| Can we have optimisation since POE 2 is 2022 at the earliest Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:57 AM PDT Since POE2 has now been updated to say 2022 at the earliest, can we have an overhaul of the drop loot system to address serious performance issues. 99.99% of end game players are using loot filters to remove 90%+ of all items from showing, but they are still rendered and cause serious performance issues. It's impossible to press alt in a map once you have killed some enemies. With loot completely hidden, performance slowly degraded as you progress through the map. Even more so on maps that are not long in length. Example: cemetery. These are causing massive issues for all players. You previously said loot would be addressed in POE2. We were hoping for a late 2020 early/mid 2021 release, but due to reasons, that's not possible. Which is cool! We're happy to wait. But please set aside some time and implement some badly needed changes to loot drops as this directly prevents players being able to play. [link] [comments]  | ||

| The sounds minions make while in hideout makes me crazy Posted: 24 Mar 2021 12:07 PM PDT I played dd necro all league and I'm going nuts listening to the spectres sounds as they walk around for no reason, and there's nothing I can do besides mute everything while in hideout, or change builds I know I'm not the only person that is bothered by minion noises, can we please get something like an extra volume slider, else I don't think I can ever stand playing a minion build again [link] [comments]  | ||

| When do GGG usually reveal the next league release date? Posted: 24 Mar 2021 10:55 AM PDT I want to take a week off work and rush to 100 on leaguestart, something I didn't do since Delve league. But obviously when you take a week-long vacation you need to warn the team 3-4 few weeks in advance. So I have to decide this week. When do GGG usually reveal the release date? Can we already be sure that it starts on April 16th, or could it also be April 23rd? I'm assuming a lot of people had the same problem many times. How do you deal with it? [link] [comments]  | ||

| I really Iike playing SSF - I am glad someone suggested it! Posted: 24 Mar 2021 10:57 AM PDT In a post a couple of weeks ago, u/ikillppl suggested I try SSF - and I really lit it. I enjoy playing POE as interactive fiction - but the shared stash gets in the way. I have a couple of characters who are far enough along that having a lot of skill gems and a little stashed armor/weapons makes sense. But it does not make sense to me that a new character washes ashore in Wraeclast, and has immediate access to hundreds of skill gems and dozens of types of armor/weapon, etc. So started an SSF character - no shared stash, and decided to make some rules for myself. Until my character has a hideout, I figure the most that they might have is a pouch than can hold currency, and maybe a few skill gems - but probably no room for armor. Once this character gets a hideout, I might expand to allow some armor/weapons - I can see someone having a little room in a hideout for a chest in which to stash a limited amount of stuff. This introduced a slightly different dynamic into the game - if I cannot immediately use a piece of armor or a weapon, I have to drop it. That makes a heck of a lot of sense to me - I can't imagine a ranger or the like trotting around the country side with a couple of extra chest plates and 3 or 4 bows. As an outcast, you would have to travel light and move fast. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 24 Mar 2021 02:12 AM PDT In a number of threads I read that this craft or that craft was not mirrorworthy because it was cheaper to redo it from scratch instead of crafting it. Apart from the fact that mirroring items may simply be motivated by not wanting to invest the time that the process of crafting would take, which items actually ARE worth mirroring, considering only the expected cost vs. cost of mirrors-aspect? I am talking the league here, not standard, because the availability of bases in standard is another aspect that affects this and that I don't really care about. I assume that maven's orb affects the decision here. But I can't remember having seen items with an amount of successful maven's orb-craftings that indicated successful gambles that would make the expected crafting cost of said item higher than the price of mirrors. I admit that I simply don't know enough about crafting to easily identify those, in fact, I recently underestimated the expected cost of an item by a lousy 300ex, so that's a proof I really don't know what I am talking about. Which is the reason I am asking; Which items exist this league that are really worth mirroring, considering only the expected cost vs. cost of mirrors-aspect? [link] [comments]  | ||
