| Just wanted to shout out to LuckyMdawg for fixing my build. Posted: 30 Dec 2020 07:31 PM PST I was on another thread and saw how insane the changes were that u/LuckyMdawg made to that guys build, so I challenged him to take a look at my HoT Golem stacking elementalist to see what could be done. https://pastebin.com/iKS2yWGz is my old build - somewhere close to 3.5m sDPS , 2.7k life, 2.6k ES (PoB stats for "effective health pool" close to 37k for lightning damage as the highest). https://pastebin.com/S5rA4Nua is what I changed to, after he responded to the challenge. Close to 5m sDPS (over 5m if I swap to my 5L staff but I don't normally, waiting until I 6L it), 4k life, 2k ES and the PoB EHP for damage is closer to 55k (other than phys and chaos :( ) The changes primarily were to drop (most of) the golems (my poor fake auras!) and take up the Beacon of Ruin ascendancy instead, and one amulet which honestly only cost me 7ex crafting cost (I could probably buy better if I had the ex). With a few skill gem changes I manage to survive better (I'm almost L96 finally) and overall mapping feels more zoom-zoom than before. I was worried about taking Corrupted Soul from Glorious Vanity but between ES and Life Leech it's actually working better than before. Massive shoutout to u/LuckyMdawg, can thoroughly recommend his assistance. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. | Posted: 31 Dec 2020 12:54 AM PST I need help with my KB/PowerSiphon build's survivability and damage. The damage seems very low in white and yellow maps, it takes forever to kill map bosses and most of the time I end up just getting 1 shot before I can even do 25%. I looked at a few builds on poe.ninja and I dont really understand what big differences there are between their build and mine. Also is it worth to get acrobatics to increase survivability even though I'm running a shield? [link] [comments]  | ||

Which offers the best survivability and can both work together? What defensive skills should I be using depending on which route I take? I'm just coming back from the game after stopping during legion, and would really appreciate some help putting the finishing touches on my cyclone berserker in standard league. I have a budget of about 50ex for upgrades, and a full respec of my passive tree available. I'm not sure if the way I had set my passives was ideal or if going towards impale was more beneficial. | Ele cyclone slayer w/ 2H Axe - what base should I craft on? Posted: 30 Dec 2020 07:25 AM PST Kind of got some inspiration from Mathil's new flashback build for this one - I want to build out a crit ele cyclone slayer utilizing 2H axe. I'm building this in Heist, and I have basically unlimited currency to throw at it. (Most of the gear, except for the axe is going to be pulled from my crit gladiator) Karui Chopper has the highest base DPS, Vaal Axe is pointless because maim does nothing if I'm converting all my phys to elemental damage, right? Fleshripper would work but I'm taking Overwhelm as part of the ascendancy so it makes more sense to go for higher APS or DPS base. So it seems my two base choices are despot axe or karui chopper, unless I'm missing something? Also, if you have any experience building something like this, please stop in below and leave some advice, I haven't played slayer ever, or 2H since my first character in this game a year ago so my experience with building this is 0. | Posted: 30 Dec 2020 04:51 PM PST Not looking for any damage help or anything right now but I don't understand how the Aurastackers on poe.ninja have the mana for all of the auras they run. I'm running enough RMR jewels to get the free Prism Guardian auras but I barely have enough mana to cast Spark with a lvl 1 vitality and no purity of elements. Am I missing something core?
