| PSA: Disable Windows 10 Backup to fix lag Posted: 12 Nov 2020 09:42 PM PST Title. On new installs of Windows 10, it by default configures One Drive to backup your Documents folder, which tries to back up stuff that Path of exile is actively changing while playing. Disabling it fixed 99% of my desync/lag problems Edit: To disable - Right click "OneDrive" in the sidebar of explorer and click "manage onedrive backup" to see options for disabling. Also note, disabling it will change which directory your Documents folder uses, so you will probably want to copy over all the files from the old onedrive documents folder after disabling. | Performance issues for 2 last days Posted: 13 Nov 2020 12:51 AM PST Hi, Couple of days ago there was "fix" (?), when POE downloaded something about 35mb, dunno exact number. After that I'm facing a lot of problems with my performance, especially with lots of mobs suddenly appearing (delirium/conqueror's maps etc). But there is no any problems while runnig usual rare maps. The problem is that after a crowd of mobs appear, my fps drops to 0 and jumping around 0-4 fps for ~2-3 seconds. Does anyone else have the same issue? Just for information: I DIDN'T have such a problem before that "fix" or whatever it was. CPU: 9700KF GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 GPU driver were updated to the latest version AFTER my problem appeared. [link] [comments]  |
