    Introducing Lazy Sundays!

    Hi everyone! Now that the initial league hype has died down a little, we'd like to try out an idea we proposed a while ago. Specifically, we're going to experiment with relaxing certain rules for one day of the week. A lot of people understandably want to post the cool things they've found or done in the game, but in order to prevent being overrun by mirror drops, Stankface pics, and an unholy amount of memes, we throttle those posts hard. But the sub has grown a lot (400k! woot!) and we recognize that a large portion of the community does want to share and see these things, so we'd like to try setting aside one day a week for posts of this nature.

    We're currently calling this Lazy Sundays, and it'll function as follows. Every Sunday from 00:00 UTC to 19:59 UTC, we will be relaxing the following rules as specified below. GR8B0-T will make an announcement for both the start and end of this time period since "Sunday" is a fluid term depending on which side of the Pacific you're on!

    The first Lazy Sunday will begin on the weekend of February 6.

    • Rule 4: Memes are no longer required to contain PoE imagery, but must still be relevant to PoE in some way.
    • Rule 5: Low effort content such as screenshots of in-game occurrences (e.g. chat, lucky drops, funny monster names) will be allowed.
    • Rule 10: Any items may be posted, and explanations will not be required. Find a Mirror? Brag about it! Find a rare of nothing but T1's? Show it off!

    In short, if it's PoE-related, feel free to post whatever on Sunday!

    All posts of this nature must be flaired with the new "Lazy Sunday'' flair. Please report any posts that were posted outside the designated time period, or are not flaired properly.

    If you have any feedback on this, please let us know in the comments below. And just a friendly reminder: just because we're allowing the posts through doesn't mean you're guaranteed upvotes!

    Reminder, filtering exists!

    Due to the nature of Reddit, some of these posts may not decay quickly and will still be up on Monday. The current plan is to leave them up and embrace the experiment for now, but that doesn't mean everyone has to deal with the posts in the meantime. There are options for filtering!

    Reddit Enhancement Suite can filter posts of a certain flair:

    1. Go to settings
    2. Scroll down to 'Filters'
    3. Select 'Flair Filters'
    4. Add the flair or flairs you don't want to see anymore

    If you don't want to download anything there are also CSS subdomain filters on the reddit sidebar, specifically there's a new one filtering out the Lazy Sunday flair. Just click and go! Note that this is only functional on a normal browser and will not work on any (of the many) Reddit mobile apps.

    Constant Crashes Again - add your voice

    Seems like a lot of people who were experiencing the constant crashes last week are now experiencing them again after a day of respite. There appear to be no solid solutions besides messing around in your BIOS, and that doesn't even work for everyone. The game is actually unplayable because it hard crashes, with no error message, every 30 seconds.

    I'm trying to be calm and assume that GGG are aware of the issue and fixing it, but they've been silent on the issue. I wanted to make this thread so that we could be loud and annoying Redditors until we are heard! Please try to be polite in your frustration!

    What are your thoughts of Harvest implementation?

    I was very excited about harvest going core.

    However, I have been left disappointed. I'm already level 96 and have found 0 remove/add life. Have found a total of 7 remove/add crafts but unfortunately don't need to use any of them.

    I did a full sirus spawning cycle in haewaek hamlet. Found 2 groves but only had one good craft - which I don't need to use (remove/add fire). I also did a full sirus spawning cycle in lex proxima. I found 4 groves but had zero good crafts (all crafts were reforged). Zana maps were better; I spawned harvest once every 3 maps but the crafts were all reforged. Not one Zana harvest gave me a good craft.

    The prices of crafts are very high - people are selling remove/add life for 1.5ex to 2ex. So a casual player like me is priced out of the market.

    What I like about harvest was I was able to craft my own gear and I have a chance to obtain some GG gear. There was progression at my own pace and my own efforts. Now, I have to sell my unwanted crafts and buy gear on trade. Which just makes harvest a tool to earn currency rather than a tool to craft.

    Since we can only store 10 crafts, can we up the number of harvest encounters? This gives the smaller players like me a chance to encounter good crafts and use them, rather than sell them.

    I've seen several posts regarding this, but I think this level of performance is simply unacceptable...

    I may not have a high-end PC, but I had never had as much trouble with low fps as I'm having now. I used to play PoE in somewhat good graphics (not the best, not the worst), but as of now, I have to set everything on the lowest setting possible, and I still get 5 FPS in Sirus fight, and probably less. I can't even tell what is happening.

    Other than that, the audio was totally desynced. He would shoot his die beam, and 1 second later, he was scream "DIE".

    I get it that you guys from GGG are doing your best in trying to improve the game, and Ritual League and Echos of the Atlas show that, but several people aren't able to enjoy the content properly because of poor performance. My PC can run Cyberpunk at a better performance than PoE atm.

    1st Gen Ryzen processors constantly crashing since the 3.13.1 patch.

    For the past 3 to 4 days players with 1st gen ryzen have been experiencing constant crashes, the game is unplayable for so many players and there has been no RESPONSE YET FROM GGG regarding this issue, many solutions were presented (disable multi-threading, bios smt, revert windows 10 update, Vulkan, etc.). But none solved the issue, we need a response from GGG ASAP.

    -Elegantly solves the "just run the same map over and over" problem

    -Bunch of new cool items

    -Atlas talent trees are great and well-balanced (at least, except for Perandus) leading to actual decision making

    -Tremendous amount of extra content that doesn't feel like as much of a grind as it probably ought to

    I can play through crashes, I can play through bugs, I can play through balance passes.

    What's gonna make me stop playing is Trade. GGG please, we are begging you, change it.

    It's just so painful, this is beyond the "player interaction" philosophy, because there is none. Everyone uses Macros/Scripts to trade because of how painful it is. And even then the "player interaction" that is there, is extremely minimal. We spend 5 seconds in the players hideout, for them to just put the item in a window and click a button. There is no interaction at all.

    It's time to compromise.

    With any system, nothing is ever perfect. Here's my spitballing idea. Player Shops. We find a place in Oriath or another public area and setup a player shop. This obviously has a negative effect of making things messy, but is also has a positive of making the game feel alive and a real multiplayer experience, because let's be honest, unless you're farming 100% delirum t16's, partying in this game is pretty awful, with many systems not sharing/working with parties. Back to the shops. We can set it up similar to a stash tab, place items in it and price it accordingly, and make a title for our "shop". "Subs Premium Goods" "6L6W Explodey Astral Plate 25ex" etc. you get the point. It's an idea similar to those old MMO's that had player shops aswell, you must be online for your shop to work, but you're free to go out and do other things, you wont get the currency until you go back to your shop and collect it. This could also be integrated into the current PoE Trade website, where you could copy a command of sorts, after finding the item you like, and you enter it in game, and it ports you infront of the shop selling that specific item you wanted. With this system, you're still interacting with other players by visiting their shops, and the seller still needs to do something to get their currency, so not as automated as an auction house. I agree that an AH isn't the way to go, but a system like this is an in between compromise, in between convenience and player interaction (both parties having to go to the same place, but not at the same time) it could also notify you of when an item is sold and which item, so you know to go back and check your store now, or later if it wasn't a highly valuable item/you don't need the currency right now. It could also tie into the MTX system with cooler looking shop fronts, like a fairgraves themed one, etc.

    TL;DR: Trade needs to change, and it needs to change soon. No one is enjoying spending an hour trying to sell some ex for chaos.

    I love this game a lot, I really do. But every league trade just gets worse and worse. It's not fun.
