| Posted: 06 Feb 2021 01:10 AM PST Been hard farming elder/uber elder with poison bf/bb and managed to get some really nice hits that left me with currency for a new build. Crafting is my favorite part of this game and the majority of my bf/bb is self crafted. While I technically could still craft upgrades to my current build it honestly just feels unnecessary with the dps I already have. I find it difficult to understand the full context of crafting items without actually playing the build or one that scales similarly so I'm looking for something to facilitate that. Prefer: No mana issues (bfbb was awful before 700 es eldritch battery) Fast clear Less button presses is better As few uniques as possible High ceiling Not phys or poison, I've played both and want to be crafting completely new items. | Looking for somewhat tankier build Posted: 06 Feb 2021 12:57 AM PST Hi guys, this is my first league. I played the last month of heist on and off with cyclone champ. I leaguestarted with DD necro. It was fine in mapping but i didnt invest much(dont know why) in it and just acquired currency. I killed sirus aw3(to learn fight). But it took too long then i switched to LL carrions with 20 ex. It was pretty good the boss dmage was there and mapping is good but playstyle didnt suit me. Now i have like 28ex lying around. I need a build thats kinda tanky and has good damage for bosses. I dont need to zoom zoom maps. Things i consider: Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I can play 2 button playstyle but the thousand warcry stuff is not for me. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Ignite Penance Brand Elementalist - SSF Posted: 06 Feb 2021 04:26 AM PST Hi Guys and Gals, This is my first serious attempt at SSF in PoE and I am enjoying it very much so far. However I feel my damage is very much at a point where it's becoming hard to kill certain bosses. I had a synthesis map boss take 5 minutes and a metamorph with regen that I couldn't out damage, even a few map bosses are surviving longer than I would like. I can clear maps up to t16 fairly fast. My defences are fairly solid after tweaking my tree and some gear around to take glancing blows and to cap my attack block and reach around 50% spell block, 6.5k eHP and 550 life regen per second. Surviving boss fights hasn't been a problem as of now. I figured I would ask for some help to improve my damage output and to check if there's anything I'm blatantly missing from the build or passive tree or if it's literally just a case of improving my gear. I'm not a build expert or PoB expert by any means so any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

Now i know the mechanics of POE more and knowing how to generate currency, I really want to try a golem build. I see people doing different golems (stone vs carrion). Which is better? Ive also seen ppl with golem builds that is tanky enough to just facetank A9 sirus. What mechanic is that? I've cleared almost everything on my storm brand inquisitor, but can't quite get past the breachlord fight and maven fight (and don't want to waste my 1 cortex unless I'm sure I can beat that too). I've found a decent rolled pledge of hands, and managed to 6 link it. I also have a crown of the inward eye, but no cloak of defiance or atziri's foible. Are there any builds that can make to safely do the maven fight with this? I have the resources to make a MoM shaper chest with spell crit, so that's not a problem, and I also have an essence worm. Again, the main goal of this would be to make a build that can nuke the breach lords, but also have the recovery necessary for the maven fight. Any ideas? I was originally looking at big duck's flask ascendant, but I think the mechanics of the fight means that if you die once, you'll never get your flasks up again in time. I could also try running a DD inquisitor since I just got my glorious vanity. Anyone have any thoughts? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Plague bearer's dps and scaling question Posted: 06 Feb 2021 03:00 AM PST Hey there, is there a way through PoB to calculate plague bearer's dps? I know it does 12% of 1.1m per second at lvl 20 but i was told it scales with poison damage, chaos damage, -chaos res. As someone who don't really know the formulas in this game, i'm currently following a pob who's poison damage has "977% increase" and "1069% more" (atleast for pestilent strike) Are those affecting plague bearer's dps and what dps could plague realisticly do? | Options for a non-melee boss killer this league Posted: 06 Feb 2021 02:33 AM PST I'm not exactly totally broke, but pretty fucking damn close to it - barely have 10-15ex in liquid assets maybe. I am kinda able to farm more however if its worth it. So currently I'm trying out the Poison BB/BF Poet's Pen spellslinger, but having doubts about its ability to pump out as much dps as I need to (it feels like there is a ramp up to spawn enough blades, something is amiss possibly). And I can't say that I like the playstyle that much, which is the main factor. So options I'm currently looking at:
What I'm looking for is to either insta-phase bosses or just be very comfortable kiting them from range - and ideally for it to come online no later than lvl90 and 20ex into it. If it has good clear, then that's even better, I would absolutely love to get some kind of explody shit going with some investment, but that's more of a bonus. [link] [comments]  | ||

Without dismantling my golem character I have about 20exalts to spend and am looking at starting either Storm Brand or Fire BV assassin for zoom zoom map clear. Could anyone tell me if spending 20ex to start into one of these builds is worth it or should I keep farming more currency? Would anyone have a recommended build that goes over what you would get with a budget option and then transition once you farm for the more expensive items? Any and all help is appreciated!
