| Flamewall Spellslinger - Looking for upgrades Posted: 28 Feb 2021 02:02 AM PST As above really, made my own version of flamewall spellslinger which is currently sitting at 7m dps/7m es, it comfortably farms all content I've thrown at it but I'm not sure where to progress into my next upgrade? I see from poeninja I'm the only person building it lowlife/in this way so can't even copy for upgrades! | When does lacerate start to feel good? Posted: 28 Feb 2021 12:30 AM PST Leveling a lacerate gladiator with bladestorm right now (lvl 53) and it feels fun. Hopping around from pack to pack, leave a sand or blood storm behind and off to the next. Every time I try to switch to lacerate it feels clunky. Have to point to shoot, slower mapping, etc. This is my first go with lacerate- does it start to feel better at some point and have greater advantages than bladestorm? [link] [comments]  | ||

I don't care much about Sirus or Maven, they've been shit for me this league so I don't intend to focus on them. Also preferably something that doesn't die every other map. | Posted: 28 Feb 2021 12:51 AM PST Hi, so im not that experienced in poe. I like builds where you dont have to constantly press 4+ buttons. so i started this league with HoT autobomber. I copied someone from poe ninja, so im not realy following a build guide. Im level 93 and it feels like im hitting a wall. I can run T16 maps "alc and go" with not much issues. but more than that is realy hard. Bossing is almost impossible (Maven fights) but thats HoT autobomber i guess? | Need help polishing/min-maxing my CI TR build (STD) Posted: 28 Feb 2021 04:28 AM PST Hello exiles. I need some help or guidance further improving my ci tr build. Any gear upgrade i can think of feels overly expensive for a minimal improvement, or that I would have to sacrifice some important damage or survivability for a gear upgrade. I don't know how to harvest craft so thats a small problem I have. I want to know what gear, tree or whatever changes you see I should be doing next. For now I have only put my eyes in a mirror tier bow but im still not halfway through getting a mirror worth currency. Survivability feels ok but i still die more than I'd like to some maven invitations or even shaper/elder guardians, and struggle on last 2-3 rounds of a simulacrum. Damage feels weak because needs me to stand on place to do good dps which is hard in most scenarios that require big damage. Things to note: I use a headhunter for mapping, I swap mirage archer (divergent) for awakened vicious projectiles on tough bosses and my soul strike has 150% faster start of shield recharge instead of the usual 80%, which feels very good overall. | Wanting to revive vaal ice nova for new vastir farming, what shall I do? Posted: 28 Feb 2021 03:22 AM PST I have an elementalist that I want to respec into a legion farmer. I'm not sure you can still do the pure vaal skill thing anymore, but just simply selfcasting it will be fine for me, no CoC. Ideally the build should be able to break the whole legion in one or two casts. I have so many options to choose, have a think about these questions: - Between elevated explode chest, inpulsa+storm's gift, or carcass jack, which do you think would be the best? - Do you think stacking light radius for wreath of phrecia is still a thing? - Does the Three dragons+Herald of ice chain combo still work? Is there a new way to do it? I'm thinking with inpulsa, dragons, HoI, and the elementalist notable "all damage with hits can shock", that should be a chain without having to use cold conversion. Shock with ice nova, explosion freezes next mob, HoI shocks next mob, explosion freezes next mob, etc etc. - Does the Blast-Freeze cluster notable scale with AoE? Does it stack? - Can you think of any huge improvements to aoe stacking that have appeared between legion and now? Cluster jewels and harvest obviously, but any more uniques in particular? - Will expedition's end (all damage can freeze) + chaos explosions w/ obliteration & profane bloom let me chain a sequence of chaos explosions and HoI explosions? | First time player need help to choose league starter class/build Posted: 27 Feb 2021 12:17 PM PST Hi, since diablo 2 resurrected is announced, I want to play diablo again and path of exile seems to be the best experience that is similar. I looked beginner guide, understand some of the basics before start playing. But one question remain, which class/build league starter should I choose ? There is so much possibilities that it is overwhelming. I looked requnix league starter build, poe vault league starter build, angry_roleplayer, Big ducks, poe official forum, other youtubers talking about class, poebuilds.cc, etc. I absolutely don't know what I want in all that. The last time I looked into that it was so much overwhelming that I just quit, so before feeling the same, this time, I have decided to come here asking for the help of the fans. I would like a single character that I can keep whitout changin. I don't care if I can restat him for another build or just keep him all along. Of course, I would like a great league starter. I'm not to much a fan of doing the same things all over again, so I'm aiming only to fiinish most of the content of the game, not grinding over and over in different levels of difficulty. I'm looking more to enjoy atmosphere, lore/story and gameplay. Maybe the game will change my mind if it's so good, but for now that's that for me. Also, I would like something that is the strongest I can get that is cheap and have good bossing/mapping so I could learn games mechanics whitout depending to much on wealth I don't have or crafting I don't understand yet. BUT the most important for me is something that feel and is fun to play !!! I don't have any preference melee or keeping distance with magic, I play different things in different games. I liked the mage/witch the most in diablo1 and 2 and prefer warrior/rogue in wow. Also, I would like something that don't feel to repetitive. Like the cyclone slayer feel so boring for me when I watch it in videos for doing always the same move... I was feeling the same with the blade fall assassin. Is there something that feel have varieties in it's core gameplay or at least can gives me that feeling ? Also, i just don't like anything with a bow, I don't want to use a bow like a primary weapon... I just hate that so much. That's all I can say, ik I can feel contradictory in my ideas, but it's the more precise I can get for my tastes. Inquisitor looks fun cuz it's a mix of magic and melee, but idk if it's good league starter.. shadow saboteur looks fun also cuz it's reminded me the bridge burners sappers of malazan book of the fallen, but i don't know which to chose there is so much traps.. toxic rain trickster don't look so bad either... I'm not to interested in the necromancer, cuz I want to be able to fight buy myself, I don't like pet/minions in games. Finally, could you guys send me the strongest build ? I'm a bit of not original, but I like big numbers, high burst playstyle that could put some of the biggest burst that the game can show. Idc that it is direct damage or over time. I don't care either if the class is easy or hard to master, I can learn, as long as it's still cheap. TL:DR : Highest burst I can get for a first time ever player in the game for a league starter class/build that feel fun to play. I also want only one character that I can keep for doing all content in the game. and the class must be FUN to plays. I want to get more burst than tankiness and I don't want a bow. I HATE bows lol. | Cold Indigon BV PF: Headhunter worth it? Posted: 27 Feb 2021 11:10 PM PST Hey all, so I started working on the indigon cold bv pf build that has been going around, and with a fairly reasonably cheap entry cost (20-30ex) it performs very well. Easy sirus 8 and super quick mapping. However, I've been a bit hesitant on how to upgrade. I have almost 150ex to spend, and I am wondering if I should throw a HH on it now then use excess to upgrade, or upgrade the build as much as I can without HH. I feel like it would be much harder to cap resists and such with headhunter, but getting it out of the way now would let me upgrade the rest of my gear accordingly. If I upgraded the build with a normal belt in mind, it might be a pain to switch things around or re-cap my res if I ever switch to HH. So, do you think it is worth it to get a HH early for this build? Would it help me farm faster to make more currency for more upgrades? (I have never bought a HH so I don't know exactly how much it helps, but I do know BV is one of the better builds with it.) Basically just deciding if I should move forward with HH + 80~ ex or skip HH and have 150~ ex for the build. Thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||
| LL Archmage Cold Conversion BV Hiero - Tell me my build is bad, and how I should change it Posted: 27 Feb 2021 10:13 PM PST Saw a youtube video by a creator named Kogaras for a cold conversion archmage blade vortex hierophant. Was interested because I was previously trying to do a quad herald elementalist that did the full phys->lightning->cold->fire converson last league, so I was eyeing a build that made use of call of the brotherhood. I took my spin on it and like where I am, but want to go further. Looking for advice on where to go. Gear upgrades, tree optimizations, arguments for crit or cluster jewels, if I should be dumping divines into my watcher's eye, etc. From when I look at things, it feels like I'd have to give up a fair bit of defense to take a different path than what I am on now. It also feels like any dps I gain from going that other direction (like crit or cluster jewels) I could attain from speccing out of defense on my current tree and into some more mana. Would like a different set of eyes on it. Thanks Oh, and about the POB, I like to tick things off to look at the build from a baseline perspective. I figure those other things aren't true 100% of the time so they are just added bonus dps. Feel free to check off whatever stuff you want if it makes comparisons easier for you. | Posted: 27 Feb 2021 07:33 PM PST I have 2 characters a Ed/c occultist who does about 3m dps for map farming and a Max block bleed EQ glad for delve/heist and invitations. I can technically do maven on both of these characters if I wanted but the glads dps is low at 1m dps and Ed/c is too squishy. I was thinking between generals cry blade flurry berserker or some kind of mana stacker miner or archmage as I have the most gear for those but would play any build. [link] [comments]  | ||
