are they prioritizing something else rather than the simple enjoyment of playing a game? PoE, in its current state, is still a fucking great game, with community management worthy to be an industry standard. However, it is showing signs that it might be heading towards a questionable direction. It is easier to stablise as a whole than to glue together all the broken pieces of a crumbled giant. And what is the most effective force to keep everyone in check ? A direct imminent threat. You won't fuck around when it's life or death. You won't repeat the same mistake because the cost is too great. You won't dare to give less than 100% just so you could stay alive. Who would benefit from all these? Us. The customers, the players. We laughed at the failure of Diablo 3, but Diablo is the giant PoE dreaming to defeat, giving the team purpose. With Diablo 4 still being an urban legend at this stage, PoE2 has no incentive to be 110%, a mere 70% might be enough to grab all the money it can. I wish all the success in all other ARPGs, be it Wolcen, Torchlight or Last Epoch, so that PoE could shine a little longer. PoE needs a wake-up call, PoE needs a formidable competitor. Honestly this "load assets when you encounter them" thing should be reworked or scrapped Posted: 03 Oct 2020 03:04 AM PDT Any rare and uncommon encounters i have to die once for it to load. Things like legions where it seems that the assets from the initial phase and the 2nd phase seems to be different, and needs to be loaded twice. Delve nodes like "contains cold/lightning items" show the warband guys standing there immobile before the mining cart reaches the node. but somehow once it reaches, only then does the asset starts to load, effectively dropping my FPS to 0 and killing me. Posted: 03 Oct 2020 12:05 PM PDT I can't remember league content not being ready to launch for this long. Sure, you had for example Beyond where another rare monster was patched in later on, missing +1 totems or similar stuff. Straight up story content that's tied to challenges not being ready for this long? That's a first. If anything Harbinger, Meta or Blight endgame content was cut and never shown before the initial reveal or challenges. So, where does this leave us with the December update? Chris said that Heist was a big project league that was being worked on during Harvest. Is the same thing happening again? Is part of the team currently working on both Heist endgame, the historically large December update and 4.0? If so, is there any reason at all for us as players to expect a working December league and proper support through the month? And for the record, nobody in those type of discussions is saying that employees don't deserve to spend the holidays with their family. Nobody. That's totally fine and not the point. But you choose your own launch date. As simple as that. Nobody is forcing a December launch date on the company. If you want to launch a product during that time to make the most moneyz, could you please launch a working product as promised? I'm not talking about a single recipe missing or anything like that - working as in technical. Doors opening. Crashes. Harvest boss being doable. Sirus entrance storms. Sirus teleport kills. I'd also like to ask the pc bros to check out videos of current console performance videos. This stuff just isn't ok. [link] [comments]
