Help Theorycrafting - Voidforge Elementalist Cycloner Posted: 20 Dec 2020 09:07 PM PST I've been tinkering for a while trying to make a meme build work and would like some feedback from some more adept people. In summary what I'm looking for is:
So far I made two PoB trees. One as tanky as possible and the other one being more balanced. Not sure what is the minimum dps unbuffed a build needs to feel right. Still what I managed to get with not super insane equipment was: For the tanky version (PoB https://pastebin.com/biG1k1Lh)
For the balanced version (PoB https://pastebin.com/gGnPSMKf)
So I'm well aware that anything can work with super insane OP mirror tier equipment. I also know that obviously any meta build can work for far less, or deal like x100 times the dps for the same investment. What I'm looking for is for feedback or ideas that might help improving this bad idea of a build to usable levels without being Empy-tier wealthy. Also, want to hear opinions regarding which version (if tanky of balanced) is less of a mess to work with. Also, the skilltrees were made with basically 20/0 gems and not the best equipment. I know that with better gems things would be better, but I wanted to see first if there are any other improvements to consider before going into min-maxing territory. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Dec 2020 02:29 AM PST Hey! I'm a returning player. I want to enjoy some standard madness for the time being and I was wondering: What would be the best build you can play in standard rn, regardless the price? Preferably some high survivability build, I want to push 100. I was checking pure phys cyclone slayer with the Kaom's Heart, but Im not sure. Thank you! [link] [comments]

Looking for something new to “main” for a while! Posted: 21 Dec 2020 02:22 AM PST I've had a decent amount of experience with different playstyles (Slams, Cyc, Mines, Minion AW, Bleed Bow and Chaos DoT) The one that I liked the most was Bleed EQ Jugg but im looking for something new I'd say im looking for something with average clear but strong single target and pretty tanky, budget would be 1-2 ex to soft cap it and have a good amount of room for min-maxing. (Clear is the weakest factor for me) It can also be a bit more active than usual in playstyle I kind of like things more that way, multiple buttons is a pro for me If anyone finds the time to reply, thank you very much for the help! Help with calculating elemental ailment effect Posted: 20 Dec 2020 05:20 PM PST I'm working on a PoB for a build and planning on using the heist amulet "Leaderships Price" which, when used properly, gives Scorching Brittle and Sapping conflux and disables other ailments. But in the config tab, by default Scorched and Brittle don't do anything, but you can config higher effects of each, up to pretty substantial dps increases. My question is; how would I know how much effect of Scorch or Brittle am I generating with the build? Is it like ignite, scaling off the size of the initial hit? [link] [comments]
is chieftain righteous fire league start viable? Posted: 20 Dec 2020 06:32 AM PST is it possible to get this going during the campaign or does it require significant currency/specific items? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Dec 2020 10:25 PM PST Hello guys any suggestions on what build I should do at the end of the league? I started to play in the beginning of Harvest league and I only played Arc and HoT Autobomber that league. This league I only played ball lightning and Aurastacker. I enjoy running through maps and destroying everything in my path at a fast pace. I prefer it to be able to do full delirium or at least simulacrums but that is not a deal breaker. My budget is around ~200ex but I prefer it to be cheaper if possible (already have HH). I was thinking about doing cyclone because it looks fun spinning through all the maps just don't know what variation of cyclone to go. Summoners and BV doesn't appeal to me. Hopefully you guys give me some suggestions thank you for reading this poorly formatted post! :D [link] [comments]
I want to try Call of Steel build, what ability I want to use for it? Posted: 20 Dec 2020 05:56 AM PST Hello, I was away from poe for few months, so I might miss some current info, but I want to try a call of steel champ build. I checked few chars and everybody uses different ability and a bit different tree. Can anybody explain, which ability is the best for it and why please? Ground slam sounds the best, but some ppl mentioned Earth shatter, which is weird, because if I can use only 1 attack per 4 secs (The impaler) that counts, Eshatter do many small hits, right? So why would ppl use this over e.g. ground slam? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Trying to become a one-trick, need to find the right build Posted: 20 Dec 2020 12:05 PM PST So I'm looking for a build that checks all of the following boxes:
So I'm not a new player. Been doing 40/40 like 3 or 4 leagues in a row now, had multiple headhunters and a level 100. But I feel like I've never been able to play a build more than once so far. ED/C isn't for me. [link] [comments]
Nerco aura LL carrion with 6L spectre and carrion in helmet? Posted: 20 Dec 2020 09:55 AM PST Unable to find any written guides about this build. Saw some poe.ninja builds similar to it, but not sure what advantages they have. [link] [comments]

Easy to level build that can do endgame cheap? Posted: 20 Dec 2020 03:11 PM PST I kinda default to 1 build because it fits the criteria (title). That is caustic arrow + toxic rain pathfinder. I want to branch out to something else but I don't know what to do. What I've played so far: - bane occultist - sadly got nerfed in 3.12 - totems - kinda boring - summoner (stone golems) - good damage but very boring - cold dot occultist - annoying to level (you don't get vortex / hypothermia etc. until lvl ~30) and vortex being a point blank skill irritates me - melee just doesn't seem for me, every time I start melee I abandon it very fast - miners / trappers irritate me because of the delay from you throwing stuff to the stuff actually killing mobs I wanted to try bladefall / bladeblast or maybe blade vortex but I have no idea how do you level them through first 3-4 acts and every video I found out (including Zizaran's) has frigging levelling uniques. I wanna know if there's some cheap build I can do for flashback and maybe 3.13 (barring nerfs / changes) so I don't have to do toxic rain for the n-th time. I hate levelling in POE and after mayhem and endless delve I'm so burnt out (I usually level 1 character per league, but in heist had to reroll because my starter sucked), at least in delve I didn't have to do labs, lab trials, stupid 5-phase bosses and other campaign's nastiness. I don't need a build that does millions of damage (I rarely ever get serious currency in any league), but a build that is tanky, reliable, cheap and won't make me suffer to play it (for example anything with "you must gem swap for bosses" is out of the window, or warcry piano, or ED/C 2-button playstyle). Also is there an easy no-respec required way to level characters to lvl ~30 when most skills unlock? That isn't caustic arrow or stormblast mine? Only 2 skills that ever worked for me in early levelling. And not a melee either. I tried 2 different characters on flashback and already gave up after act 1. I need something that isn't a chore to go through acts. I already did toxic rain again on mayhem. I need something fun and fresh. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
